- Heidrun S.September 2024PozytywneLocationNegatywneloud, expensive, outdatedRatingThis place is not to be recommended; at the weekends there is noise from the bay with disco music until 3 a.m., sanitary facilities probably still from socialist times - totally outdated and run-down; inflated prices even in the off-season; only the location is good.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Tanja M.June 2024PozytywneLocation is ok for excursionsNegatywneAddress of the reception, had booked pitch with sea view, was in the second row, were pointed directly to the noise, booking via Pitchcom, places very narrow, those with sea view, if you have it then are without water, sanitary facilities are a real cheek, totally rotten, can only advise against this placeRatingThis campsite is not recommended! Loud, narrow sanitary underground, nice is the gastro terracePrzetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Marcus R.May 2024PozytywneLocation directly by the seaNegatywneSanitary facilities and price-performance ratioJust passing throughPrices like at a 5* campsite, sanitary facilities, old, crowded and moldy. In do it yourself DIY store style. Showers like porta-potties with 40 cm access height. Supermarket has opening hours depending on the weather (was closed). When sending the sanitary facilities complained - answer " We hear that every day"Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- M M.October 2022PozytywneIdeally located for discovering the Slovenian coast. Piran and the salt marshes are within walking distance (2 hours), the promenade of Portorož is about 15 minutes away on foot and leads past the beautiful marina. Koper and Trieste are easily accessible by car. Many restaurants are nearby, try Gostišče Ribič. Slots with sea view are beautiful. The infrastructure of the camp is fine, the buildings are old but clean, clean like the whole camp. Very good electrical installations. Sufficiently large pitches. Sufficient shady and sunny pitches available. Supermarket on site and a large one within 10 minutes walking distance.NegatywneRemember, this is Portorož, people are enjoying their vacation, maybe you are about to go to the next party or music session: some would call it noise, others a vibrant night. Join in and enjoy it. It would be nice to have more water connections / gray water drainsIdeally located to discover the Slovenian coastWe were very satisfied: staff, infrastructure, cleanliness, location all top.
At first we were a little worried about the low ratings - unfounded, as we soon learned.
- Yes, some buildings would need renovation to be really nice. But nothing is broken or even dirty.
- Noise: we were there outside... the high season and don't particularly like noise. Yes, the good atmosphere was audible, but by no means disturbing. It is Portoroz and not an Alpine lake camp and so there are noises associated with the joy of life.
We actually had plans to travel on, but stayed because of the wonderful opportunities to explore the great surroundings - even without a car. We would love to come backPrzetłumaczone automatycznie. - Alain K.July 2022PozytywneNice place, beautiful environment, helpful restaurant staffNegatywneCleaning of the toilet facilities, crazy in the morning.Whoever wakes up earlier and came to the toilet, had to vomit.StayI prefer not to comment although the surroundings were very beautiful. The overall impression was spoiled by the sanitary facilities and their filthPrzetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Alfred S.June 2022PozytywneLocation, parking spaces, close to the town and Piran, directly on the cycle pathNegatywneMusic from the village unbearably loud. Sanitary facilities in need of renovationShort vacation over the long weekendWe planned to stay 3 nights, but due to the noise pollution at night, we shortened our stay.
The site is actually in a great location and there are a wide variety of pitches.
We "treated" ourselves to a pitch right by the sea, which unfortunately turned out to be a mistake.
The background music (coming... from the village opposite) is absolutely bearable until around 23:00. After that, for reasons I can't explain, it gets louder and louder. The whole thing goes on until about 02:30, and sleep is out of the question until then.
The owner could also invest in renovating the sanitary facilities. The washing facilities are really getting on in years.
For the above reasons, we won't be booking this site again in the near future, which is a shame as the location is ideal.Przetłumaczone automatycznie. - Christian G.April 2022PozytywnePlace very clear, good location to explore Portoroz and PiranNegatywnePitches by the sea without water connection, wash houses very outdated, swimming in midsummer?Small campsite in a good location for sightseeingWe stayed at this site for 3 nights in April. The site is quite well laid out. Unfortunately, the pitches by the sea have no water connection. The wash houses are very outdated. The supermarket on site was still closed, so I can't say anything about the range of goods on offer. There is also a bar and... a restaurant on the site, where we had an excellent meal. A big advantage of the campsite is its location. You can reach Portoroz and Piran even without bicycles. Either on foot or by bus. In high summer, the campsite will be very busy and I don't think there are any great bathing opportunities. There are also water sports facilities nearby.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- erika l.February 2022PozytywneLocation with parking right by the water.NegatywneOut of season functional toilet only at the reception, too far from the parking by the water.Camp Lucija out of season.Pleasant campsite with great possibility of bike trips to Puerto Rico, Piran. It is in a protected zone of a nature reserve, just over the hill there are salt fields. Great walks.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Karl R.September 2020PozytywneThe location to Piran and PortorozNegatywneThe sanitary facilitiesToo old and too expensiveFor us, the location to Piran was the deciding factor for camping there three times.
The site itself would be quite good if it weren't for the sanitary facilities. Rusty screws on the doors (risk of injury), mold in the showers! Simply horrible.
On a positive note, there are things that are not directly... related to the pitch.
For example, the proximity of the bus station, the possibility of taking long walks to Portoroz, the possibility of swimming in the sea, a beautiful, shady sunbathing lawn at the end of the campsite. Bringing a dog is also no problem.
Depending on the time of year (high season), the bar area can be relatively noisy.
