    Just a stroll away from the old town
    We wanted to get to know Bergerac and found the walk along the river and then over the bridge into the old town very pleasant. The showers are a bit poorly planned in terms of ventilation, so unfortunately it was a bit musty.

    Camping La Pelouse
    Campsite on the banks of the Dordogne River, walking distance from the center of Bergerac. Camping is very clean, certainly no nuisance of ducks/geese during our stay. New sanitary facilities, which are kept very clean. Friendly and correct manager. WIFI at reception, included. Bread available from 8 am. Good starting point for visiting Bergerac and surroundings.

    Bergerac
    Beautiful site located directly on the river with large trees. Old, and therefore rather basic, facilities. Unfortunately, there was a bit too much dog waste on the tent meadow - there shouldn't have been. Otherwise everything was okay. Price: approx. 6.50 per person with tent and bike for one night. Bread roll service in the morning.
