- Thomas T.December 2024Positive tingLarge pitches, great wash house, friendly staff, restaurantNegative tingSki bus necessary (if you want to see it as a disadvantage); ski drying room too small for the number of guestsNew Year's Eve 24/25It was our first time at Camping Schlossberg and we really liked it. Super friendly staff who are always ready for a quick chat. We were there with 2 families and were accompanied directly to our pitches. The best set-up and orientation with regard to the sun was briefly explained. Check-in could be... done relaxed after the set-up.
We knew that we had to take the ski bus to the ski area (Hopfgarten). But even that was totally relaxed. The first stop is the Schlossberg, so the bus is empty in the morning.
The wash area is mixed with various individual cabins (shower and washbasin; shower, washbasin and WC; or just wash corners), separate toilet rooms for men and women were clean at all times.
Basically, we were completely satisfied.Automatisk oversatt. - Petra A.November 2024Positive tingVery quiet, ski bus directly in front of the campsite, large shower cubicles, great for familiesNegative tingNo store in the immediate vicinityCamping Itter WinterThe campsite is beautifully laid out, there is plenty of space and there is also a ski and boot room.
There is also a room where you can dry wet clothes
The sanitary area is very spacious, the separate shower cubicles are very large, well suited for families
Everything was clean and niceAutomatisk oversatt. - Falko F.October 2024Positive tingLocation and friendlinessNegative tingMinishop could have more choiceVery nice, child-friendly place in a good locationOur children really like the great, huge playground.
Perfect location for excursions and skiing on the Wilder Kaiser. Conveniently located but still quiet due to the terraced location. Nice swimming pool in summer.
We are happy guests here in the winter months and were also delighted in the summer.
Ski equipment leaves from the front door.
Monika always has an open ear and the boss Thomas always asks if everything is OK!Automatisk oversatt.
Leuk uitzicht.
Honden welkom.

- Caroline L.October 2024Positive tingEverything is very clean and you feel very welcome right from the start. large sauna house to rent for yourself from 2 people. top!Negative tingWe missed the Tyrolean cuisine in the restaurant.Great camping vacationsExcept for the lack of Tyrolean cuisine in the restaurant, we found the campsite with all the trimmings to be TOP.is absolutely recommendable.👌👍Automatisk oversatt.
- Pia & Claus D.September 2024Positive tingThe campsite was very nice all round. Great pool, nice pitches, sanitary facilities very clean and well maintained. Nice music while showering. There is a wonderful playground for children. The manager and the staff were very nice, helpful and very accommodating. You felt really well looked after.Negative tingThe only thing I didn't like were the Ikea shower heads, the water had no pressure behind them, for women with longer hair it was difficult to wash. And what I missed, we had a rental bathroom, e.g. a towel rail for the shower towels. That would be great, something like that is still missing. We didn't really like the food on offer in the restaurant, we would have liked more Austrian cuisine.Vacation September 2024Our vacation was planned for longer, but unfortunately we had to leave due to the weather. Monika was very accommodating. We were able to leave earlier even though we had booked the pitch. A very nice and beautifully situated campsite. We will definitely be back.Automatisk oversatt.
- Jürgen R.September 2024Positive tingWe really liked the pitch, the sauna, the friendliness of the staffNegative tingThe range in the Mnimarkt could be a little better.Fall vacationVery nice campsite, we were on site in fall, we can well imagine to go on vacation here in the summer.
LG Reinländer familyAutomatisk oversatt. - Olaf K.September 2024Positive tingLocation, nature and area.Negative tingSomewhat noisy due to short distance to the main road.Gladly again! Our stay at the campsite was short-lived as we were just passing through.
The site is beautifully situated. Laid out in terraces with plenty of space for caravans and vehicles. Due to its proximity to the main road, it is an ideal starting point for hikes on foot or by bike.
The sanitary facilities were always found to be clean. The upper bathhouse is very nice, the lower rooms are a bit outdated.
The staff were nice and friendly.Automatisk oversatt. - Bernd S.September 2024Positive tingFriendliness of the entire staff Course facilities and equipment Despite a lot of heavy rain: the ground swallowed the waterNegative tingWeather with snow in September: but it's not the course's faultWe come back again and againFrom reception (Monika) to the site workers, all the staff were very, very friendly and helpful.
Pitch spacious and reasonably "dry" despite bad weather.
Good opportunities to walk the dog.
Endless excursion possibilities within easy driving distance.
And there are good inns to stop off at everywhere....
Our personal highlights were Hall, Kelchsautal with Almabtrieb and Fuchswirt, Speicher Schlegeis in Zillertal, Wildschönau with Thalmühle, Breznsuppn and Schönangeralm, Alpbachtal and of course Camping Schlossberg itself with its peaceful atmosphere. You can get everything you need to live in Hopfgarten or Wörgl: both are easy and quick to reach. And of course the Tirolmilch cheese dairy is practically on the doorstep.Automatisk oversatt. - Andree B.September 2024Positive tingAll good as alwaysNegative tingNoneRatingEverything good as always, sanitary fittings could be renewed everything nice and cleanAutomatisk oversatt.
