The landlady is judgemental and controlling. She placed us next to the only camper van despite the whole site being empty. No music allowed while she played her own diabolocal music on the radio 24 hour in the wash room. We were far away form the wash room. The water tap nexy to us was off. No washing vegetables, no fire camp. She threw our portable BBQ on the plastic table in the BBQ area while we left it out to cool down. She followed is waiting for the first wrong move. Electricity and fridge are all extra. Her arrogance made me think about racism.

My favorite campsite in Romania
I absolutely love the location! It's such a delightful experience being surrounded by the soothing sound of the nearby river and the tranquil atmosphere that embraces the campsite at night. The management of the place is truly commendable, as they prioritize cleanliness and organization, making the entire... site a joy to be in.

The picturesque landscape, sculpted by a charming small stream, offers fantastic opportunities for leisurely walks or bike rides, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the breathtaking scenery. Additionally, the convenience of reaching Brasov easily adds to the overall appeal of this place.

Without a doubt, our fondness for this beautiful location grows stronger each year, and we eagerly anticipate our annual visits here.

The location is OK, lots of greenery, neat place, friendly, quiet. The access is on a narrow road but it is asphalted. A bit expensive, 1 caravan, 3 persons, electricity = 145lei/night.

- tent space too small, social distance not respected - bathroom far away - only one fridge for the whole campsite, in which you are not allowed to store vegetables, fruit or drinks, and only coolers in the freezer.
Camping Cheile Rasnovului - Rating
The campsites are very small. From a group of 3 families one of the families had to keep the car 50 meters away from the tent.
Between the groups of families and the other campers there is no space for social distancing. In front of the tent if we placed one table and those opposite another table in... front of us it was like we were all eating at one table, we were trampling each other.
If you went with children and wanted to let them play with a ball or tennis rackets next to the tent they would damage or hit the tents or other people.
To the right of the campsite there was plenty of room to play, but the grass wasn't mowed and the kids got warped.
The bathroom was very far away from the campsite.
If you had dishes to wash you had to carry them very far from the campsite to wash them.
You were not allowed to wash vegetables, fruit or fish in the kitchen sinks, according to the plaque on the wall.
You couldn't put fruit, vegetables or drinks in the refrigerator. In the freezer you were only allowed to put coolers for the freezer boxes, and if the group you came with occupied the whole fridge you had to pay a 30 lei/night charge.
All this because there was only one fridge for everyone in the campsite.
Because we arrived at 9 in the morning and not at 14:00 we paid the camping fee for another half day.

Zrezygnowaliśmy .
Podróżujemy fiatem Doblo gdzie śpimy.Pani zarzyczyła sobie 60 lei +15 lei za prąd,Sanitariaty oddalone brak kuchni pojechaliśmy do Branu gdzie za wszystko zapłaciliśmy 59 lei.Do kempingu już jest zalany nowy asfalt.

Relatively expensive and unpleasant place
Relatively expensive and unfriendly campsite. They have very big area, but you cannot choose a place: most of the area is empty, but you must camp 2 meters from other campers. Toilet is a bit damaged, and hot water is available till 10 pm only. A woman at the reception is really unpleasant. One-day guest... must camp on unshaded places. Local regulations are very stupid and unfriendly, e.g. it is strictly forbidden to repair your tent on the campsite!

Gorąco polecamy ten camping!
Jeden z najlepszych campingów, na jakich byliśmy w Rumunii. Dojazd kamienno-szutrową drogą (ale to jest właśnie zaleta - nie każdemu się chce, a drogą dojeżdża się bez problemu KAŻDYM samochodem). Znakomite położenie - na osi wsch-zach: od wschodu wąwóz, od zachodu widok na góry (ach, te zachody słońca!).... Dużo miejsca, szerokie pola na pojedynczy camping (kamper, namiot itp.). Obsługa bardzo miła i pomocna. Za namiot, 2 os, prąd i samochód 80 zł (siódma noc za darmo) - najtaniej nie jest, ale cena absolutnie warta jakości. Dobry punkt na bazę wypadową do Rasnova, Brasova, w góry Bucegi. Sanitariaty czyściutkie i bez zarzutu. Teren perfekcyjnie zagospodarowany. Pozdrawiamy właścicieli!

Somewhat remote, but in the middle of many castles.
Very clean site with very friendly operators. On request there is also an evening meal for the camping guests. Nothing is within walking distance. The site is centrally located in the middle of many sights (Rasnov, Bran etc.). The sanitary facilities were very clean and adequate. We stayed at this site... on the outward journey to the Black Sea and on the return journey. And if you drive to a campsite for the second time, that should be enough of a rating.

Obsługa mówi po angielsku, nowiutkie i czyste sanitariaty, pralka, wifi. Dojechalisśy od Raznova - oznakowanie dobre. Ceny wysokie jak na Rumunie bo ok. 40 zł za osobe przy grupie 9 -osobowej. W pobliżu Brasova bardziej polecam kemping w Branie bo cena ok. 30 zł a są piękne widoki na góry i bliżej cywilizacji.

Great base camp
Very friendly operators. Also German-speaking. Great tips. We used the site as a base camp as it is centrally located for all activities in the region. Top cleanliness. The operators also refuse guests who could obviously disturb the peace and quiet. That's why the campsite is only 50% full even now... in August. A clear recommendation from us as a family. Disadvantage: the access from the country road is partly bad gravel road on approx. 2 km, which is partly only passable with the caravan at walking speed.

It's too 'Prussian' for me.
The square and the entire buildings are new, but...
...however, the owners should reconsider how they treat their customers. For example, the owner made a point of placing all the guests in rows so that there would be enough space for them when they arrived later. Hello?? There were 8 (!) tents and vehicles on the site. And there are 100 pitches. Still... no free choice of pitch! Absolutely ridiculous. What's more, the prices are in the top third. That really annoyed me. I won't be going there again. There are other places nearby (1km) that are more relaxed.

Bardzo przyjemne pole, nowe, jest restauracja
Bardzo mili właściciele, czyste sanitariaty, pralka. Prąd i wifi dla wszystkich w cenie. Jest maly plac zabaw. Dojazd lepszy od Raznova, a z drugiej strony są serpentyny. Dobra baza wypadowa. Za noc 2 doroslych 2 dzieci wyszlo 110 lei. Polecam, bo w poblizu Brasova chyba najlepsze! I piekne widoki na gory!

The perfect way to relax in nature
A bit longer to get there from the main road, but it's worth te drive. The paved road has been fixed since we last went there. A little piece of heaven hidden in the woods.

Czysto, w miarę cicho (pomijając dzieci), bar z piwem na miejscu.

Niezbyt tanio, wszędzie daleko i FATALNA droga dojazdowa.
Chyba zbyt dużo zachwytów.
Kemping położony w dolinie między górami. FATALNA droga dojazdowa - 2-3 kilometry dużych dziur. Naprawdę można by to poprawić, ale chyba nikomu nie zależy! Łatwo przegapić zjazd w kierunku kempingu a w okolicy nikt z pytanych o nim nie słyszał. Obsługa mówi po angielsku, jest miła, choć ciut przesadnie... dba o konkretne ustawienie na polu namiotowym. Toalety czyste, ale z racji nie do końca zabudowanych wszystkich ścian jest w nich zimnawo. Na kempingu jest bar z piwem i plac zabaw dla dzieci. Po sąsiedzku ponoć restauracja. Dość wysokie ceny sięgające 70-80 złotych za 2 osoby, namiot i auto - najwyżej jak płaciliśmy w Rumunii. Do tego wszędzie daleko, bo to naprawdę zadupie. Obiekt przyzwoity ale bez przesady.
