- Steffi D.July 2023Positive tingFriendliness of the groundsman, value for money, plenty of space, quiet, lots of opportunities for childrenNegative tingNoneQuiet, nice campsite with lots of natureWe received a very nice and relaxed welcome from the groundsman, who was very helpful and attentive, and also gave us tips on planning mountain tours, etc. We were able to choose our pitch. We were able to choose our pitch, there is plenty of space and no parcelling out. For children there are ketcars,... a pool with a slide, a games room, a covered trampoline, table tennis, table football, animals to pet, etc. The showers and washbasins are included and very nice and warm. There is a bread roll service on site and there is a supermarket in the village. A very nice lido with a slide is within walking distance, as is a pump track. The price-performance ratio is unbeatable. There are numerous excursion possibilities.Automatisk oversatt.
- Hans R.June 2023Positive tingVery quiet and nice, clean facilityNegative tingEverything fittedWith the mobile home at MarhofWe will be back, it was a very pleasant stay. There are lots of things to do there.Automatisk oversatt.
- Alexander K.August 2019Positive tingGreat for children Good price-performance ratio Stopover from/to IT and HRNegative tingUnisex toilets (men and women had to share toilets)Great place for an overnight stopover to/from IT or HRWe (2 adults, 4 children 8/8/6/6) were here for 2 nights with WW. The approach is a little difficult as the last 1000m are relatively narrow. The site itself has a lot to offer for children. Pool (unheated) with slide, professional trampolines, pedal go-karts, animals (rabbits, goats, sheep, chickens) to touch. The pitches were very spacious. Washing/rinsing area was acceptable. Lake Faak is easy to reach by bike.Automatisk oversatt.
- Roswitha R.June 2019Positive tingRestNegative tingExtremely narrow road to get thereFor those seeking peace and quietFrom the main road, whether by satnav or signs, very narrow and sometimes steep little road to the site, hardly any alternative options. Sanitary building reasonably clean, one toilet in the ladies' showers, otherwise shared toilets for both sexes. Pool more of a paddling pool for children. Bread roll... service and drinks (soda, beer, water) on site. According to the notice, from 2 nights for caravans and 2 people should cost € 16, we paid € 45 for nights, whereby electricity is read separately, we should probably have had 4 kW.Automatisk oversatt.
- Richard W.June 2019Positive tingVery quiet, great service, optimal price-performance ratioGreat and quiet placeI was at the Wiesencamping Marhof on 25-27.06.19. I received a very friendly welcome and immediately felt at home. The site is extremely quiet and everything you need is available. The showers and toilets are clean. The small pool is absolutely great and well maintained, enough for a quick dip. I will definitely come back again. Best regards Jasmin and RichardAutomatisk oversatt.
- Frank D.August 2017Positive tingVery quiet location No animation Great play equipment for children Also ideal for an overnight stay, as it is close to the highway Reasonably pricedNegative tingNone for us.Oasis of peace in the countryside and yet not far from Lake FaakSimple campsite, nice spacious pitches on grass, some under trees. Not parceled out, water is only available at the wash house, toilets are "unisex", showers and wash basins are separated by gender. Showers are quite new (max. 1-2 years), the rest is a bit older, but everything works. There is soap and... paper towels in the toilets - our wash house at a 5-star CP in Italy didn't have that. There is no noise or hustle and bustle, the children keep themselves wonderfully occupied thanks to the abundance of Kettcars, bicycles, trampolines etc. It should also be emphasized that the operator has invested properly in the above-mentioned play equipment and has not put in the usual discounter/ DIY store "junk". There is also a small pool with a slide. The site is also so small and clearly laid out that the children quickly make contact. The atmosphere is very relaxed and you can really unwind. The surrounding area offers lots of outdoor activities, and the manager can give you good tips - just ask. The village with supermarket, lido and restaurants is only a 10-minute walk away. Bread roll service by the boss directly on site. We had a wonderful time there, the simple infrastructure was more than enough for us and, last but not least, the reasonable price will certainly ensure that we come back when we are in the region again or passing through on our way south. Please note: don't follow the satnav, but follow the signs. Be careful in the village (it feels like the highest density of speed cameras in Austria...).Automatisk oversatt.
- Urs M.July 2017Positive ting-Rest -Petting zoo & playground -NatureNegative ting-Only cash payment possible, no cardsCamping in the countrysideCamping right next to the farm. Unparceled pitches between the fruit trees, i.e. the ripe apples fall right at your feet. Very friendly and helpful operator. Modern and clean sanitary facilities. Swimming pool with slide on site. In the evening there was a free tractor ride for the little ones. Animals to stroke also on site. Wonderful peace and quiet and close to Lake Faak.Automatisk oversatt.
- Marco L.July 2017Positive tingQuietly situated in the countrysideNegative tingNarrow access roadSmall square in the countrysideVery nice little place near the Faaker See. Very friendly, also ideal for an overnight stay when passing through to the south. Unfortunately, the access road is a bit narrow and you have to hope that no one comes towards you. The sanitary facilities are nicely done. There is a small swimming pool and play equipment for children as well as a large trampoline.Automatisk oversatt.
- Jürgen T.June 2017Positive tingFriendly staffNegative tingNoneFor the trip to the southSuper playground and swimming pool everything there for the children Quiet location. We also had an overnight stay in the guesthouse there and were also satisfiedAutomatisk oversatt.
- karl-heinz S.July 2016Positive tingquiet and conveniently locatedQuiet and beautiful locationThe site is in a very quiet location with a wonderful view of the mountains. It is conveniently located for a trip to Velden or Klagenfurt. The pitches are very large, all meadow pitches.Automatisk oversatt.
- Sebastian H.June 2016Nice little placeNice little place, although meadow is actually more accurate ;) Shady spots available. The pitch and sanitary facilities were clean.Automatisk oversatt.
- Johann Dieter W.August 2015Positive tingMeadow place , Peace , PriceNegative tingThere are many if you are spoiled and there aren't many if you don't take it so seriously.WellWe (couple with two dogs) were on this site in August. As a transit site on the way to the south it is quite ok, the sanitary facilities are very outdated and the cleanliness is ,, well,, just about ok. Power cables should not be too short and there is no water on site. However, the price-performance ratio is ok and makes up for a lot.Automatisk oversatt.
- Heinz S.September 2013Positive tingQuiet place.Negative tingIf you're looking for animation and action, you've come to the wrong place.Quiet campsite in beautiful natural surroundingsThe site is in its natural state on a large meadow. There are no permanent campers. The pitches are not parceled out but there is plenty of space.Automatisk oversatt.