- Agnes D.September 2024Positive tingFamily-run campsite, not too big, unisex "wash house" with large cabins with shower and washbasinNegative tingToilets and washroom a bit outdated, a bit noisy due to the proximity to the street and trainNice family campsiteWe felt very comfortable. Will definitely come again. Very nice hiking area in the immediate vicinity. Hike starts directly at the campsiteAutomatisk oversatt.
- Eva W.September 2024Positive ting- clean - Friendly staff - Great washing and shower facilities - child friendly - Playground - Good poolNegative tingThere are none except if someone is bothered by the train line nearbySuperIt was a great stay as a family. The playground and the whole complex are in top condition, clean and well maintained. We always felt our children were safe and in good hands. The washroom is a dream, beautiful shower cubicles that are sparkling clean. The friendly staff deserve special mention. You don't have to pre-order bread rolls, just pick them up early from the kiosk. Price performance was top!Automatisk oversatt.
- Sebastian W.August 2024Positive tingNice place with great pitches and super nice staff!Negative tingBusy main road at peak times.Very nice campsite 👌🏻We have been coming here to camp for several years. In summer and winter. There are pitches in every size and location. Whether right next to the pool or on the terrace. There is a great playground for kids or a youth room for older children.
You always receive a warm welcome here. The campsite is very centrally located, so you can easily start your activities from here.Automatisk oversatt. - Pierre C.August 2024Positive tingAway from the noise and pollution of the cities, camping is synonymous with relaxation and tranquillity. You can indulge in relaxing activities such as reading, meditation or simply observing nature.Negative tingCamping is an activity strongly linked to weather conditions. An abondant rain, wind or excessive heat can make your stay less pleasant. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth by a very professional and attentive team,... ready to answer all our questions and make our stay a memorable one.
The facilities are impeccable and well maintained: modern sanitary facilities, spacious showers and play areas for children. Each location is soigneusement délimité, offering thus de l'intimité et une tranquillité précieuse. We particularly appreciated the facilities for camping cars and caravans, which are practical and well thought out.
The activities on offer in the surrounding area are varied and suitable for all ages. Hiking, cycling, winter sports in season, or even exploring the charming villages along the way - there's something to do for everyone. And if we wanted to relax, the heated swimming pool at the campsite was a real source of relaxation. Plus, the proximity to the ski stations is a real plus for skiing enthusiasts!
The atmosphere on the campsite is convivial and the other campers, many of them residents, help to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Finally, the quality/price ratio is excellent. We had the feeling of benefiting from top quality services at a very reasonable price.
In short, Camping Schlossberg Itter is a destination of choice for nature lovers and families looking for comfort and relaxation. We return with great pleasure for a new adventure !Automatisk oversatt. - Christian R.August 2024Positive tingFor us, the great playground and the connection to the mountain railroads is clearly a big advantageNegative ting-A perfect place to camp close to the mountainsThis was our second time at the campsite and certainly not the last.
Our kids really like it here and the public transport links are excellent.
You don't necessarily need your own camper.
The nearest town is about half an hour's walk away and there are plenty of places to eat out.
The bus leaves directly... at the entrance to the campsite and goes to the surrounding tourist resorts.
There is also a restaurant on the campsite.
You can get fresh bread rolls etc. for breakfast at the restaurant.Automatisk oversatt. - Isabell L.August 2024Positive tingGreat, huge playground. Very clean. Beautiful area.Negative tingDirectly on the main road. More paths between the squares would be nice. And a path directly from Camingpatz to the river would be great.Beautiful summer vacationThe campsite is very clean and the playground has been lovingly designed. All the staff are always very friendly and helpful. You can buy fresh bread rolls in the morning, but there is no small store on the site.
All in all, we had a very nice vacation and will definitely be back.Automatisk oversatt. - Karl und Jutta S.August 2024Positive tingGood accessibility. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good value for money.Negative tingnoneWinter and summer 2024Overall great campsite, good central yet quiet location, good public transport connections,
very friendly and helpful staffAutomatisk oversatt. - Jesko B.August 2024Positive tingVery friendly welcome, great locationNegative tingRestaurantVery nice campsiteThe reception was very friendly. We were shown the entire site by an employee and the pitch was also very nice.
Unfortunately, we arrived relatively late (not as planned) and only used this site as a stopover from our vacation in Croatia, so we can't say much about the individual activities.
BUT: In... the evening, we wanted to eat in the campsite restaurant and were looking forward to it after an exhausting drive. There was a power cut at first, which automatically made things a little more hectic. Nobody could help that and after a short time, the lights came back on... However, we have very negative memories of the subsequent treatment: After we were allowed to sit down at a table, we were told that card payment was generally not possible. However, the employee suggested that we could leave a driver's license and pay the next day, which we were relieved to accept. Unfortunately, nobody served us afterwards! We weren't even offered the chance to order drinks (we could even have paid for them in cash ;-)). We also observed how guests arriving after us were served immediately. After just under half an hour (the children (aged 3 and 5) were getting restless), we decided to drive to McDonald's nearby. To do this, we had to get the camper, which was already prepared for the overnight stay, ready to drive. Unfortunately, this part was not very hospitable...Automatisk oversatt.
