Very clean, friendly site. Very nice sanitary facilities. Unfortunately no hooks for towels at the washbasins.

The pitches are level, so there is little need for wedging. In the low season (May) there was almost nothing going on. Shopping on site is very rudimentary. The Coop in Caldonazzo (1.6 km away)... offers an excellent range of groceries of very good quality. Or go shopping at the weekly market on Fridays.

The sanitary facilities were clean at all times. Even though the site was completely full. The whole site is always kept clean. Every pitch is mowed and cleaned before it is occupied again. German is also spoken at reception. There is a kiosk for bread in the morning The lake is amazing. Both visually and in terms of cleanliness.

Unfortunately, there is no toilet paper in the toilet and no soap anywhere. Which we find very negligent in Corona times. The entire sanitary building is kept without a mask. Unfortunately, there is a lack of light in the shower areas. So you only have limited light in the shower The toilets, washbasins and showers are all in one room. This can be very unsightly at times. There is no mini market on the pitch. You have to drive to Caldonazzo to do your shopping. There is nothing on the site for older children apart from a table tennis table. The lady at reception is very stressed. This affects the friendliness a little.
A small place with a big heart
The place is not very big, but very nice. Simply put, the pitches at the back are huge. Even with our 8.5 m caravan we had no problems.
Electricity and water are on site. There is plenty of shade. You don't really need air conditioning. In the evening it is always pleasantly cool in the valley. Although... it's 32° during the day.

Conclusion:
The place is great. We can highly recommend it and will definitely be back.
At Lake Caldonazzo you really have everything you could wish for in terms of leisure activities. Cycling is a bit difficult for children due to the lack of cycle paths. But otherwise the area is a dream.

Highly recommended for hikers
We were coming back from a hike and spontaneously needed a place for our small tent. None of the neighboring campsites had space for us and we didn't even try. At this site, we got a small corner in the shade - that was all we needed for one night. We are very grateful to the owners for their efforts.

Small, manageable space
Small, quiet, well-kept site with some very small pitches. The wash house is as good as new and very clean. Unfortunately, there are no individual washing cubicles and no toilet paper. The washbasins are unfortunately very close together and there are no hooks or shelves. There are also no hooks in the... toilet cubicles. That could be improved. Wifi was free for one device during our visit although there was a price list for wifi on the information board. The location on the lake is very nice and a good starting point to the surrounding area. Bread rolls are available on site. The reception could have been friendlier, but well - everyone has a bad day. Otherwise we felt very comfortable.

Positive surprise
Campeggio Belvedere was not our first choice on Lago di Caldonazzo. We had arrived by chance and both of our favorite pitches were fully booked. At Belvedere we got a shady double pitch for our caravan (VW bus and caravan). The operators were very friendly, there is a store with fresh bread rolls and... a café, and there are plenty of good restaurants within walking distance. The lake is only separated from the campsite by a small road. The place was an ideal starting point for beautiful mountain bike tours for us, it was just too hot for hiking at 36 °C. We found the price/performance ratio to be very good, we paid 100 euros for 5 nights (including tourist tax). The wash house is very clean, there could be more shelves and hooks in the showers. And there is no toilet paper, you have to bring your own. It takes some getting used to at first, you just have to remember that.

Directly on the lake!
Small beautiful campsite
The campsite is quiet as there is no entertainment here. Plain and simple. There is a small store that has fresh bread rolls every day. You just have to cross a small road and you're at the lake. The nearest supermarket is not far away. You can go on great excursions here.

Very nice, small place right on the lake. Very nice owners speak German and are very helpful. The wash houses are new and of a good standard. Unfortunately, the men's toilets smell very strongly of urine from midday onwards as there are no urinals and the toilet seats are all full of pee. If this is improved, the place will be perfect. We will still come back, as the package is otherwise really convincing.
