- @Wohnwagenland S.August 2024PozytywnePitches directly on the lake Friendly staff Good sanitary facilitiesNegatywneLong way to the pitches through the vacation home settlements. A good 12-18 minute walk to Reze from our pitch.Different but okWe were there for the WE. It was great for us. Sanitary house was further away! Would come again. - Birgit S.August 2024PozytywneIt is a quiet place and the sanitary facilities are fineNegatywneNo bread roll service, the bakery in the village is approx. 1 km away. There are no facilities on site for refreshments during the day, no kiosk for ice cream, drinks or similar. A dog is charged 3 euros per day, but there is no small bathing area on the lake for dogs or any information for "permitted" walks, but lots of prohibition signs. The lady at reception gave us the wrong directions on arrival so that we had to turn around with the caravan on a narrow access road, which is annoying after a long and tiring journey when new employees don't even know the site. The map material provided is poor, it would be nice to have information about further hiking trails, restaurants nearby etc. There could also be more information on the website, dog owners should be informed in advance about the absolute bathing ban, it's unfair. As a pedestrian, you must always have your guest card with you, otherwise absolutely everything is closed.Campsite disappoints usWe will not visit this place again with our 2 Labrador retrievers, it is not recommended for dog owners.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Rüdiger G.May 2022PozytywnePeace and quiet and proximity to HanoverNegatywneUnsuitable for large trailers/mobilesQuiet and yet close to the cityWe visited the square for the second time for a concert. Not much has changed. The access to the site and the pitches is narrow. Driving right up to the barrier to check in is bad. You obstruct the access road. The pitches are cramped. The layout of the pitches is a bit strange. We couldn't have put... up an awning or awning because the pitch was "tailored" exactly to the size of our caravan (L 8.00 W 2.30) (no. 30). The layout should be more precise and easier to recognize. Electricity, water and waste water are available on the site itself. You can even swim in the lake if you like. Waterfowl naturally live by the water, so you can also find their droppings on the pitch. 1.00 for the shower, which runs for 6 minutes, is ok. The sanitary facilities are a bit old, but clean. There is a kiosk and an Italian restaurant. However, we didn't make use of either. You can get to Hanover by bike in about 30 minutes on well-developed cycle paths, which also run off the road. However, the site is mainly characterized by permanent campers and bungalows. On the whole, we can recommend the site for short trips.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.

- Rainer H.July 2020Pozytywne+ Good connection to Hanover + Shopping facilities in the village + Beautiful lake + Great restaurantNegatywne- Coin-operated machines at the showers - Gravel paths with deep potholes - Poor lighting in the south camp and lack of water and waste water points in the front areaTranquil campsite in the countryside and yet close to HanoverWe spontaneously decided to spend a week at Arnumer See. The decisive factor for us was the proximity to Hanover.
The check-in was very straightforward and friendly. Once you have made it past the allotments of the vacation homes with the camper van, you arrive at the Südcamp camping area directly on... the lake. The pitches themselves are a bit unfortunate. You didn't know where they began and ended and they weren't numbered. We just fitted in lengthwise. I can't recommend other camping areas as these are simply undeveloped pitches in the middle of the vacation home area. So if Arnumer See, then Südcamp!
The sanitary block was good and was cleaned regularly. However, it is a mystery to me why there are still coin-operated machines (50ct for 4 minutes) at the showers these days. The time continued to run, even if the water was turned off in the meantime :-(
You could order bread rolls in the Seestübchen. We liked them. Apart from that, there are also several shops in Arnum,
There is a slightly larger beach with some play facilities at the other end of the lake. There is also a sanitary building right there. Top!
It's easy to cycle to Hanover, although part of the route is along a busy road. In the center of Arnum, a bus goes directly to the Hanover central bus station without changing.
All in all, it is a very idyllic spot with lots of opportunities for excursions.Przetłumaczone automatycznie. - Andi -.July 2019PozytywneFriendliness, location by the lake, restaurant, proximity to HanoverNegatywnenoneNice simple campsite just outside HanoverWe stayed at the campsite for four days and had a large pitch with water and waste water connections in the south camp area directly on the lake. The reception was very friendly and the price/performance ratio was right. Access to the pitch is easy even with a large caravan (8 m x 2.5 m). The Italian... restaurant on site is excellent! The bread rolls on offer were not to our taste. The place is located about 8 KM from the north shore of the Maschsee and about 10 KM from the old town of Hanover and can be easily reached by bike. Shopping facilities about 3 KM away. We would love to come back.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Ralf S.April 2019PozytywneFor short-term guests without awning, nice pitch on the lake, spacious showers, friendly staff, great new Italian restaurant next doorNegatywneThe rolls available to order from the kiosk (40 cents) were horrible. The square is dominated by weekend houses.were pleasantly surprisedStayed there for 2 nights at Easter 2019. Expected the worst based on the sometimes disastrous reviews. All nonsense!Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Wiebke A.August 2018PozytywneLake, equipment of the pitchesNegatywneDirty sanitary facilitiesFor one night, but no longerWe were only there for one night, but that was enough. The path to the day pitches is super narrow because all the permanent campers lay stones and build fences right up to the edge of the site. The day pitches have water and waste water and a view of the lake. That was nice and therefore two stars. The rest is not worth more. The sanitary facilities are dirty and dark, I don't need them again.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Natalie W.June 2018PozytywneNear the highwayNegatywneNot suitable for caravans.Bad never again! We were looking for a place to spend the night on the Durchfährt. We have a caravan about 5.50 meters high. At first we were very happy to have found a pitch. However, we were allocated a pitch that is used at our Dyuer campsite for caravans that need to be disposed of. The three of us couldn't get it... in. Nothing worked with the car as everything was far too tight. Fortunately, a female camper helped us. There was no room to sit outside as our car had to be parked there. Toilet was dirty in the evening and in the morning. We just got our bread rolls in the morning and left. It may be nice if you get a place by the lake but the almost 40 euros really hurt us. Never again!Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Corina H.June 2017PozytywnePeace and quiet and close to Hanover (7km)NegatywneBad paths on the CPNot the best, but you can stand there for a few daysWe had booked in advance and stayed for 10 days on an unparceled grass area, the south camp. We saw the groundsman on the day of arrival and then not again. Nice quiet location and good area for cycling. Shopping facilities by bike. Unfortunately, the cleaning of the wash house was not appropriate for... the high number of guests, e.g. at Pentecost, but always nicely heated. The CP can be accessed by car around the clock, in the restaurant there was an overpriced, disappointing asparagus meal for us after some inconsistencies and misunderstandings. Paths on the CP with many potholes.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Rüdiger G.May 2017PozytywneClose to the city, quietNegatywne''---''Close to the cityWe, my wife and I, were at this place for a concert. If we hadn't called in advance (about 10 days) we wouldn't have gotten a place. Our pitch was shown to us by the manager and was right on the lake. Ducks and geese were our neighbors on the lake. Sanitary clean. Due to the small beach at the lake of... course after a short time unclean again. You can cycle to the exhibition grounds. There is a cycle path from the site. There is a fishing pond not far away, which was well frequented on Lord's Day. We did not visit the restaurant. All in all, we can recommend the campsite. If we ever go to a concert in Hanover again, I would stop here. The site is generally dominated by permanent campers.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.

