- Lars P.July 2023PozytywneSpacious pitches, very level pitches, professional site management, electricity, water and waste water at every pitch, efficient sanitary facilities, baguette service, landscaped grounds, large pool area, sports facilities (tennis, soccer, boules, etc.) available, spacious waiting lane in the entrance area, only 4.0 km from beautiful Honfleur and the Seine estuaryNegatywneUnnecessarily many speed bumps on the main paths, no power connection via Euro-CE plugs (only Schuco connections at the power pillars), no card payment possible (only cash), sanitary facilities not separated by gender.Professional campsite near Honfleur, NormandyWe were on our way back to Germany and wanted to spend an evening in Honfleur, which is why we spent a night here. We were lucky enough to get a free pitch on a Monday at around 4pm without having to book in advance. The registration process is professional and uncomplicated. Please note that you can... only pay in cash, no cards are accepted (at all!!). The pitches are large and equipped with water, waste water and of course electricity. Electricity only via "normal" Schuco plugs, which causes problems for some campers. Part of each pitch is graveled and offers a firm footing even in the rain. All pitches are separated from each other by hedges, with a few trees in between.
The sanitary facilities are modern and efficient. Unfortunately, there is no soap at the washbasins and there is no separation between men and women. Showers are warm, with sufficient water pressure even at peak times.
The main roads on the pitch and in the waiting lane area have an unnecessarily large number of speed bumps, which gave our caravan a good shake.
There is a spacious pool area and some well-kept sports facilities. Baguette service can be ordered in advance at reception. WLAN is available on site, but we didn't use it. The rear part of the site is dominated by permanent campers and rental mobile homes.
It is only 4.0 km to Honfleur, which is always worth a visit. However, the long uphill ride back to the campsite by bike is difficult, or rather, a very challenging training session 😉
We can recommend Camping la Briquerie and would love to come back again.Przetłumaczone automatycznie. - Klemens P.June 2023Pozytywneclean sanitary facilities, close to the town of Honfleur, gastronomy on siteNegatywneDifficult walkBeautiful campsiteWe used the campsite as a stopover on our way to Brittany. The reception was very friendly and they speak English. The site was very large and had water, waste water, electricity, everything you need. The sanitary facilities were clean, paper and soap available. There is also a pool, a fitness room and... various leisure facilities on the site. There is a large supermarket nearby, very suitable for getting everything you need, but a little difficult for dog owners to go for a walk.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Peter L.May 2022PozytywneSuper equipmentNegatywneNo disadvantages discoveredGreat placeWe were only there when we were passing through, but this place is also good for a complete vacation. Great location, super facilities, nothing is missing.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Andrea K.September 2019PozytywneWater incl. sink on every pitchNegatywneWatch out for wind, especially on the upper plateau. Pay attention to the condition of the pitch (sometimes very slippery in the rain if there is no grass)Beautiful, well-kept campsite in the immediate vicinity of HonfleurVery well-kept campsite with parceled out pitches on different levels, only 2 km from the beautiful town of Honfleur. Each pitch has a water connection including a sink and there is a garbage can between every 2 pitches, which is emptied daily. The staff at reception and the workers on the pitch are... very friendly and helpful. There is an InterMarché (supermarket) in the immediate vicinity and a bakery in the middle of the village. There are various sports facilities and a large boules court on the site. The sanitary buildings were always clean. There is a hairdryer in every cabin with a washbasin, but there is no soap at the washbasins in the toilet area. I don't think that's okay for a 5-star pitch and for me it's standard for such a categorization. Toilet paper is available. We did not test the restaurant. What is also a little "annoying" are the many barriers to calm traffic on the pitch and in front of the reception. Everyone normally drives at walking speed on a campsite and doesn't speed over them... All in all, a beautiful, recommendable campsite. I recommend paying attention to the wind and sheltering yourself accordingly. It can be quite strong, especially on the upper plateau. WLan worked great.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Kerstin I.September 2019PozytywneSuper sanitary facilities, bus connection to the city, large supermarket within walking distancePerfect for visiting HonfleurFor us, a campsite only feels good if there are proper sanitary facilities. These here really leave nothing to be desired, are as good as new and well maintained. The reception is very friendly and professional. The pitches are allocated, which is probably the only way to deal with the large crowds,... even in the low season. The pitches are flat, large and separated by hedges, and the paths to the two sanitary buildings are short. Most campers are probably here to see the town of Honfleur, which is well worth a visit. There is a bus stop about 5 minutes from the campsite. The timetable is available at reception. For 50 cents per person, the bus will take you into town within 5 minutes. This campsite is the ideal starting point for visiting Honfleur.