"Good place to explore Nantes - CP is ok so far. What bothered me a bit was that we had booked in advance for 2 nights and got a rather unsightly pitch, right at the entrance, opposite the place where the food trucks stopped. The food trucks were different every day, there was a map where you could see who was coming and when. On our first evening, a Lebanese food truck came in, quite rancid and polluted the air with old chip fat. On the second evening we had crepes and galettes, which was ok. The website describes a whole great CP with bar etc, but that wasn't the case. There was a table and benches, and also a tent for campers, but not what the website suggested. The car should officially be parked in a separate parking lot, which the website did not inform us about beforehand. After consulting with reception, we were able to park on our pitch. I would book the site again for a visit to Nantes, but definitely with a better parking space.

"Nice place to explore Nantes - For us, this campsite was an "alternative site" because it was not possible to stay at the site closer to the city without a reservation. The site is in a very quiet location near a suburb of Nantes; the advertised 10-minute drive seems too short, even by car. You can probably cycle along the Loire; we preferred the bus/tram. However, the bus stop is about 15 minutes' walk from the campsite. The sanitary facilities were functional and perfectly OK. Campers can use a tent with tables if required. There is no restaurant.

"Well-kept place on the Loire - The campsite is in a very quiet location on the banks of the Loire. There is only a cycle path between the Loire and the campsite. The only source of noise is the railroad line, which is about 1 km away but not very busy. The pitches are generously sized and separated by high hedges. The sanitary facilities were well maintained and clean. The site is conveniently located for exploring Nantes. You can cycle along the Loire into the city or take public transport (bus stop 1km away) in 30 minutes.
