- No children's washbasins. Children have no opportunity to wash their hands after using the toilet.
- Only one wash house and therefore too few shower facilities for the many pitches - and approx. 100 pitches were added in 2024
- several days of partially broken showers. And... that with a fully occupied pitch! Defective shower only recognizable after you have undressed and pressed the start button. Or, even worse: the water stopped after a very short time. Then you had to look for another shower with shampooed hair, which meant waiting. CATASTROPHE - especially with children. Repairs were initially only attempted but not completed.
- Too few dishwashing places for the space available.
- WLAN an imposition - either no reception or so slow that it was unusable!
- No seating or sun loungers in the small outdoor area of the swimming pool, which was also not particularly clean and constantly overcrowded.
- The price-performance ratio does not even come close to matching these shortcomings! We had to pay over €900 for a week with two adults and a 7-year-old child!

We stayed here at the campsite for a week over Easter. Three weeks before we were due to arrive, we received an email with a new pitch layout and became aware of construction work on the site.
On arrival we realized why, the original hedge had given way to new pitches and we were looking at a building... site. From 7:00 in the morning there was construction noise and the pitches in front of us were not passable without sinking down to the axle. This caused a lot of annoyance among our fellow campers. When we approached reception, the only reply was "sorry". Our pitch was fortunately paved but very uneven so we couldn't really level it out and stood very crooked. The TV connection didn't get any reception, after asking three times still no one from the campsite responded and we finally gave up. The swimming pool is getting on in years and needs renovation. The water was green and when you went in you immediately got tingling on your skin and red eyes from the chlorine. The sanitary facilities were clean but always smelled a bit like sewers. The soap dispensers in the toilets were often empty and out of 4 dishwashers in the washing up area, 2 were permanently broken. The garbage piled up in the collection point (directly in front of the wash house) over the Easter days and was not picked up. The animation at Easter was also rather ridiculous, the children could look for the same hard-boiled eggs twice until they were no longer usable and didn't even get a small Easter greeting at the end.
Unfortunately we expected more from a 5 star campsite
(100 € per night) and were visibly disappointed by the service and the highly advertised campsite.

Enjoyed 2 wonderful weeks
We had two wonderful weeks at Zeeufse Kust. The arrival was totally relaxing - we only had to walk the last 10 meters to the campsite, as it was very narrow in the side streets. The playground, the store and the staff were great, the wash house was always clean and the coffee was delicious. We were completely satisfied and had a wonderful 2 weeks. Many thanks to the Zeeufse Kust team.

The receptionist was very unfriendly and said that there was a construction site on the website. It does not say there that you stand at the construction site access road no green but a flutter tape as a barrier to the construction site and then pay a comfort pitch. No excuse or discount or a voucher for anything on the site. You wouldn't get that at any other site.

The place is actually very nice but the service staff are unfortunately unprofessional and incompetent. I would like to insert a photo. The price list also doesn't fit with prices from 27.00€ for a pitch you pay 65,00€ for one night and two persons !!!! And I don't understand why water and electricity are described as comfort.

We received a very friendly welcome. Pleasant atmosphere, very clean and modern sanitary facilities. Free coffee, really great! Unfortunately, something was apparently defective in one of the sanitary buildings and a kind of pump system was installed provisionally, which could be heard in the immediate... vicinity. Didn't bother us though, we were far enough away. Restaurant good (almost very good), shopping facilities on site. Renesse can be reached on foot in about 45 minutes. Overall really recommendable.

