The room is centrally located and right next to the sanitary facilities, which were always clean. The room was also clean and comfortable. Firework-free zone throughout the site, which was very beneficial for our dog. Very nice and competent staff. There was a cozy party on New Year's Eve. Arrival and departure was quick and uncomplicated.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Christin R.November 2023PozytywnePeace, relaxation, nature, WLAN, centrally located to explore many sights in the region. Very good serviceNegatywneActually you should write, unfortunately there is no bread service in the winter months. We can't do that, the operators fetched bread rolls for the guests who were there.Beautifully idyllic, here you can slow downDue to repair work on our WW we camped in a different way. You could say we had a glamping vacation here.
We spent a good week in one of the beautiful chalets. 2 adults, 1 teenager. We had a super friendly welcome, everything was explained to us and we were given lots of information about the area....
The chalet had everything you need for a stress-free vacation. Modern furnishings and equipped with everything.
Coffee machine, toaster, microwave, pots and pans, crockery etc. Even a large and a small towel and toilet paper for everyone :)
The beds were made and comfortable.
We were able to borrow games from the office.
The place is spacious and has a great old tree population. (We will definitely come back when the oaks have leaves)
What is important for us as campers .... There is a beautiful modern sanitary building with warm underfloor heating, just right for the weather.
The sinks are indoors. What we really liked here was the bookshelf. Here you could borrow books or take them with you. And if you have one left over, you can put it on the shelf for the next one.
There is a dog shower at the back and a station for fresh and gray water and a disposal facility for chemical toilets.
The surrounding area is really good for short or long hikes. There are great, challenging trails directly from the site. The robber trail with its fun tasks is suitable for young and old. We are now robbers with a diploma. You get this at the office when you have completed all the tasks. :)
The Auenlandweg is also well worth a visit.
There is a nice village 4 km away with lots of shops.
There are some sights in the area that were worth visiting. There are 2 swimming pools within 10 km. Both with a nice sauna.
This place must be recommended. We say thank you and would love to come back.Przetłumaczone automatycznie. - Corinna K.July 2023PozytywneNice, quiet, free choice of seats, great bread roll serviceNegatywneStorage facilities, hooks and shelves are missing in the sanitary building (but that's no reason not to go there)Friendly and very uncomplicatedWe spent a weekend here, were allowed to check in at 7pm on Fridays, were able to order bread rolls for the next day and had free choice of pitch. The pitches are a little uneven in places, but that's not a problem. The wash house is modern, the toilet cubicles are large, there are several wash places... next to each other and a single wash cubicle as well as several large shower cubicles. In the showers, it would be nice to have a storage space for shower utensils, as well as a few hooks for towels near the washing areas. But this is apparently being planned. There are washing machines and dryers and plenty of washing-up areas in the building. You only have to leave the pitch by 1 pm on departure. That's great. However, it is also possible to leave later if you pay half the daily rate, so that you can still use the day or possibly dry a tent if the journey home doesn't take that long.
At the reception you can buy small items for your daily (camping) needs, chilled drinks and also bread toppings and venison sausage were available.
Booking and payment were very straightforward, and electricity, showers and garbage were included in the price.
We will be back.Przetłumaczone automatycznie. - Dennis H.October 2021Pozytywnethe location is very nice. surrounded by beautiful nature Great wash house and sanitary facilitiesNegatywnePassage meadow a disaster holes totally uneven. A large playground for children and friendly, competent staff. And also inspired by ecological sustainability. Highly recommended for those who (not only in times of pandemic) want tourism to be a little gentler.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.

Very spacious campsite.NegatywneThere are no downsides!Quiet, clean campsite, beautiful nature, many hiking trails, friendly peopleWe enjoyed our stay in the Ferienwohnung. We saw the squirrels from our window. Were awakened in the morning by birdsong. From the campground go several hiking trails, and close by are also many hiking opportunities. We will definitely come back!Przetłumaczone automatycznie.

- Annette F.May 2018PozytywneOperator Friendly, Quiet, CleanNegatywneDisposal for the cassette toilets could be brought up to dateNice friendly operatorOn Father's Day 2018, we used this site for a short trip to test it for a camper meeting in the fall. The reception was friendly and we were directed to the pitch we had chosen. In general, the place was nice and quiet and under the ancient oaks you are really idyllic. Despite being 12 years old, the... sanitary building was well maintained and kept in good condition. It was always clean and attractive even though there were about 200 bikers from the Netherlands there this weekend in addition to the normal guests. Of course there was a traffic jam in the sani in the morning and evening. The hiking possibilities are beautiful in the surrounding area and if you are already there you should not miss the tour "Weltende" from Stein-Wingert. Unfortunately we couldn't try the adjacent restaurant as we were turned away on 2 consecutive days because of the bikers who were being catered for there, even though the normal opening hours were posted. For us another reason to play self-catering in the future because we will gladly book the place again privately.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Marc I.November 2017PozytywneVery favorable Quiet CleanQuiet place in the WesterwaldCentrally located between two excursion destinations, we opted for this campsite. Not a bad decision! - Lothar B.September 2015PozytywneQuiet placeNegatywneThe groundskeeper should at least adhere to the office hours he has indicated.Too bad that the last week of vacation was like this!!!We were 11 days on the C.P.in the first week it was reasonable and clean, but after the English (traveling people) came, it went downhill with the cleanliness.they had two puppies about 8 - 12 weeks with them, they were tied day & night on a short leash and kept in a transport box, the groundskeeper looked generously over it.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Patka G.August 2015Suuuper friendly place! We were the only guests with a tent among many permanent campers - and were looked after sooo nicely!!! When we asked about options for a short excursion, we were given detailed suggestions as if we were in a travel agency :-) And when a storm announced itself, we were offered the opportunity to move... out of the tent into a hiker's room at any time - how good that we accepted this suggestion....! The sanitary facilities are a hit and are really only surpassed by the friendliness of the campsite management... We'll be back, that's for sure...Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- eric v.July 2015Quiet and relaxingWe stayed at this campsite for 7 days in july. the peace and quiet and the atmosphere under the huge oak trees is unique. we read, went for walks, visited the surrounding towns and villages to eat ice cream and go shopping. wonderful. during my walks with the dog in the forest, I didn't meet a single... person for hours. if you are looking for action and fun, you should drive well away from the campsite. we were looking for the opposite and were able to recharge our batteries. very friendly and competent people at the reception, many tips for activities in the surrounding area, reasonably priced. ecological awareness clearly visible: short water intervals, waste separation, solar cells, waste fee. many permanent campers, older people who have worked a lot all their lives and can afford an island for retirement.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.

- Hannelore M.May 2015PozytywneScenic beauty, with many sights to enjoy in silence.NegatywneNone for us!Silence and idyll in the "oak forest"We - two senior citizens from Hamburg - really enjoyed this particularly idyllic campsite: perfectly embedded in nature and surrounded by peace and quiet. It was also ideal for excursions, to name just a few examples: Hachenburg Landscape Museum, Marienstatt Abbey with arched stone bridge, Druidenstein,... Kroppacher Schweiz with suspension bridge over the Nister, Raiffeisenturm with great panoramic views over the Westerwald, stone waterfall on the Sieg with elevated views, Windeck castle ruins - to name just a few sights. Not to mention the unique scenic beauty all around. We are on a tour of Germany and have even extended our stay here for another week. This campsite was a "gem" for us and we can only recommend it! We would love to come back!Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
