Arrive and feel at home, the view of the mountains is fantastic, the site is very central, everything is within walking distance, shopping, eating out, bus etc. The morning bread roll service is a great bonus.NegatywneNo disadvantagesRelaxing winter vacationFrom 25.12.23 - 04.01.24 we were allowed to be guests at the campsite, which we had spontaneously requested. Even on the phone, the boss Sepp impressed us with his friendly, warm manner. I have rarely experienced such a dedicated boss, no matter what questions or requests we had, everything was made... possible. The site was very well maintained and the sanitary facilities were always kept tidy and clean. We were also impressed by the small but excellent wellness area with its 4 saunas. The campsite is also well located for winter sports enthusiasts, with the Nassfeld ski area around 25 minutes away and the 3 Zinnen ski area 45 km away.
We can recommend this campsite without reservation. A big thank you to Sepp and his team. We will definitely be back again.

Thank you very much for the hospitality at your campsite. I felt very welcome and completely at ease and didn't miss a thing.
Everyone, including your staff, is super nice and helpful and always available.
If I don't write anything about some of the detailed reviews, it's only because I simply... didn't make use of them.
I can also only speak as a camper or 'car sleeper'.
The pitches are very spacious, you don't feel squeezed in at all. Great, soft grass, everything is flat and there are beautiful old trees.
The fact that the large mobile homes are separate is also very pleasant. So you always have a nice view of the mountains and the greenery in general.
The cosequently implemented sustainable concept is great! I've never found waste separation so easy.
If you don't feel at home here, you can't do anything right.

All we have to say about "boss Sepp" is that we have rarely met such a committed and helpful person, nothing was too much for him,... we got great tips every day for hikes or bike tours, and we would also like to praise his entire team.
The campsite is very well maintained, the showers and toilets were always clean and tidy, nothing was missing.
We can only recommend this place with a clear and honest conscience and wish Sepp and his team all the best, keep up the good work.

We were able to spend a week in Kötschach with Sepp. Although there were only a few campers there in the low season, we were able to enjoy a fabulously friendly service. The enormous friendliness we encountered there in the beautiful Carinthian mountains was truly... outstanding. We liked the extensive information about the area, all the leisure activities, the bread roll service in the morning, the advice on the culinary possibilities and the great wellness facilities available such as sauna, massages, etc. We were very pleased. For us, this place clearly belongs in 1st place of all the places we have visited so far. What's more, for us as dog owners, the surroundings are extremely beautiful and varied. In just a few minutes you are in the middle of a wonderful recreational and hiking area with water, mountains and meadows. The cleanliness on the site and in the sanitary facilities was exemplary. All services such as restaurant reservations, massage appointments, electric car reservations, etc. can be made directly and easily at the campsite office. Very practical. We can recommend this campsite without reservation. And we will come back to Kötschach at the next opportunity. Welcome drink, a glass of natural apple juice. All rooms well heated, drying and ski room locked from 6 pm and can be opened with a chip card. The so-called "ecological footprint" is consistently pursued and implemented. We find no points of criticism, not even constructive ones, and wish the owners and the entire team continued success and vigor in pursuing the goals they have set themselves. Constructive criticism is our incentive to constantly improve. As we have already been made aware of your perception and the associated criticism by several guests and these guests were unable to understand your criticism, we would now like to respond to your review.
It is clearly communicated... on our website and in our brochures that we do not have a swimming pool on the campsite, but that our guests can use the Aquarena, which is about 10 minutes' walk away, at a special rate. The special rate is € 2.50 per person per entry (normal price € 9.70). Our sanitary facilities are no longer brand new, but if you look at the hundreds of reviews on various platforms, hygiene and perfectly cleaned sanitary facilities are cited as one of our top-rated details.
The ratio "guests : number of toilets + showers" required by the ADAC is also at 4-star level. If you spent your vacation with us in the absolute high season in summer 2021, then I have to agree with you that the Alpencamp and most of our colleagues were fully booked due to the high demand. However, it is understandable for most guests that there can be short waiting times for the RUSHHOURS in such times (you sometimes have to wait a little at the checkout in the supermarket).
It can also happen that a larger camper has reserved the neighboring pitch. However, as we do not create ghettos on our campsite, there is no separation of vehicles or nationalities and the size of our pitches varies between 65 and 135 m².
As the Alpencamp has a clear profile with its identity and its offer, we are of course not a campsite for everyone. We are therefore very sorry that we were unable to meet your requirements.
