- Derick S.June 2022Positive tingConveniently located, friendly receptionNegative tingno pitch allocation, too expensive for this pitch 40,00 €/nightLarge space with free choice of seatsA large pitch with plenty of space. Friendly reception, but no pitch allocation.
Clean sanitary facilities. If those looking for a pitch would drive a little slower, it would be even quieter on the pitch.
We had a great pitch with an unobstructed view of the Trondheimfjord.Automatisk oversatt. - Guido R.June 2019Positive tingBeautiful viewNegative tingNoisy train, expensive bus.Nice view of the fjord but partly noisyThe site is beautifully situated on the fjord and you should take the pitches with a view of the fjord or at least in the rear area. The train passes right by the site and is noisy. There is also the airport nearby and airplanes fly over the site. The sanitary facilities in the rear area are newer and... larger. The ones in the front are older. The bus to Trondheim now costs 60 kro. So for 2 people there and back 24€. And you can only pay cash on the bus. There is also the option of buying a ticket by SMS. It only costs 38 kro, but that doesn't work for everyone. Trondheim is beautiful in places, but you get through it quickly. There is a snack bar on the square which is very good and the owner is very helpful. He lent us money for the bus as we didn't have enough cash.Automatisk oversatt.
- Manfred B.July 2018Positive tingGood to visit Trondheim Clean sanitary facilities (1 large new building)Negative tingnot loud, but very restless, due to constant coming and goingGood but very restlessThe site scores points with the front terrace pitches and a magnificent view of the fjord, as well as the new sanitary building. This is above the average of what you usually find in Scandinavia. Due to the size of the site, however, it was sometimes a long walk to the sanitary facilities, which were... very clean, but some were older. Kiosk with a small range of food (kebab, pizza, etc.) Pitches are parceled out. Constant coming and going throughout the day, therefore very restless. Quiet at night though. Most people use the site for a visit to Trondheim. Very suitable for 2-3 days, but I wouldn't want to stay here for longer (due to the restlessness). Price: car+caravan+2 people+dog without electricity = 320 Nkr. Showers cost 20 Nkr.Automatisk oversatt.
- Hans M.June 2018Positive tingLocation.Super view.We were there in summer 2018. Pitch right on the beach, sensational. Registration person rather not attentive. Was our most expensive pitch in Norge.Automatisk oversatt.
- Bruno S.August 2017Positive tingClose to TrondheimNegative tingExpensive and not really cleanOkay for a city visitWe stayed at the site for two nights with our motorhome. Sensational location right on the shore of the fjord, with a magnificent view of the fjord and the surrounding mountains. The beach was great for the children. However, quite a lot of aircraft noise from Trondheim airport (our children loved watching... the incoming planes :)). Quite expensive due to the proximity to Trondheim, WiFi was included, showers cost extra. The sanitary facilities are a bit dated, the shower cubicles narrow, cleanliness was acceptable. Overall, the place is recommendable for a city visit, but not for a longer stay.Automatisk oversatt.
- Dieter K.August 2017Positive tingLocationNegative tingExpensive, too few sanitary facilitiesBrilliant view of the fjordThe access road is not that narrow. No problem for experienced campers! Large terrain, terraced towards the fjord. The terraced areas have a gravel surface with a lawn next to it. CEE power connections. WiFi freely available throughout the site. Unfortunately, there is only one sanitary building with... 2 coin-operated showers (NOK 10), 3 toilets and 3 washbasins - male and female. 1 kitchen, 1 kiosk, which also sells hot food (e.g. pizzas) and fresh bread. Everything close to the access road. Far too few sanitary facilities for all the campers on the site. Therefore, and also because of the high price, no better rating. By far our most expensive pitch in Norway so far. 340 NOK (electricity, 2 adults) The noise pollution from the airport is very limited, the music from the neighbor is sometimes louder! You can't hear anything from the road or the train on the terraced pitches. Bus stop to Trondheim in front of the site. 30 min. to the city center.Automatisk oversatt.
