- Annick S.May 2024Positive tingOperators and cleanlinessNegative tingNothingAbsolutely recommendable!Directly on the dyke with a 10-minute walk to the sea view in the direction of Pfahlbauten Böhl.
The site is pleasantly small, the operators absolutely friendly and helpful and wonderfully matter-of-fact.
The sanitary facilities are modern and clean, there is fresh water, a washing-up area, washing machines... and dryers and a dog washing area. Waste separation is very important and is well sorted.
Books can be borrowed from reception, and ice cream, drinks and cigarettes are also available. There are also lots of flyers about nearby activities.
Bread rolls etc. are available at the next but one campsite, about 450 meters away on foot, and the selection is large and the goods are delicious.
We made an uncomplicated booking for Whitsun in advance using the contact form for a camper with a rear tent.
A picture-book site for us and we will always come here.Automatisk oversatt. - Berthold B.April 2024Positive tingClose to the North Sea and the city. Ideal for guests with dogs, as there are huge areas for dogs to run around on the beach.Negative ting?????Great camping siteWe had a real rest and our dog loved the beach too. In the morning from the bakery to get bread rolls you can make the first Gassei gang with the dog. You can be in town in about 15 minutes by bike. The cleanliness of the sanitary facilities is excellent.
We will be backAutomatisk oversatt. - Claudia T.May 2023Positive tingThe site is very well organized, everything is clean. The family-friendly atmosphere is very pleasant. The Kniese family is very accommodating and always supportive. Direct access to the dunes and the cycle path. Very quiet and relaxing. A great place and a great area.Negative tingI can't find anyWonderful timeWell-run site, super organized. The showers and toilets are freshly renovated and clean. The washing machines and dryers do a good job.
The pitches are large enough for you to spread out and feel at home. The owner family is extremely accommodating and friendly. They are always supportive. Sometimes... an "angel" stands behind me and helps. A very quiet and relaxing place. From the campsite you have direct access to the dunes and the cycle path. There are always benches to linger and enjoy. Bakery nearby, Edeka easy to reach by bike.
I feel safe and in good hands here, even on my own. I would love to come back again sometime.Automatisk oversatt. - Jan S.April 2023Positive tingVery clean and suitable for familiesNegative tingCatastrophic showersFamily placeAs a family, we try out several campsites a year.
We have almost nothing but positive things to say about the Rosencamp in St. Peter Böhl.
There is a family atmosphere, which is radiated by the operators.
The site is small and not noisy, which makes it suitable for families.
The wash house for dishes... is nice and clean, as are the toilets.
But now comes the "almost only positive":
The showers are a disaster.
Yes, it really is like something from the last century.
One shower house only has old hand showers, which make it difficult to shower in the usual way.
But that's not so bad, you can cope with it. It's even worse if someone enters the toilet in the next room and flushes while showering. First of all, your back is scalded, so turn it down and then turn it up again shortly afterwards.
The other shower house already has overhead showers, but lever mixer taps.
Not so bad either, but the water from the showers comes very close to the lever.
So you have to shower directly at the lever. Not possible with children.
You reach the lever too quickly and then there's a lot of shouting.....
And then for €2 per shower, showering with 2 children becomes a luxury.
The shower time is very long, but could be halved and then cost €1. That would be a better solution.
Once the investment is made, there's nothing more to complain about.Automatisk oversatt. - Rolf C.June 2022Positive tingGood value, LocationNegative tingold, cold sanitary building with shower tokens poor WLan no bread roll serviceSimple without service but cheapThe privately run campsite is located behind the dyke on the outskirts of the village. Very long walk to the beach. Cycle path on the dyke behind the site. The pitches are all on grass without a water and drainage connection. You have to carry canisters. Sanitary building from the 70s but clean. Unfortunately... always cold rooms because even at 13 degrees the door is open and all windows are tilted open, it is uncomfortably cold for showering. Shower tokens required, cost 1,-. There is no bread service, the nearest bakery is about 1 KM away. WLan available, but hardly usable, especially in the evening. The place is inexpensive but also very simple with partly narrow plots and no service. It was built in the 70s and is no longer up to date.Automatisk oversatt.
- Andreas F.August 2021Positive tingSuper clean sanitary facilities, very nice and helpful operators, everything you need for camping. Camper-Clean machine. Showers with immediately available hot water,Negative tingSomewhat small pitches, unfortunately no bread service Showers by coin-operated machine (5min = 1EUR)Simply campingSimple vping place with very nice operators who do everything humanly possible to make the guests' stay as pleasant as possible.
The boss and his son always have an open ear for the guests.
Unfortunately, the pitches are a bit small (approx. 80 square meters) and there is no bread roll service. However, it is only about 900m to the nearest bakery. The good restaurant is only about 600m away.Automatisk oversatt. - Holger M.July 2021Positive tingThere is plenty of space on the campsite, the operators are extremely relaxed and very friendly! Very clean showers and toilets!Negative tingThe W-LAN is unfortunately subterranean. However, this is due to the current network connection and not the campsite. Fiber optics are currently being laid in SPO, after which the issue should be resolved.Very nice campsiteWe spent two wonderful weeks camping with the Kniese family! There's plenty of space on the pitches and it's pleasantly quiet on the campsite.
