- Anja L.July 2023PozytywneGreat house (Haus Weidengrund) Nice people, all very helpful Beautiful beach with lots of stones for the kids to play onNegatywneToo many stones on the beach, you shouldn't go into the Baltic Sea without water shoesAlways greatGreat well-kept clean place.
Nice house, clean and everything you need. Friendly and helpful people.
Stony but still beautiful, clean beach
Great playground, clean toilet facilities, nice leisure activities (children's party, live music)
Conclusion: We would love to come back!Przetłumaczone automatycznie. - Kai P.September 2022Pozytywnequiet location modern sanitary facilities short distances super nice staffNegatywneThe gravel driveways could do with some work, some of them are very uneven and have potholes and puddles. The outdoor washing-up area is great, but it would be nice if it were covered, as it rains here more often 😉.A beautiful campsite right on the waterIt's a nice quiet little campsite right on the water.
The beach is very stony in this section, but in no way to be described as negative.
Operators are super nice and offered a nice program with live music on both evenings.
There are fresh bread rolls in the morning.
Unfortunately, we only have to criticize... that the sanitary facilities were not very clean, especially in the morning, but we don't want to blame the operator and his team for that. There are a lot of "alternative campers", as I like to call them, on the site 😉 and I have to say that the gentlemen of creation don't seem to think it's necessary to remove their freshly shaved beard hair. It can't be too much to ask to rinse the sink once after washing.
Apart from that, it was a very nice weekend trip.Przetłumaczone automatycznie. - Michael A.April 2022PozytywneThe location is very close to the beach. The interaction with the operators and the guests is absolutely harmonious. The Strandräuber (pub, restaurant) is great. The store sells organic products. There are wonderful circus wagons to hire and marvel at. Anyone who likes liveliness and verbal and musical exchange will love this place! Very good marketing concept!!! and very good staff!NegatywneNone, unless you are bothered by an older sanitary building that is spotlessly clean. Those who like it more modern and warmer can switch to the new sanitary building, where there are two new toilets and showers!Unusual place with plenty of atmosphereI was very impressed with the place and the interesting people I could meet here. I enjoyed every minute and will be back!Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Sandra B.July 2021PozytywneThe proximity to the beach, that the place is so different,Negatywne%%%% There was nothing we didn't likePeace, relaxation and pure natureThe proximity to the beach and the camping style are unique and beautiful. It is not a site like any other. There is no luxury here, but plenty of space for families, individualists and free thinkers. This site is something very special. The kiosk is an organic market, the beach bar has excellent cuisine,... all organic, plenty for vegetarians and vegans. Healthy and close to nature, just like the campsite itself. No permanent campers with garden gnomes, no mainstream. It was very hard to say goodbye.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Thomas M.May 2021PozytywneVery cozy little place without big frills. Very nice and friendly staff. The sanitary areas are very tidy and clean. We'd stay here again any time. The store is small but well stocked and the restaurant in the campsite is very appealing.NegatywneNo disadvantages to be found. Grumblers always find something.Very nice placeIt was a very nice and relaxing stay. You could really switch off, wind down and enjoy the peace and quiet.....
Nothing more needs to be writtenPrzetłumaczone automatycznie. - Eugen C.May 2021PozytywneSpacious pitches, direct access to the sea, friendly operators, peace and quiet, child-friendly, dogs allowedNegatywneThe free WLAN is still in need of improvementFeel-good placeThere were two of us with two dogs in the motorhome, despite the moderate weather we didn't get bored, the pitches are spacious, friendly operators also in the bistro and the small organic food store with bread service (very tasty). It's worth browsing the site's website for tips on the surrounding area. We will definitely be back!Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Monika D.June 2020PozytywneDirect location on the Baltic Sea.NegatywneRather small pitches. Noisy (restless), sanitary facilities ok but not new.Relaxed campsite right by the seaOverall, we liked the campsite, especially the pitch with a direct view of the sea.
The sanitary facilities were clean, but rather old.
It was quite noisy as many small children were active until late at night and early in the morning.