- Wilfried S.October 2016PozytywneQuiet location Helpful and nice operators/employees Location close to the city/fairNegatywnenoneRelaxation but also a trip to Hanover everything givenWe (couple with dog) stayed at this site for 3 days in the fall. After a very friendly welcome, we were able to choose our pitch and found a very nice pitch with a direct view of the lake. Rarely have we stayed more beautifully. The sanitary facilities were always clean and, importantly at this time... of year, sufficiently heated. We had a delicious meal in the adjoining restaurant in a nice atmosphere. All in all, a worthwhile trip to Hanover and can be recommended without reservation.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Manuel R.July 2016Pozytywne-quiet location -in the middle of nature -directly on the lakeNegatywne- Showers are in very poor conditionGreat place, bad showersThe site itself is in a very beautiful location. In the middle of nature by the lake. Unfortunately, the showers urgently need to be renovated as there are mold stains on the ceiling.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Frank T.June 2016PozytywneCleanliness, tranquillity, nature by the lakeNegatywne-green lake oasisWe felt very comfortable and will be back. The cleanliness of the sanitary facilities and the kitchen is excellent. Two bathing areas, kiosk, restaurant, playground and all surrounded by greenery. The weekend houses enrich the site and in the small alleys you can discover the lake again and again and enjoy the absolute peace and quiet.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Max H.June 2016Pozytywne- the central location to Hanover - the nice nature of the roommates - the beautiful swimming lakeSimply great !Just great! We had rented a small cottage on the lake, which gave the impression that we were the first guests ! Top equipped, top clean! The welcome at the reception was very warm and the food in the restaurant and the breakfast in the Seestübchen were great, value for money in order! In the evening... there was a wedding on the lake and we were able to enjoy the wonderful sounds over the lake together with a few campers who had placed themselves next to us! Gladly again !Przetłumaczone automatycznie.

- Martin M.August 2015PozytywneThank goodness we only had to stay there for 2 days.Negatywne-Not to be surpassed in unfriendliness -It's all about the money (shower, washing overpriced) -Admission for visitors! -Unacceptable service.ATTENTION: HORRIBLE!This campsite is absolutely the worst I've been to so far. The lake may be beautiful, BUT: 1. the lady at reception is the worst kind of unfriendly and after money like the devil after the soul. We were there for 2 nights and we took our cell phones to the toilet to charge them there. She then just took... the cell phones (without saying anything or telling reception!) We thought someone had stolen the cell phones until we found out she had plugged them in. Their reason was that we don't pay for electricity! To take a shower, you have to pay 50 cents each time (for a ridiculous 7 minutes)! It takes half an eternity to get from the campsite to the sanitary facilities. The breakfast on offer is completely overpriced and quite mikrieg: here the people were at least reasonably friendly. The price for one wash is €3! To enter the campsite as a visitor you have to pay an entrance fee! You have to pay in advance and no receipt is issued. In summary, a really lousy campsite with unacceptable service. What a shame really...Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Agathe B.August 2015PozytywneBeautiful lake, near HanoverNegatywneGreedy staff, showers cost extra, price-performance ratio is definitely NOT rightOkay+The location on the lake is very beautiful and romantic and the sanitary facilities are clean. It is definitely nice here with a dog. -Price/quality is not right at all, we paid 40€ for only 2 nights (tent/2p). This without a shower! It is relatively loud and the woman at the reception is very unfriendly and doesn't even explain the most important things. You have to walk there 10 timesPrzetłumaczone automatycznie.
