We were put in the last hole on this pitch, which is normally the parking lot for the mobile homes. It's about 300 m to the toilet, shower or water tap. The ground is anything but paved, we had thunderstorms there which caused land underneath.
So we have been here 5 times but I think we are orienting ourselves differently
Too bad but if you don't want guests anymore.
- Gerald M.June 2023PozytywnePerfect organization. - Michaela J.September 2022PozytywneTop organized bus shuttle to Barcelona for a small price. Large pool area.NegatywneLack of cleanliness sanitary, the place Mataro, friendliness of the staff in need of improvement, impersonal placeIdeal for City Barcelona, but with room for improvementTypical city campsite, many nationalities with short stays. Nobody stays longer for a vacation, but all just for a short sightseeing trip. You can see this in the public and sanitary areas. Nobody feels compelled to leave showers, sinks etc. clean... Cleaning of sanitary facilities rather mediocre &... a renovation would be urgently needed. We only had a drink in the restaurant later in the evening, so the food can be quite good, but the atmosphere is rather uncomfortable. Large pool with lots of sun loungers, places mostly very small & often at an angle. Outdated supermarket with unmotivated, rather unfriendly staff, reception at reception ok, but with room for improvement.
The town of Mataro without any charm. Quite dangerous by bike on an extremely busy road, but there is a shuttle bus. Excursion to Barcelona perfectly organized. The place is worth it for that alone.
If you want to stay in BCN for a long time in the evening, you can also return by train.
Highly recommended for a visit to Barcelona, but I would move on immediately afterwards.Przetłumaczone automatycznie. - petra v.September 2022Pozytywnefree shuttle bus to Mataro and opportunities to go to Barcelona by paid bus.Negatywnerestaurant is mediocre, price acceptable but dishes are mediocre.camping Barcelonatoilet block is fine and well kept clean. pitches are also good.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Roswitha R.May 2022PozytywneBus connection directly from the square to the city centerNegatywneprobably rather narrow paths and small spaces due to their ageideal starting point for BarcelonaDo not follow the navigation system, sanitary facilities are old and rather poorly clean, which is partly caused by the visitors. Great pool area, small restaurant and supermarket. The organized bus transfer to the city centre of Barcelona is cheaper and less stressful than taking the train from the next town.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Pascal H.May 2019PozytywneBus transfer to Barcelona, good infrastructureNegatywneA littered location by the road, Sticky, colorful berries falling from the treesWell-positioned pitch with one shortcomingThe campsite is located directly by the sea, but in front of a busy road. The view of the sea is possible from the pitch. Very friendly, helpful staff at reception. The sanitary facilities are very good. Plenty of toilets and showers! There is WLAN with good reception. There is also a shop with baguettes... for breakfast and a restaurant. There is also a pool with a bar. You could have a very pleasant stay if it weren't for... ... the berries. In our area, all the pitch floors were covered in sticky berries that fell from the trees. They were also very stained. This got on the nerves of many a camper, because the caravan or motorhome was very dirty. What a pity! One particularly positive aspect, however, was that the campsite provided a bus to Barcelona. So it's particularly suitable for a visit to Barcelona!Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Werner B.October 2018PozytywneLocation to Barcelone and shuttleNegatywnenoneTop spot for BarcelonaWe stayed here for 10 days at the beginning of October. Everything was fine. The sanitary facilities are relatively new and very clean. The food in the restaurant is not star cuisine but the value for money is good and the service is very nice. The store is small but has a sufficient range of products.... The multilingual reception staff are very helpful and friendly. Nothing more needs to be said about the shuttle service. Simply top! I can't understand the often criticized road and train noise, we were in the middle of the square and the sound from the road was lost in the general noise level. Any time again.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.

- Constanze W.May 2018PozytywneLocation approx. 30km north of Barcelona, bus service to Mataró and Barcelona, suitable for beach vacations and sight-seeingNegatywneA little noisy, due to location on the streetGood starting point for a visit to BarcelonaWe stayed with the family (2 children) in one of the rental accommodations. This was in a somewhat outdated condition, but ok. The campsite itself is mostly well-kept. There is also a larger proportion of permanent camping pitches, which are busier at weekends. The campsite is located on a busy road,... railroad line and sea. Unfortunately, there is no direct access to the sea from the campsite, but there is a bus service to Mataró beach. Depending on the distance of the pitch from the road, the traffic noise is audible. The pool is large and without many frills, but very suitable for swimming and cooling off. The bus service to Barcelona should be emphasized at this campsite, in 45 minutes you are in the city center of Barcelona, 4 trips daily. Seats on the bus must be reserved well in advance. The staff at reception are very friendly, helpful and multilingual.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.