WLAN only in the reception area. Store offer manageable (but good selection of bread rolls to pre-order), the cafe was unfortunately still closed (low season).Przetłumaczone automatycznie. - Ulf S.July 2019PozytywneClose to the beach, nice team, great fish restaurant around the corner, bread roll serviceNegatywneCleanliness rental property, stone beach, quite noisy (screaming, not only from children.House "Weidengrund"We rented the house "Weidengrund" at Camp Langholz for 2 weeks. We were impressed that you can also rent houses directly on the beach at a campsite. However, the vacation started with cleaning. The previous tenants probably had a dog and that's how the house looked. Dog hair and sand everywhere, totally... unkempt. We also had a dog, but our house was dog hair free. If I as the operator offer that you can do the final cleaning yourself, this should also be done correctly, especially if there are animals with you. Of course, the operator is also obliged to check and rework this. If all rental properties are vacant on the same day, you may also have to hire people to clean or check the rental properties. I first read after booking that the house was partially renovated. But it was. The living/dining room was ok. The fireplace was a blast and the only source of heat besides a radiator. The kitchen was a farce. The cupboards were almost falling apart and were past their best. The bathroom was also so-so. Too small for 2 men. The bed is not very stable in the small room. The other beds were fine. The bunk beds and the bed from the small room have had their best days. The outdoor area was partly unkempt and the terraces were also a little unkempt, but nice. The parking space for the car can only be reached via a gravel road with some large potholes, but the parking space was great. The path to the beach is short but unfortunately it is very stony, so no sunbathing beach and even in the water there were sometimes quite large stones. So you had to walk to the dog beach or take the car to other parts of the beach. The surrounding area is great (Eckernförde, Kappeln, Damp etc.). For the money we paid, we would have expected more in terms of the house and the campsite. The operator was obliging and waived the final cleaning fee, even though we still had to clean. Because we don't like leaving something dirty and not receiving anything dirty. The kiosk and snack bar were ok. Ordering service for bread rolls was great. The fact that we didn't have WiFi in the house wasn't great but it was bearable. The operator was also very keen to please us. Defective LNB was changed the next day, defective terrace chairs were replaced. We wish the campsite team all the best and hope that it will soon look the way they want it to.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Eberhard W.June 2019PozytywneRight on the water, friendly, unbeatable price, everything you need available.NegatywneThe distance to the shops, but that's not the site's fault. Wifi would be desirable on the whole site.Great place, brilliant location, unbeatable priceAfter the cleanliness was criticized here. We were here in June 2019 and it was always clean. The operators want a new concept. -You can take note of this in advance, then you also know that it sometimes goes longer in the evening. We're certainly not the kind of people who party late. It didn't bother us. The location is unbeatable. Of course, there can always be more. We were very satisfied and will definitely be backPrzetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Werner Z.June 2019PozytywneThe location directly on the water Dog beach in the immediate vicinity Great fish restaurant directly at the CPNegatywneRestless place, Dogs running free despite compulsory leash, Permission for campfires between the caravans and parties until "open end".We were disappointedShowers and sanitary area in serious need of renovation and dirty. Even the sign on the wash house didn't help. The sign said: Museum toilets from the 50s and 60s ........ The CP website promises more than is offered on site.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Christian B.April 2019PozytywneNice atmosphere, harmonious overall picture, natural surroundingsNegatywneif anything, the sanitary facilities and the relatively small pitchesHippie Hippie YeahWe chose this beautiful campsite for our "ancamping" in 2019. The journey from Hamburg is manageable and the site is pleasantly different. This difference is absolutely intentional and perhaps a little overstaged in places, but overall a great tip for anyone who doesn't like lawns cut to the millimetre.... Relaxed staff, "hipster food", a small market with an organic range - every detail fits into the overall concept here. You can even overlook the somewhat outdated sanitary facilities if you read the "Museum Management" sign in front of the toilets. In short: a beautiful site that is deliberately alternative and should appeal more to van drivers than 5-star campers.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Erik H.April 2019PozytywneGreat location!NegatywneToo few washing-up facilities.Easter vacationWe were there for a week before Easter. Great location right on the Eckernförde Bay. Our children loved it despite the cold. The bistro is a great place to have a coffee, something to eat in the evening and a beer. A slightly different campsite with a relaxed atmosphere.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Dennis H.August 2018PozytywneSuper punishable with provisions office.NegatywneSanitary facilities should be renovated.Super friendly and cute campsiteThe operator and his whole team are super friendly, nice and helpful. A great campsite both with children and as a couple. Super pitches and direct access to the sea.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Peter F.August 2018PozytywneLocation, viewNegatywneAge of the sanitary facilitiesAlternative and goodFirst things first: the site is alternative through and through. The paths are not straight or gravel, the meadow by the sea is not flattened and there are also a few stones. The permanent campers indicate a certain amount of standing time and tolerance towards necessary repairs. The sanitary facilities... are not up to date (but clean!). However, all this takes a back seat to the view and location. A direct view of the fjord and the Baltic Sea, without a disturbing dyke. Especially in the shepherd's huts, you can look out over the sea for hours, watch the boats and see the animals. (Porpoises, sea eagles and other creatures can be seen directly from the terrace of the car). The operators are friendly and helpful, and the kiosk offers everything you need. (Here too: lots of organic and locally sourced, so highly recommended).Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Ingo H.August 2018NegatywneWe consider two dishwashing stations to be too few.We couple in our mid-50s visited Camp LangholzStayed here for 17 days camping with a caravan. The campsite is very child-friendly and has great attractions for the little ones. Our little ones are already out of the house, otherwise we would go here every year. The sanitary facilities are a bit outdated, but still clean enough. You can get fresh... bread rolls and everything else you might need in the small grocery store. The Strandräuber Bar Cafe Bistro serves delicious meals and drinks to suit your mood. The chefs are very pleasant. The groundskeeper does his job with dedication. The beach is very stony on site, but a hundred meters to the left or right the sea and the beach invite you to swim. All the staff are friendly and courteous, thank you! There is a lot of live music at the weekend. Campfires are still a way of life here. The surrounding area is very rural and invites you to go cycling and hiking. You can also visit the surrounding inns. Eckernförde town approx. 12 km away. We enjoyed it very much. All the towns in Schleswig Holstein and castles and museums are highly recommended. So, enough said..... make up your own mind and use this campsite as a great starting point. We can only recommend Camp Langholz.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Gerhard F.August 2017PozytywneQuiet, great relaxed atmosphere. Eckernförde very close by.NegatywneSanitary could be renovated. Beach very stony. Without shoes only for the very tough.2 weeks in August. We liked it very much.Very nice, quiet place. Very quiet and ideal for children. Perhaps not so great if you can't live without constant entertainment. You might have to make a few compromises with the sanitary facilities. Clean but no longer brand new. Otherwise there was always live music on Fridays. We also baked bread on sticks for the children. The price was absolutely fine. Certainly not the last time we were there.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Jessica R.August 2017PozytywneThe flair, the child-friendliness, the location, the music, the food and the sense of ecological necessities in lifeNegatywneWC cleanlinessA pearl for music, nature and eco-loversI struggled with myself for a long time about whether to rate. Out of pure selfishness. I don't want this unpolished pearl to be overrun. But I just have to. The place is located on a beautiful natural beach (you can't be a wimp when swimming because of the stones - neoprene shoes help). We went surfing... (not a beginner's spot, good waves, possible with westerly and easterly winds), fishing (we caught a delicious cod) and just relaxing. The campsite can be divided into quiet and lively areas. The playground is well equipped (a slide would be great and would make it ideal) and situated in such a way that the children don't wander off the site unseen. The restaurant and store are unbeatable. And the unbureaucratic and atypical German handling there too. If the store is closed, the annoyed waiter from the café sells the children their lollipops in the evening. If the wine in the café has run out, you can get one from the store. You can meet one or two music greats here (and I don't mean the official concerts, for those who look more closely). And there's always someone playing an instrument (usually the guitar) by the fire in the evening. The people are wonderfully informal and even one or two such individuals fit in well with the community there. There is good interaction between permanent campers and holidaymakers. The flair, the beautiful rental hammocks and the undogmatic approach of the owner (a very relaxed man) and his team should be emphasized. I would appreciate a decent daily newspaper and the toilets are cleaned really badly. Even I had to turn a blind eye to that. The fact that they are old doesn't bother me though. We will be back!Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Thomas K.July 2017PozytywneEverything was totally relaxed. Super great with a dog. Total peace and quiet on the pitch. Value for moneyNegatywneSanis are not so nice anymore. But they were clean and that's the most important thing...Totally relaxed placeWe (2 adults with dog) stayed at the campsite for almost 2 weeks in July. We really liked it there. Absolutely relaxed operators. Reasonably priced and highly recommended if you are traveling with a dog. We will definitely come back again. The only thing that could be a bit better are the sanitary facilities.... They are already very old (but clean) and should be renovated in the long run. Otherwise, dear operators, keep up the good work. We are already looking forward to coming back....Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Andreas G.June 2017Pozytywne- Location - Atmosphere - Course philosophyNegatywne- Sanitary facilitiesBeautiful place in a great locationA beautiful spot right by the sea. The beach is very stony, but there are plenty of sandy entrances to the water. The site is a natural site, which in some places still shows its past as a parceled-out campsite. The provisioning is good, bread rolls can be ordered in advance and there is a restaurant... in the immediate vicinity that offers simple, tasty (fish) dishes. The reception and staff were friendly and extremely pleasant. The sanitary facilities are indeed, as often described here, no longer the most modern, but in my opinion they are fine. Deductions in the A grade, however, because they really should be cleaned more often during the day. With perhaps a little effort, the overall site could be significantly improved; however, it should be mentioned that they are not cesspools and we would still like to come back ;)Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Oliver K.June 2017PozytywneDirectly on the water, site is quite small, everything is within easy walking distance, relaxed and friendly staffNegatywneNo sunbathing beach (but that's not the site's fault...)Wonderfully relaxingYou can see how the site is undergoing philosophical change. Some of the old structures can still be seen, but the free spaces already work very well. The sanitary facilities are old, but okay, and the store has everything you could possibly need. The staff were relaxed and very friendly and courteous,... especially at the registration desk. We were able to set up our Bulliburg without any problems. We also didn't feel like we were being treated like "tourists" by the permanent campers, and we had the odd nice chat. Unfortunately, the beach is quite rocky, so bathing shoes are recommended. Anglers (and there are many of them) will certainly get their money's worth here. Conclusion: A very rustic place with character - we'll be back! :-)Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