The site is still really "old-school" which we personally found very nice! The showers and toilets are very clean, which is partly due to the campsite and partly due to the people who stay there!
We certainly weren't there for the last time.Automatisk oversatt. - Erika J.September 2019Positive tingWell located Cleanliness is good Friendliness of the operatorNegative tingNo water and waste water near the pitch Very high electricity costsWell located place come againOperator always very helpful and friendly unfortunately the electricity costs are very high 80 cents no water and sewage on the pitchAutomatisk oversatt.
- Theresa B.August 2019Positive ting- clean sanitary facilities - nice operators - local transportation - you can walk to the beachNegative ting- No bread roll serviceNice place and nice operatorsSuper nice place and nice operators. Everything is clean and the pitches are spacious. You can walk to the sea from the campsite and the bus to the "city center" leaves practically on the doorstep. The appropriate bus ticket is available at the campsite (tourist tax).Automatisk oversatt.
- Edda L.August 2019Positive tingVery clean sanitary facilities, nice site operators, dogs are welcomeNegative tingThere is noWe would love to come backA really great place, simple but everything is very clean and the most important things are available. Very nice site operator and groundsman.Automatisk oversatt.
- Udo R.July 2019Negative tingnearest bakery approx. 900 m away. A short walk after getting up, while others are still asleep, does not hurt.very relaxedNice, quiet campsite with plenty of spacious pitches. Very friendly and helpful operators. The site is close to the beach crossing, making it easy to walk. Great value for money, absolutely recommendableAutomatisk oversatt.
- Walter E.July 2018Positive tingFriendliness, cleanlinessNegative tingPerhaps it would be worth considering abolishing the shower tokens and including them in the price per person.A place with charmIt's nice that there are still places that have preserved the good old camping. No superfluous frills, but the friendliness of the operators, an always clean sanitary building and the peace and quiet on the site make the campsite something special. The site has retained its charm. We would love to come back.Automatisk oversatt.
- Thorsten S.July 2018Positive tingPitch size, HelpfulNegative tingNoneFriendly employeeWe were greeted politely and accompanied to the pitch. Beautiful pitches and clean sanitary facilities We will be back againAutomatisk oversatt.
- Dirk M.June 2018Positive tingSuaber - nice - and close to the beach (as far as you can speak of being close to the beach in St. Peter)Negative tingNo kiosk or anything like that on siteWeekend trip to St. PeterWe stayed at the CP in Böhl over the weekend. We liked it very much. The site is super clean. The groundsman is very friendly and seems to be on duty all day. However, you shouldn't expect too much here. Everything you need is there. But nothing more. What I also liked was the wifi. Tickets are not sold here 24 hours a day - but 24 hours ONLINE.Automatisk oversatt.
- Kl. S.April 2018Positive tingProximity to the beach, cleanliness..good and well-kept three star place!First of all, there is nothing seriously negative and there is also nothing particularly positive worth mentioning. The campsite has everything you need for a caravan vacation and nothing more. Everything is always clean and the sanitary facilities are modern and inviting. You no longer have to pay extra... for hot washing-up water! In short, the campsite is a little simpler but functional and very adequate. Retail outlets and restaurants are somewhat scarce in the immediate vicinity. On the other hand, the campsite borders on a unique natural landscape. To get to the beach, you first have to cross the beautiful salt marshes. Even though I described the campsite somewhat soberly at the beginning, it can be recommended without hesitation as a base camp for beach excursions. A special highlight is the €3/day guest card ... which allows you to use the local bus free of charge and it even goes down to Böhler Strand. Conclusion: I liked it here, it's a good place to camp in St. Peter!Automatisk oversatt.
- Marcus K.March 2018Positive tingGreat location directly behind the dikeFriendly, quiet, great locationBeen coming here for years, super friendly campsite, very clean and quiet.Automatisk oversatt.
- Sascha D.August 2017Positive tingVery close to the dike and the salt marshes just great for a walkSuper nice placeWe have been coming here for several years now, regardless of whether it's pre-season, main season or post-season, we always come back to the Kniese family and always feel very comfortable with our dogs!Automatisk oversatt.
- Eveline B.August 2017Positive tingQuiet, clean, tidy and friendly operatorsBeautiful locationWe spent some lovely days at the campsite with our caravan. Very quiet, despite high season, absolutely great location with super nice operator of the place. Clean and well-kept, absolutely comfortable. We, a mother with a 15-year-old daughter, felt very comfortable. Thank you very much!Automatisk oversatt.
- Wolfgang F.July 2017Positive tingClose to the beach, very quietNegative tingA little away from the villageWe've been here beforeWell-kept and well-organized campsite with friendly, flexible and customer-oriented management. Newspapers and bread rolls are available at the next but one campsite or in the bakery a few meters away. The distances to and from SPO are very long, you need at least a bicycle. But you can get to the uniquely beautiful beach very quickly on foot.Automatisk oversatt.
- De Q.June 2017Positive tingCleanlinessClean and customer-friendlyWe were there for one night. There was enough space before the high season. The waste separation is great - with labeling 👍. There is a sandpit and a large wooden house with a swing for the children. But they are not allowed to play soccer.Automatisk oversatt.