- Uwe M.March 2018PozytywneGreat offers even in the low season Shuttle to Barcelona and the surrounding area Super friendly staff Clean toiletsNegatywneTraffic noiseGreat place but traffic noiseWe stayed there for 4 nights at the beginning of March to see Barcelona and the surrounding area. Even the reception was great. The staff are friendly and helpful, and everything is explained in detail to every newcomer. The offer is extensive. Top pitches (with electricity and water connections), laid... out in terraces with trees as boundaries. As caravans we felt like exotics (only 5 other caravans - apart from the permanent campers - all other motorhomes) but that didn't detract from the whole experience. Pitches are large enough, up to over 100m². There is already a lot going on here with the opening after the winter break at the beginning of March. The free shuttle bus to Barcelona is great, and there is another to the neighboring towns. In the high season this service costs €2.90 per person, but it's better than driving into Barcelona yourself. The sanitary facilities are clean and modern, hot water is also free for showers. The only thing that bothered me a bit was that the cabin doors for both the toilets and the showers stop at a height of about 1.75m (I am 1.90m tall). A little more privacy would not be a bad thing. The supermarket is well stocked and the prices are absolutely fine. We paid 75 cents for a small baguette. There is also a restaurant, pool leisure activities (cooking, cocktail mixing, excursions, etc., even in the low season and free of charge). I noticed the following disadvantages at night. The campsite is located directly on a busy road. This means that there is constant traffic noise. Similar to a highway rest area. However, as this is constant, it didn't bother us any further. It doesn't matter whether you are further down or higher up the pitch. So if you want absolute peace and quiet, you should avoid the site. There is no private beach access (because there is no beach in front of the door, only boulders lead to the sea). However, there is a free shuttle bus to the beach. If you want to walk a little, you can go through an underpass (approx. 1.80 m high) under the road and the train tracks. The path (more like a beaten track) runs directly alongside the tracks (unthinkable in Germany :-) ). Despite the restrictions, it was a great place for us, especially because of the wide range of facilities and the ideal location for exploring Barcelona. We paid €79 for 4 nights for two people, two dogs and a caravan including electricity with a camping card. In the low season, you can even leave until 8pm.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Harald S.September 2017PozytywneTransfer and organization visit BarcelonaNegatywnePlace is located on a busy road without direct access to the seaVisit BarcelonaSuper organization for visiting Barcelona. Get on the bus in about 40 minutes (doesn't seem long) and you're right in the heart of Barcelona. Back the same. Bus is back on time. - Torsten Peter B.June 2017PozytywneProximity to BarcelonaNegatywnepossibly the road in front of the squareIdeal place for a visit to BarcelonaVery friendly reception on the pitch, staff are multilingual. The site was not very busy in June and we had a free choice of pitches. The paths and bends can be a bit narrow for large caravans. The beach in front of the campsite is not recommended, rather use the 1/2 hourly free bus shuttle to Matarò.... We really liked the bus transfer to Barcelona, journey time approx. 45 minutes, cost approx. 18 € return for 3 people. The pool is supervised and clean. The restaurant is ok and the staff very friendly. The train line was barely audible.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Günther M.June 2017PozytywneShuttle, cleanliness, restaurantNegatywneStreet noise (but not that bad), no footpaths to the places on the left and rightbeautiful place to visit BarcelonaI can only agree with felix-577. However, as we had an ACSI card, the price was ok for us. The ACSI pitches are on the right (seen from the entrance). The pitches are smaller than the normal pitches, but each pitch has fresh water and waste water connections. The access roads can be a bit tricky for... larger caravans, but with a camper van it's fine. The only annoying thing are the trees that drop indefinable fruit. They stick under your shoes and if you get them on your T-shirt, they stain. I can't recommend this place for a vacation, there's too much commotion. We spent 5 days there. The site has a pool. I highly recommend the restaurant. They are really good and very friendly.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Felix S.March 2017PozytywneSafe camping for a visit to BarcelonaNegatywneNot exactly cheap, but relatively good value for moneyIdeal for a safe visit to BarcelonaThe campsite is located by the sea. Only the train line and the road are in between. There is a free shuttle bus to Barcelona several times a day. There are also various free activities on offer every day. As the beach, port and train station are some distance away, there is also a free shuttle bus several times a day.