Conclusion: As the operator has been aware of the problems for years and still doesn't change anything, this campsite will no longer be one of our destinations in the futurePrzetłumaczone automatycznie. - Ivan L.June 2020PozytywneCentral and beautiful hiking trailsNegatywneShowers and WC not clean!OK for transitThe location is ok but the cleanliness is not! - Hannes S.September 2019PozytywneClose to the city, beachNegatywneOld sanitary facilities, cleanlinessA campsite near the city with a beachThe site itself has already been described many times: beach, close to town, relatively expensive: €30/day, but the sanitary facilities are really very old and in need of renovation. But the cleanliness could really be improved. Cobwebs everywhere, the light doesn't work everywhere.....Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- klaus w.September 2019PozytywneSuper location. Great view from some placesNegatywneNocturnal background music, sanitary facilities, small pitches in some places, relatively expensive.Super location is the main advantageSome premium pitches have a great view of the sea and Portorosz, which is illuminated at night. Unfortunately, most of the premium pitches are very small. The sanitary facilities are mediocre at best with weaknesses in detail. Especially at the height of summer, there is constant background music at night from Portorosz opposite.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Thomas B.August 2019PozytywneRight by the sea and supermarket nearby.NegatywneLoud, dirtyOverpriced and dirtyWe stayed here for three nights with our camper at the beginning of August. We paid 161 €. We got dirty showers, toilets without toilet paper and parties everywhere. We thought Seeside would be quite good, but it was completely overcrowded, so we opted for the cheaper standard pitch for €6. We were lucky and had a pitch fenced off by a hedge. OK for one night, not recommended for longer!Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Christian C.August 2019NegatywneSanitary facilities in old, poor and dirty condition.Too expensive, too old and not cleanWe were only on the site for 1 night. With a motorhome it works if you are self-sufficient. There are too few sanitary facilities, which are also not clean and very dated. We had to pay 55 euros for 1 night. 20,- Euro/night for the pitch (no persons included!), 14 pP/night, 2,50 Taxe pP/night and 1,- Euro pP one-time registration fee.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Andreas E.July 2019PozytywneGreat beach and sea viewNegatywneOutdated sanitary facilitiesQuite ok, nice placeDespite some of the bad reviews, we drove to the site. The staff were very friendly, we were allowed to choose our pitch and the site was quite busy. Overall, I have to say that the site makes a somewhat "rustic" but good overall impression. The sanitary facilities are simple, a little dated, but clean!... Overall a relaxed site, we would go there again. Nice location, often music from the opposite shore in the evening, but it didn't bother us. There is still a real camper feeling here, not de luxe.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Juergen S.June 2019PozytywneGood location by the seaNegatywneNasty noise from disco. Sleeping without oropax not possibleUnfortunately hellishly lukewarmOn the whole, not a bad place if it weren't for the infernal disco noise from the town opposite. Every evening ramba zamba at full volume until 3am. If you need that, ok. Otherwise we can only advise against it. It's hardly possible to sleep.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Joseph H.August 2018Pozytywneinfrastructure, friendlinessCampsite Lucija summer 2018Hello. Me and my family were in camp Lucija in 2018. Very nice and peaceful campiste , the nature is beautiful . At reception very nice and polite people are working ,we had a nice time.
- Veronika B.August 2018Pozytywnedog-friendly, good value, own beach, free entry to the outdoor pool, friendly staffNegatywneunclean sanitary facilities, weak offer in the camp's own storeperfect for short vacations with a tent, sanitary facilities unfortunately not cleanwe stayed there for two nights (2x adults, 1x child), found a nice spot for our two tents and (surprisingly) a parking space for the car nearby. the campsite is very large and inviting. lots of cyclists and families. the camp's own beach was especially nice for the little one, we could watch her splashing... around in the shade of the trees. right next to it is a small store where you can find the most necessary groceries (we weren't really blown away - the opening hours could be longer, the selection is very limited). unfortunately we were disappointed with the sanitary facilities - some of the toilets were very dirty and there was an unpleasant smell. as we spent most of the day on excursions, we were able to put up with this. it was ok for brushing our teeth in the evening and in the morning + taking a shower. just right for our short trip - as a permanent camper I would have my doubts... the welcome was very warm and we were given information quickly. we also thought it was great that there was the opportunity to exchange information in several languages. In the evening we overheard the conversation from the other side of the river, but it didn't bother us and we were able to get to sleep quickly. It should be particularly emphasized that we were able to end the evening on the beach with a wonderful view (view of the illuminated portoroz) and a short cooling off in the sea. in summary: we are planning to come back next year - this time a few days longer (day trips to the surrounding areas, relaxing in the evening on the grounds). Probably with a dog (the camp is very dog-friendly!).Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Veronika M.August 2018PozytywneGood bus connection to PiranNegatywneVery loud at night Very expensive - > 86,00€ for two nights with tent for two persons Dirty sanitary facilitiesNever againWhere to start here... Drunken party guests strolling along the street and between the tents, sleeping with one eye open. Sanitary facilities neglected and dirty, unfortunately not just dust. Water in the "bay" murky and dirty. In addition, the campsite is completely overpriced so if you are in your right mind, avoid this campsite. The only positive thing is the very good bus connection to Piran.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Nina H.June 2018PozytywneBeach, close to the city, sports facilities, shadeNegatywneStore on the squareSmall fine placeThe pitches are just the right size and there is plenty of shade. There is private access to the sea with steps, which is also great for children. There is a footpath/cycle path directly from the site where you can visit the harbor, an old harbor and the salt pans, and there are also a few restaurants... along the way. Unfortunately, the store on the square is not really big, but there are some supermarkets in the immediate vicinity and you are quickly in the city.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
