- Dieter S.September 2018Pozytywnebeautiful location on the AllierNegatywnemuddy pitchesBeautiful place on the AllierWe wanted to paddle on the Allier in September, but the canoe station was already closed. The site consists of 2 parts, everything was open and in good, clean condition. Unfortunately the pitches are a bit muddy. There is a nice swimming pool near the reception, which was only moderately used in September.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Andreas und Petra S.May 2017Attractive location on the riverMedium-sized, very quiet site with around 80 pitches, partly terraced. In mid-May, only the front half of the site was open, where we were able to choose our pitch freely. The pitches are mostly generously sized and have grassy grounds, which became very muddy after a night of rain. WiFi is available... free of charge in the reception area. The men's toilets in the wash house were locked (without further notice). As unisex washrooms are not uncommon in France, I took this as an invitation to use the ladies' toilets, which earned me a few nasty looks, as the ladies probably didn't know that the men's toilets were locked. The toilets are seated without the corresponding glasses and you have to bring your own paper. There are no coat hooks in the cubicles to hang up a towel or jacket. Bread could be pre-ordered and should be ready from 9am. When no bread was available by 9:30 the following morning, we drove to the town of Brioude, 2km away, for breakfast. Although the campsite had been open since March 6 (for 2 ½ months!), we had the feeling that the site was still deep in hibernation. (see photos) In mid-May, we paid €16 for a motorhome with 2 people, including electricity.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
