Just 3.5km walk to the city centre( Hilly though) . We didn’t book just arrived reception was seamless and WiFi was ok. €82 for 2 nights with electricity. Toilets and showers were cleaning plenty hot water. Large shopping centre 300 metres

Campsite on a steep hill. Site was a bit tight and I did say we were in an 8 metre Motorhome.

We didn’t use the pool or the restaurant (which looked busy in the evenings)

Only conditionally suitable for caravans
Despite booking in advance with all the length and width details, you have to find a pitch yourself. We were lucky that a larger motorhome had just vacated a pitch, so we had the depth to park our car at right angles to the drawbar. The pitches are simply too small for caravans, the access roads are... narrow and dead ends. If selfish fellow campers park their cars halfway along the path, you can't get out of the narrow space.
At the entrance and exit, there is a complete mess, as there are no stopping lanes and the path is only wide enough for one vehicle anyway.
Sanitary building far too small for the number of guests, reasonably clean, like the whole site.
The campsite is simply overpriced for what it offers, but only 2 km from the cathedral.

I can agree with the previous reviews. Close to the city and generally well maintained. We found the bus ride into town and back very tedious. No specific information about bus stops and times. More information from the campsite would be desirable.

Santjago around the corner
The only square in Santjao impresses with its proximity to the city center. You can walk down in about half an hour or take a bus, although the frequency is not particularly high. The pitches are quite narrow and the access road is very steep and requires some skill from motorhome drivers. The restaurant... is fine, there is WiFi and the staff were remarkably friendly. There is a huge shopping center a few meters away where you can buy everything you need.

Terraced, well-kept pitch, steep access road in the pitch area. Ideal for visiting Santiago. Nice clean sanitary building. Shopping center approx. 15 min. on foot. Bus stop 200 m, ride to the center approx. 15 min. Good information is available at the reception.

On this urban camping can not look next to the waste of resources, especially regarding sanitary infrastructure. Megalomaniac very expensive installations, but very unsociable, (you imagine yourself in the Eastern Bloc) half of the installations remain closed even in high season because of too few campers.... The very expensive buildings are thus neglected which makes the whole even more unsociable. The campground has +- 400 pitches, but on our visit in mid-August about 10% of capacity was occupied. The closest public transportation to the city is a little more than half an hour on foot from the campground (missed opportunity) By bike is also possible, but take into account a very steep return to the campground.

Ideal place to visit Santiago de Compostella as part of a camper van trip along the Way of St. James. A few minutes to the bus station and then about 15 minutes to the center.

The place lives solely from its proximity to Santiago. The staff are great and internet is free (!). The pitches themselves can only be reached via a very steep access road, where you should pay close attention to the road damage. The site is terraced and you (still) have a view of the city, which is... currently changing thanks to a building site. Sanitary facilities are ok and clean! Nothing for longer stays, but no alternative for a visit to the city.

A decent campsite that particularly stands out due to its proximity to the city of Santiago. Nothing for a vacation but OK for sightseeing. They make an effort. Laundry service is great. Pool is also very nice. The sanitary facilities could be better.

There was just a construction site, so it was not so quiet, but since it is an absolute transit campsite and everyone just wants to visit the city, this does not matter. Nice staff.

A not very attractive site, expensive compared to the standard. The advantage is that it is the only campsite located in Santiago de Compostella and with a 2 minute walk to the bus.
