Very well-kept, clean campsite under pine trees and pines, surrounded by vineyards and beautiful bays. Saint-Tropez can be reached by bike via good cycle paths in 30 minutes.Negative tingThe evening program is unfortunately an imposition due to the volume. Even in the restaurant it was very annoying. This beautiful place does not need that. Shopping below the campsite (approx. 500m) is very expensive. You have to drive about 30 minutes to the next town. We didn't like the beach at Ramatuelle that much. Note for the journey from Aix (A8): Take the exit to Saint-Tropez (approx. 20km and 10min more) and not the one before, which the sat nav suggests. It didn't look like it either, because there was supposed to be a ring swap - so you probably... get an occupancy rate of over 100%. At least we were able to get another pitch at the reception without any red tape. There was still a view of the vineyards, but unfortunately also the noise of the young staff: loud music, lively discussions, during breaks and often after work from midnight. In addition, the sound from the evening program: up to 71 db at our pitch EU 29 - unfortunately you never hear circuses like that. We saw too much garbage and unkempt corners for a 5* pitch - we found that the seasonal staff didn't seem very committed. We chose one quite high up. Great view! However, the upper pitches are not suitable for larger motorhomes due to the sometimes tight bends and inclines. Far enough away from the evening music in the entrance area. The sanitary blocks are cleaned several times a day. The restaurant on site offers a varied menu with a moderate price level for the region. It takes about 30 minutes to get to the beach. A bicycle is helpful and can be rented on site. The supermarket, which is within walking distance, is the only shopping option, but offers a wide range of products and, above all, fresh vegetables.Negative tingThe network of paths is confusing due to the terraced pitches and steep paths. We liked the location of the site, including the view of the sea from the vineyard. We only used the train to the beach... once. Otherwise, we liked going to the smaller bays and to Pampelonne Beach. We really liked the town of Ramatuelle with its weekly market.
It certainly wasn't the last time we were here.

Very lively campsite. We hardly noticed anything of the animation halfway up. But it's the guests themselves... who make a lot of noise. Children screaming from the early hours of the morning until late in the evening, nobody makes sure it's quiet, apparently the parents have no sense of how loud and annoying this constant fuss can be. We have children ourselves and you can be considerate of other guests seeking peace and quiet. Then there is the barking of dogs and the rattling of engines. But this has nothing to do with the campsite itself, it's just extremely noticeable there. Another "disadvantage" is that all activities in the area involve physical exertion, unless you take the car every time. The site is located on a hill and it is very steeply uphill, which means that there is a lot of traffic on the site because it is too strenuous for some people to move around on foot or by bike.
Corona regulations were limited. The pool area, for example, was mercilessly overcrowded, of course no masks at the pool. Beautifully situated in a pine forest with lots of shade. Accordingly, there are loud/quiet and small/large pitches. Unfortunately, we couldn't choose the exact pitch when we booked, which is sometimes reassuring with a caravan of just... under 8m and 2.50m wide. Nevertheless, the pitch on arrival was great! In the evening, the music from the entertainment can be heard more on some pitches than on others. You are centrally located, shopping market 5 min, Saint Tropez 7 min and Pampelone Plage 10 min on foot. The beach of Pampelone was unfortunately rebuilt in 2018/2019 and many long-established restaurants were evicted. The new concessions have been given to hoteliers from Staint Tropez. There are now only new-build clubs with chilled food. Just like everywhere else in the world on famous beaches. But the beautiful area has so many beaches to offer that there is no shortage of alternatives. The food supply (nearby SPAR which also belongs to the... campsite owners) is good but expensive. The wash houses are unfortunately dirty in the evening and need to be cleaned again. The helicopters that constantly fly over the site are quite annoying. However, it is probably standard in the region to be flown over for lunch. The beach is easily accessible but overrated and overcrowded. Unfortunately only cleaned at the end of May. Unfortunately, I can't recommend the restaurant either. Bei dem Versuch einen schönen Stellplatz Ende März zu finden, waren die Mitarbeiter auch nicht sonderlich hilfreich. Man bekam einen Plan in die Hand ... schaut wo ihr hinwollt, dann kommt wieder und wir sagen ob etwas frei ist ... es war natürlich nichts frei. Auch zusagen von Yellow, dass der Pool zu dem Zeitpunkt geöffnet und auf 27 °C geheizt sei, stellten sich als nicht wahr heraus. Reaktion der Mitarbeiter: Achselzucken. Fazit: Nichts für echte Camper.

The upper pitches have a fantastic view, but they are rather difficult to access with a trailer. The lower pitches, however, are very easy to access with plenty... of space. Very friendly staff who were always helpful. The Spar supermarket nearby is very expensive. However, you can also go shopping by car in the direction of Saint Tropez, which is good and cheaper. Really great pool area with slides, counter-current system, free loungers and palm trees. There's a nice restaurant on site and you can also get pizza in the evening from a stand. In the morning there are croissants and baguettes (very tasty). The spa looked good and had to be paid for separately. The beach was about 3 km away through vineyards. The team is very friendly, speaks German and English and the sanitary facilities were always very clean and well maintained. The supermarket is not directly on the campsite, but can be reached on foot in about 10 minutes. However,... the prices are outrageous (30 euros per kg of meat, five euros for four slices of cooked ham, mozzarella for 1.79 euros). That really is extortionate! If you go to a "normal" supermarket in the next town, the prices are better, but France is simply expensive. The swimming pool is just great - our children had a great time there. The site was about a third full and everything was okay. But I find it hard to judge what it's like in the high season. Even now there was already a long queue to get a baguette in the morning... The sea was too far away for me. I can't imagine walking for half an hour in summer when it's over 30 degrees with three children.Automatisk oversatt.

The pitches are beautifully laid out on a slope in the forest and are large enough. In the low season, the site was not very busy and pleasantly quiet. The swimming pool is very nice and is suitable for both swimming and relaxing. The water... is pleasantly warm. Aquagym takes place here every day except Sundays, which was great fun. The sanitary facilities were very clean and were cleaned regularly. A small sports program is also offered in the low season. The staff at reception, the restaurant, the info point and the entertainment team were very friendly and helpful and some spoke very good German. The sandy beach is about 20 minutes' walk from the campsite. The coastal path is great for walking and jogging. The area offers some interesting excursion destinations. A visit to the turtle village in Gonfaron and a boat trip from Cavalaire to Port Cros were particularly interesting. On a negative note, there are no parking spaces for motorhomes in many towns due to height restrictions; we therefore had to drive home from Port Grimaud without a parking space.