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Nico V.July 2019PozytywneNice pool, near honfleur although with regular bike quite challengingNegatywneBy bike little to cycle in the area. Pay everything in cashCamping with potentialLittle to do in campground. Fitness room in very poor condition. Reception though friendly, but gives little information. - Corina H.September 2018PozytywneGreat wash house as good as newNegatywneSeveral concrete sleepers and 3 rows of parked cars on the driveway, making access by trailer difficultOur favorite!Very good wash house, quiet location of the CP and lots of green around it. Close to Honfleur and restaurant at the CP, supermarket and gas station within walking distancePrzetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Hartmut S.August 2018PozytywneStarting point for many sights in NormandyNegatywneWashrooms closed from 11 p.m. to 7.30 a.m., annoying for early departuresCentral location for many pointsBeautiful large pitches, mostly bordered by hedges. Swimming pool on site, 1 pool covered. The large supermarket/bakery is a 5-minute walk away. For dinner down to Honfleur (full of tourists!!) it is about 5 km by car. Excursions are worthwhile south to Colleville-sur-mer, where the Americans landed... in 1944 on Omaha Beach, a huge American military cemetery. In Lisieux (the basilica is worth seeing) there is a German military cemetery. To the north of C-Platz over the 2 huge bridges in le Havre, Etretat and Fecamp are great towns on the cliffs that are definitely worth seeing!Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Hartmut B.June 2017PozytywneIdeal for relaxing and exploring the area. Honfleur is nearby (caution: tourist madness). Shopping in the village.NegatywneNoneEverything o.k.The campsite is easy to reach from Honfleur. The SP are generously sized. Friendliness and service are professional. If you are motorized, you can easily drive to Honfleur to eat. Overall a good campsite for 1 or more nights.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Cornelia G.May 2017PozytywneAll good!Super placeVery nice campsite, great pitches, clean sanitary facilities, swimming pool, fitness room etc. Everything available. We had a very good meal in the restaurant. We took the bus to Honfleur for €0.50. Honfleur is well worth a visit. All in all, nothing to complain about! :-)Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Walter K.September 2016PozytywneClean, quiet, inexpensive and close to the beautiful citiesNegatywneNone (despite specified cash payment)Calm and relaxedVery nice site with large pitches. The whole site, including the sanitary facilities, is very well maintained. Excursions to Honfleur (3.5 km, goes by bike, only back very steeply uphill) and Deauville 16 km recommended. Low season price for 2 pers. incl. WIfi under 20 EuroPrzetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Thomas M.June 2016PozytywneLarge pitch with supply and disposal incl. waste garbage can. Payment on departure and not on arrival.NegatywnePayment can only be made in cash, cards are not accepted. We stayed longer than planned...The site is ideally located for exploring eastern Normandy on day trips. Therefore very suitable for caravans, less suitable for motorhomes. Etretat, Honfleur, Fécamp and Rouen are all within easy reach.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Alice W.June 2016PozytywneFriendly reception. Everything included in the price, WLAN and showers.Negatywne---Gladly again at any time.We spent 2 nights at the "La Briquerie" campsite and felt very comfortable. Friendly welcome at the reception. Good pitch. You can take a nice walk to Honfleur on a side road with hardly any traffic. Nice place. WLAN free of charge. Free showers. Shower water a little too hot, cannot be regulated.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Rolf K.May 2016PozytywneEasily accessible, friendly welcome, quiet and relaxing, safe.NegatywneA little far from the water for beach lovers.Clean, well-organized place with friendly staffClean, well organized, safe due to surveillance and friendly people. Site easily accessible, huge supermarket and DIY store with gas station next door. Located approx. 3-5 km from Honfleur and in the other direction from the beach. Accordingly quiet and relaxing.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Wolfgang P.April 2016PozytywneClean campsite, spacious pitches with friendly staff and a good starting point for Honfleur and Deauville.Clean, friendly and close to the sightsWe were there for a few days right after the season opened, everything was clean and well maintained. The reception staff are very friendly and multilingual. The pitches are gradually being partially gravelled, fine gravel for the vehicle, grass for the stay, or vice versa, depending on how you want... to stand. The sanitary facilities were very clean and seemed relatively new. However, there were still very few campers there at the beginning of April 2016 and the leisure facilities such as the swimming pool etc. were still closed. The location is excellent for getting to Honfleur (50 cents) or Deauville (2.50 euros) by bus and there is a large supermarket right next door. All in all, a great place.