Pitches ok only the sanitary facilities are not clear to me. One women's toilet and one unisex toilet. Everything is a bit outdated but functional. The restaurant on site serves reasonable food at reasonable prices. The pitches are large enough, but you should bring a few meters of cable, as the electricity boxes sometimes only come after two other pitches.
The sanitary facilities are being / have been redesigned and are well maintained.
The restaurant at the CP offers simple meals and the staff are very friendly.

WLAN is sometimes yes sometimes no, and if so, only in the reception area.

The campsite is the only one in Verdun and the surrounding area, so you hardly have a choice. The location of the campsite and the pitches around a lake, where you can also fish, is very nice... and the separation of the pitches by high vegetation shields you well from the neighbors. However, the sanitary facilities are no longer in really good condition. The outdoor pool (more of a pool) with slide was very popular with our children, but is technically in a desolate state. The pool equipment and slides do not seem to be maintained. There is a small playground for smaller children (up to approx. 6 years). The pitches are spacious, green and fenced off with hedges (in some places). There is a small pond in the middle of the site, a stream and a small pool that is very popular.... The reception, a mini-market with bread service (on advance order) and the restaurant are integrated in the registration building. The restaurant also has a terrace, partly shaded. The food is very simple but edible. Sanitary facilities simple but clean. Unfortunately... not heated. 15 min walk to the center of Verdun, 30 min by bike to the historical sites of the 1st World War. Good base to explore the sites of the 1st World War. Old sanitary which was clean. It was cleaned twice a day, which was sufficient at Easter. In addition, the ladies toilet was or is being renovated. Very good coffee in the site's own bistro, we can't say anything... about the food on offer. Verdun can be explored on foot in about two hours, the city center is about 15 minutes on foot. The pitches are partly bordered by high hedges and a bit muddy if it rains for a long time. Excellent bread roll service (from eight in the morning). When paying we were charged the cheaper Acsi rate even though we didn't have a discount card. Otherwise, it is really only acceptable for transit travelers. The sanitary facilities are modest. The ladies' toilets were closed due to building work. You had to share the few men's toilets.... There is no toilet paper. The men's urinals are open to the campsite and can be seen from there. The service in the restaurant was such that after being ignored by the staff for 10 minutes, we decided to make our way into town and had a very good meal in the Anna Maria restaurant.