Beautiful & modern place with small compromises
The beach park is very modern and clean. Everything around the reception is nicely done, nice café and restaurant, but not cheap. I can't judge the quality, we didn't test it. The pitches are sufficiently large and parceled out depending on the category chosen. However, poor to no W-LAN reception.
Nice... location close to the beach. The mini market is well equipped and you can also buy nice things at the reception if you like.
We found the sanitary building negative. Ultra-modern, chic interior. But unfortunately not very functional. No extractor fan in the shower cubicles, the doors are closed - so you are completely in a haze. Drying off doesn't work very well this way. The space is also a bit cramped. Even more uncomfortable on warm days. There is already mold on the ceilings and the paint is peeling. No storage space. Where to put shower gel and shampoo?
I met several fellow campers who didn't find this ideal either.
The lounge in the sanitary facilities with a fully automatic coffee machine is of course also chic and a great service, but the volume when showering was often like in an indoor swimming pool.
It should also be noted that you should like dogs. It felt like there were more dogs than people. There are no dog-free pitches.
Despite the extra dog path around the site, some dog owners still manage to get their dog to shit in front of the awning. Cleaning up is not an option. But of course it's not the site's fault, it was always very clean.
Conclusion: For some people this may be moaning at a high level, but everyone feels differently and I would just like to honestly describe our impression.

The pitches are nice and large and partly surrounded by hedges.
There is a very clean new sanitary building with free dishwashers and free coffee for the waiting time.
Despite the many dogs, it is never noisy. There are numerous poop bag dispensers and a dog-walking circuit. Nevertheless, 9 euros per... day for a dog is too expensive.
The walk to the beach is definitely longer than the 250m indicated. With children, it takes a good 20 minutes to walk to the nearest beach and over the dunes.

One of the best places in Holland
The overall picture fits, starting from the sanitary facilities to the pitches, unfortunately such a place also costs money, but anyone who has ever traveled in the south knows that it is not so expensive with such a facility. We are often on this site and we know other sites in Holland, including cheaper... ones. But we are always drawn back there. If you want to camp comfortably, this is the perfect place. The only thing that bothers us is that there is no swimming pool for adults.

Very good place!
After we had completed our booking (prepayment with very strict cancellation conditions!) and check-in online in advance, the barrier to the beautifully laid out and well-kept pitch opened without visiting reception. The hedge-lined pitches offer protection on at least three sides. The sanitary blocks... are modern and always clean. However, the soap and disinfectant dispensers were not always refilled during our stay.
The store offers everything you need on a daily basis and fresh bread rolls were available all day long.
The gastronomy was limited due to Corona, but offered a good selection.

We paid for 5 days. We were told that the Acsi card was no longer valid, 1 1/2 hours later people came and got exactly this discount. A difference of over 70€!!! When we asked, they couldn't explain it. Neither the neighbors nor we had made a reservation. In the evening it is pitch dark on the motorhome... site. Without a flashlight you are lost. The pitches themselves are not a good surface. For a 5 star place, I expect something else. The sanitary facilities were top👍 for a dog in the preseason 9€ I find outrageous, especially since the dog run was not usable (absolute danger of slipping!!!). We are very disappointed and will not visit this place again. We know other places in Renesse. 😏

Hello, I would like to tell you about our one-week New Year's Eve vacation at "De Zeuwse Kust" in Holland/Renesse! We traveled with 2 children (9 and 13), two dogs and a family friend (children 2 and 9)! We were very pleasantly surprised and felt completely at home! The new sanitary building invites... you to feel at home, and with the campsite almost fully booked you couldn't complain about the cleanliness! I missed paper towels in the washbasin area to clean them briefly after use or to remove hair if necessary. More coat hooks here and in front of the shower cubicles (e.g. for jackets) would also be useful. In the large entrance area there is a large wooden table and a large coffee machine for free coffee, cappuccino and co. Great service if you're waiting for your partner or want to wash up. You can even use the dishwashers here free of charge! The whole site is well-kept and inviting! There is a well-stocked store in the reception building and a large selection of fresh bread rolls at fair prices every day! The restaurant looks great, but we didn't try it. The indoor area is nice, we can't say anything about the entertainment due to lack of participation. The swimming pool is adequate and the children had fun there every day thanks to the free use. I thought that the floor here (especially in the entrance area and the cabins) should be cleaned several times a day! The sauna is switched on after registration and costs €10 per person. We were disappointed by this, one sauna was not switched on, the other only ran at half power and didn't get really warm. The infrared cabin was also not switched on properly and was finally switched on correctly by my husband. There is a small whirlpool and a few chairs outside. All in all, very loveless and dreary. The sauna is definitely in need of improvement and not worth the money! The beach can be reached through the small vacation home complex via a road and over the dyke in about 7 minutes. The dog walk directly adjacent to the campsite is great! We liked it very much, not least because of the top price-performance ratio (with Acsi) and the firecracker-free New Year's Eve!