- Uwe M.August 2016Positive tingGreat sea view on terrace pitches Clean sanitary buildingNegative tingNoise pollution from air and rail traffic Poor distribution of sanitary buildings and thus long distances from the beautiful placesIf you "have to", you have to walk a long wayBehind the reception, the campsite is entered via a very narrow bridge over the railroad tracks. We were glad that we "only" had a 2.30m wide caravan. 2.50m could be tight. We had a free choice of pitches. The site is divided into a spacious meadow area, directly behind the reception where the sanitary... building is located, an area for the rental cabins, also with a sanitary building and then the terrace area with a sea view, without a sanitary building. The site is very large, which means that if you need to go to the toilet, you should think about it in good time if you have decided on one of the pitches with a magnificent sea view. The pitches on the terraces were divided into alternating gravel pitches and a strip of grass next to them. On the grass pitches in the other area, there was no recognizable division. The sanitary facilities were clean. Noise pollution was caused by the constant air traffic (approach area to Trondheim airport) and the railroad line.Automatisk oversatt.
- VikLen S.July 2016Nordkapp-Norway-2016Very good and large camping site on the fjord water. Just be careful: very narrow access road (the bridge) for wide caravans/mobile homes. But with 2.50 wide caravans I, like others, managed to drive through. Good fixed, divided pitches, some of which are unfortunately far away from the sanitary facilities.... Sanitary facilities are clean, area for cooking and washing up is inside (warm). Barbecue area. A nice children's playground. Bathing is also possible (depending on your own settings - because of water temperature). Shower, as left, for small money. Trondheim -16km.Automatisk oversatt.
- Andreas und Petra S.July 2016Positive tingProximity to TrondheimExpensive pleasureA very large site by Norwegian standards. According to the homepage, 200 power connections are available. Checking in was routine and monosyllabic. There is free choice of pitches and although we didn't arrive until around 6 pm, there were still plenty of free pitches with sea views on the newly designed... terraces. The latter consist of flat, gravelled pitches with a strip of grass next to them. We paid NOK 320 including electricity, WLAN is included. Showering costs extra, however, and the shower machine needs to be fed with tokens, which have to be purchased at reception beforehand. There is also a mini-shop on the site for the essentials. Fishing from the jetty is popular and successful.Automatisk oversatt.
- Günther T.August 2014Positive tingGood starting point to Trondheim, as there is a good bus connection.Negative tingA lot of water on the green areas when it rainsPlace of long distancesActually beautiful and terraced, somewhat difficult to navigate in places - mainly by the water. However, the paths from there to the sanitary facilities are a bit long. The sanitary facilities could be looked after a bit more, but are basically okay. Likewise the (somewhat small) kitchen. Showers cost extra.Automatisk oversatt.
- Andrea K.July 2014Positive tingFjord location, close to TrondheimNegative tingSanitary cleanlinessTrondheimBeautiful location on the fjord with bathing area. Pitches with direct fjord view are great. Sanitary facilities not particularly clean. Trondheim approx. 20 km away. Easy to reach by bike on cycle paths only.Automatisk oversatt.
- Thomas E.June 2014Positive tinggood for sightseeing in Trondheim good transport connections - yet quiet large parking spacesNegative tingfar away from everythingClass for the tour of TrondheimBeautiful location on the North Sea, on a side street - therefore quiet. You can't hear the train. There are two sanitary buildings; the one next to the reception is old and overcrowded. Better to use the one next to the rental properties. There are very large sanitary facilities (shower, toilet and... washbasin in one room. New pitches were created on the shore of the North Sea in 2014. Also suitable for motorhomes. Very large, steep access road. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.Automatisk oversatt.
- Jörg B.August 2013Terraced, uneven meadow and gravel terrain. Website and reality far apart. Very damp ground when it rains. Showers 4min/10NOK. Online booking possible, but not confirmed and obviously not taken into account. Upper part of the CP on the railroad line.Automatisk oversatt.
- Roland M.June 2011
- Lothar N.June 2010Railroad line right on the edge of the pitch. Second sanitary building newly built. Poor cleaning in both buildings. Good starting point for sightseeing Trondheim.Automatisk oversatt.
- R.F.P. S.May 2010I visited this campground a few years ago. Now the second generation is in this business. Mrs. Ronaess ran the business until she was in her late seventies. Her son has continued the business. In my opinion, a very acceptable campground, but it needs some work. I do not know how the situation is at the moment, because it has been a while again.Automatisk oversatt.
