- Wilhelm P.June 2015PozytywneACSI discount in low season, shady pitches, clean poolNegatywneA dog should be allowed to be away from the campsite on the beach and in the water, as is possible on Lake Trasimeno, Lake Garda-Ledro etc.Nothing for dogsDear camping enthusiasts. Was on the site in June 2015 and found the following: staff very friendly, quiet, no hiking possibilities from the site, dog is only allowed to stay in a very small area, on the entire lake a dog is not even allowed near the water, supposedly there is a € 600 fine. No longer an issue with a dog.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Johann (Hans) G.May 2015PozytywneBeautiful place on a great, deep blue lake with its own bathing areaNegatywneDog not allowed towards the lake + restaurantNeat place on the deep blue Lake BraccianoThe site is in a quiet location with its own beach. The lower area facing the lake is nicely shaded. Neat sanitary facilities look freshly renovated, only the mirrors are partially blind and the towel rails are just saying goodbye along with the plugs. Chemical toilet disposal can be found at the 2nd,... smaller sanitary building which is locked with bars in the low season. The dog area is located immediately after the entrance on the left, furthest away from the lake. This means short distances for walking. The dog is not allowed to leave the dog area except to go out for a walk. As the nice restaurant is right on the beach, you can't take your dog there, so we ate out. But 2-3km north of the campsite there are a few small parking lots on the road with access to the lake, where the dog can cool off in the water. About 3km south is the pretty little town of "Bracciano" with a large castle overlooking the lake. There are parking spaces at the castle, stores and restaurants. Just below the castle on the "Lago" there are pedal boat rentals, restaurants and a natural swimming area. Minibuses run from the campsite forecourt to the train station. Good, fast train connection to Rome. From Bracciano center you can reach the Via Aurelia and the sea via Sasso on a wide, good road. Beautiful site, great lake, excursion possibilities, restaurants - good for relaxing and yet not far from Rome!Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Martin H.July 2014PozytywneClose to and easy to reach from Rome. Good location on the very beautiful and clean Lago Bracciano.NegatywneRestaurant not really good. Cleanliness only adequate. Little information about excursions. Little help with problems.Worth repeating despite individual weaknessesThe campsite is located on Lago Bracciano, a very beautiful and clean bathing lake. Rome is approx. 30 km away and can be reached by bus and train (there is a bus from the campsite to the train station). The campsite has a beach with fine gravel/grass. The site is suitable for motorhomes, caravans and... tents. There are also tents and mobile homes for rent. Those arriving by caravan should do so via Trevignano, as the route via Anguillara has a significant incline. Overall, we were satisfied with the site and the value for money and would camp there again. Most of the pitches are under trees (no pine trees), so there is plenty of shade in summer. In rainy weather, however, it is quite gloomy. The car is parked in an adjacent parking lot, but can be driven onto the pitch for loading and unloading. However, there are also parking spaces where you can leave your car, as well as separate spaces for dog owners. Sanitary facilities and showers are adequate, as are sinks, basins for hand washing and washing machines. However, we found it irritating that one of the wash houses was closed until July 20. The toilets are mostly equipped with self-disinfecting glasses. However, this only helped to a limited extent in the men's toilets (urinating standing up). The sanitary facilities were cleaned about twice a day (mainly with a water hose). The cleanliness was sufficient, but more could have been done. The showers are warm and spacious. There is a tennis court, a soccer pitch (floodlit!), beach volleyball court, table tennis, children's playground and pool. The site is located in the flight path of an airport, but the noise pollution is low. The campsite was particularly quiet at night. There is a mini market on site with a very limited range of products. There is also a restaurant where you can order take-away pizzas. However, the organization there didn't seem good to us, and the friendliness left a lot to be desired in our opinion. The food tasted much better in other restaurants (e.g. in Sutri), so this shortcoming didn't really bother us. You don't really have to rely on the mini market either, as there are good and inexpensive shopping facilities (including a supermarket) in Bracciano. We were somewhat disappointed by the lack of helpfulness of the staff, e.g. in the event of a power cut. Instead of helping with troubleshooting, we were only told that the problem must be with one of the campers connected to the power distributor (which was true, by the way).Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Richard S.June 2014PozytywneBeautifully situated on the lake Very quiet location and yet close to Rome Very friendly staff Reasonably priced restaurantNegatywneOnly the bare essentials in the store No good bread/rolls available Cleanliness could be improvedNice vacation with small weaknessesWe stayed at this campsite for 13 nights over Whitsun and were quite happy overall. Beautiful lake, but also only 25 km from a very nice beach by the sea and 35 km from Rome. Ideal if you want to combine sightseeing in Rome with a relaxing beach vacation. Only a small part of the campsite was occupied... by guests. Only 1 sanitary building was open. Good: self-disinfecting toilet seats. Worthy of improvement: general cleanliness, e.g. only cleaned with a water hose. Spider webs everywhere that were never removed. Only the essentials are available in the store. The bread and rolls have to be ordered in advance in the evening. Unfortunately, nothing really tasted good to us (spoiled by France!). The garbage has to be carried far. Part of the pitch by the lake is very shady, but with a great view of the lake. The rear part is a bit sunnier. Staff were very friendly. Internet for 20 euros/week with just acceptable performance. Super clean lake, ideal for swimming. We therefore never used the pool. Great surroundings and Rome is always worth a visit, even for the 5th time.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.

- Edgar L.August 2010A beautiful campsite on an even more beautiful lake. Lots of leisure activities, a market and a pizzeria too (even if I didn't particularly like the pizza)! We didn't find the airplanes as annoying as the other comments made. The sanitary facilities are fine!Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Berthold P.August 2010We stayed at the campsite in the last week of August and the first week of September. The location is beautiful on the lake , the lake invites you to swim and the sea is also easily accessible. Rome is very easy and inexpensive to reach by train (during the day). Very poor and unfriendly service and lack of shopping facilities. Not recommended without a car. Located in the flight path to Rome airportPrzetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Christian S.July 2010This campsite is beautifully situated by the lake. There are transport links to Rome. Unfortunately you can only take the car to the camp for loading and unloading. Overnight it has to be in the large parking lot and if you have a problem then the staff will avoid it. For example, we had no fuse for electricity. So we had no electricity for one night (which wasn't too bad). But we pay for it. Friendliness leaves a lot to be desired.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