Beautiful campsite
Were on the pitch over New Year's Eve 19/20. Firecracker-free place! Super great wash house, free coffee, free dishwashers available, great facilities in the wash house. Also great that the pitches in the awning area had a surface with artificial turf. No dirt, nothing can break under the tarpaulin.... Great. For the kids: great swimming pool with large indoor water playground, indoors a bit small and not much to play in, playgrounds scattered around the site. Outdoor water playground open in summer. Small store on site for the essentials. Restaurant DOK very good and nice place with fireplace for a cozy coffee. Beach a short walk away. Renesse around the corner. Staff always friendly and helpful. Cleanliness was always good, but there are always piglets in the wash house, it's not the site's fault.

The site is clean and well-kept, the staff are all friendly, the sanitary facilities are excellent and clean. There are only 2 hooks in the showers, not enough in the cold season. A hook on the outside of the door for thick jackets would not be bad. There is also no shelf for shower gel and shampoo.... There is a soap dispenser, but I would like to use my own. There is absolutely no place to hang a towel at the washbasin. The store has the bare essentials. We would have liked to stay longer but unfortunately you can't get gas here. We are here with our camper van and awning. We have to dismantle everything before we can leave. We do our normal shopping by bike, but we don't want to transport an 11 kg gas bottle that way. Too bad we would have liked to come in winter.

For the fourth and last time at Zeeuwse Kust! The pitches, despite well thought-out artificial grass for "dry standing", are surrounded by poorly maintained grass, a single muddy mess with puddles because the water doesn't run off. WLAN very poor coverage, except in the wash house and restaurant area!... TV cable connection, no reception! In the really very nice and new wash house, which is equipped with great comforts such as dishwashers and fully automatic coffee machines, kids and teens romp around "surfing" or "gaming". The pollution caused by carelessly discarded paper cups and sugar sachets, despite the presence of garbage cans and the use of scooters in this area, is of course not the fault of the campsite operator, but rather due to a lack of understanding. The dirty sanitary facilities are also brought into this state by the users! The floors in the swimming pool should also be cleaned occasionally! It's really a pity, because the entire Strandpark Zeeuwse Kust complex is really very tastefully laid out, but unfortunately it's not well maintained! ...perhaps, despite the fall vacations and full occupancy, the season has already ended and the staff has been reduced accordingly? From 2020, no more ACSI card discount!

No longer what it used to be
Unfortunately, the place has declined in the five years we have been there every fall. The campsite seems to be very focused on hotel guests. We were there in the fall vacations and the campsite was fully booked. The swimming pool cannot cope with the crowds, the wet areas get dirty very quickly and... the hot water in the showers is not enough for everyone. The water temperature in the toddler area is simply too cold, I estimate less than 20 degrees. The staff in the snack bar are overwhelmed and simply can't keep up with the volume of orders. Cocktails are listed at the bar but refused to the guest due to the rush. We used a comfort pitch with its own sanitary facilities, always the same one for five years. The socket in the outside area has been defective since our first stay, and we reported the defect every time we left. Also, the bathroom was not cleaned on arrival at 2pm, we had to wait until 5pm until it was ready for us to use. The cleaning consisted of a bucket of water being poured into the cabin and the water being drained off. Some of the pitches have a massive rainwater problem. Unfortunately, neither the manager himself nor the ladies at reception were particularly interested. OT manager: "After all, the employees of the campsite want a vacation too." When we found out that the site was going to cost us a whopping 200 euros more for a week next year, we finally decided to avoid it. What a shame! Camping cards will no longer be accepted from 2020.
