5 stars for the great location and the friendly and helpful owner. Simply pure nature, peace and quiet and the relaxed, family atmosphere

Not a disadvantage, but a factual observation: Sanitary facilities are somewhat nostalgic and could therefore be optimized. The cleanliness was absolutely fine.
Simply a wonderful place with no frills
Spontaneously turned off the Rv 172 and discovered a small, family-run campsite where you can feel at home. Families, couples and single travelers can experience Dalsland at its best here and explore the islands and Lake Västra Silen by kayak, canoe or motorboat or simply swim in the lake. Good fishing... opportunities. The campsite has no WLAN.
However, you can check your emails or finances at Lanthandel ICA in Gustafsfors, 5 km away, with free WiFi, where you can also do your shopping. Worthwhile excursion destinations in the area include Häverud, Bengtsfors, Arjäng or border shopping in Töcksfors. But you can also stay on the campsite for a week. Not perfect, but perhaps that's why it's such a lovely campsite for a stay in Dalsland. We'd love to come back.

Popular place
The location makes it a great starting point for paddling. The reception also speaks German. There are quite a few Germans there. Some probably meet there often. Can be done..... but still a nice place. Due to the returners, you should reserve the water and places in the upper edge online or by phone. First come, first served 😉. Shopping is possible in the surrounding villages.

Wonderful campsite
Very nice location on the lake. Ideal for tours across the lake in a kayak, or simply to enjoy nature.

Wonderful vacation spot
Super location on the lake, starting point for fishing and canoe trips. Quiet. Very friendly and helpful staff. Simple, perhaps a little too few but always very clean sanitary facilities. Shower 10 crowns, but enough for half the family. Baker comes in the morning and sells (very expensive) fresh bread... rolls. Otherwise no catering on site. Supermarket about 8 km away. Attractive rental accommodation. Several fireplaces. Good value, with a lot of discount and payment on account after the vacation - we have never experienced this before. Suitable for water hikers, as well as for large caravans with double axles.

Absolute peace and quiet
Very nice small, quiet campsite
We were there for 1 1/2 weeks at the beginning of June, absolutely quiet - as there is no road far and wide. The campsite is very clean, small sanitary facilities but very clean, it was cleaned twice a day. Everything that has to do with water, you can do there, since the next place is about 6km away, you should already have everything with you, or look what you buy beforehand.