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Fernande W.September 2015PozytywneYou can walk dogs even in the dark without danger from traffic. Quiet place, friendly staff, good restaurant.NegatywneLots of mud on the pitches when it rains.Nice campsite but poor drainage of the pitches when it rains a lotIt had rained heavily before we arrived and all the pitches were very, very muddy. On the first night there was also a lot of rain, we made do with a rubber mat and lots of wipes in the caravan, we humans can take off our shoes but the dogs brought a lot of dirt inside, there was a huge pool in front... of the caravan door which only dried out slowly. Otherwise a beautiful, very well-kept site with very friendly staff. Bread order worked every day. Swimming pool (indoor) very pleasant, outdoor pool unfortunately already closed, mini-golf boring and in need of some minor renovation. Proximity to supermarket very pleasant, tip: order seafood platter the day before, pick up in the evening before eating, very reasonably priced, fresh and beautifully arranged. The restaurant impressed us so much that we practically became regular customers during the week of our stay, I don't know where the lady with the plastic tablecloths and various other niggles ate, but we never saw any tablecloths made of any material but always fresh disposable tablecloths, the chips were crispy, the menu was good value, plentiful and delicious, the two waiters were attentive, hard-working and friendly and the glasses were clean. Tip for dog owners: in the west of the small town of Honfleur, beautiful park with adjoining beach, free parking, watch out for drifting sand and currents at low tide on the beachPrzetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Birgit D.July 2015PozytywneLarge plots, close to HonfleurNegatywneTerrible restaurantGreat place - horrible restaurantGreat location close to the beautiful town of Honfleur. Accessible by bus every hour in summer for very little money. The pitches are large and level and bordered by high hedges. The sanitary facilities are very clean and modern. The reception is very friendly and helpful. They even speak some German.... There is a well heated swimming pool - one pool is indoors and one outdoors, as well as nice slides for the children. The restaurant is only recommended if you like dirty plastic tablecloths, badly washed glasses and terrible food. If the waiter is not smoking in front of the door, he brings steaks like the soles of shoes with cold chips or soggy pizza. The best thing on my menu of the day was the warm puff pastry pie with camembert. But that must have come from the freezer of the local supermarket. The restaurant is a disgrace for what is actually a very good place.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Uwe-Jens J.June 2015PozytywneGood connection to HonfleurNegatywneI would only give the place 2 stars3 nights maximumNice helpful staff. Plots very large, well maintained approx. 1.50 m high hedge. Sanitary good, could be a little more and a little better maintained. Unfortunately no temperature control in all showers on the site. Water comes very hot. In the restaurant it is a bit unkempt (tablecloths and so on) have preferred to cook themselves.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Martin W.June 2015PozytywneLarge, well-kept pitches, catering no problemsNegatywneShower water temperature not adjustableAlmost perfect placePitches very large, very nice, well-kept, hedge approx. 1.50 m high on three sides. Sanitary facilities good, could be a bit more and a bit better maintained. Perhaps the main building was better. Unfortunately no temperature control in all showers on the site. Water comes out very hot, which may be... good in winter. However, when it is over 30 degrees outside, as it was during our stay, showering is not pleasant. WLAN works mediocre, but is free of charge. Vile leisure facilities: Boccia, basketball court, mini golf, swimming pool (also covered), games room, table soccer, billiards, childcare, playground, all free of charge. A large supermarket with everything is 1-2 minutes' walk away. There is also a bus stop. On-site restaurant with take-away food and a creperie. Breakfast baguette by reservation. ADAC discount in low season.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Michael T.August 2013Basically a very nice site with all-inclusive services. As is often the case in France, the wash house capacity is a little tight in the high season. The pitches are very nice and large and paved for motorhomes and caravans with adjacent lawns. Wash houses with showers and washbasins and hot water everywhere.... Many extras such as restoration, bread ordering. Price for 2p/caravan/electricity in August €34.00. Swimming pool available and included in the price.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
