    Huge Municipal at the nö. end of Oleron
    Unfortunately, only cold water came out of the showers during our stay. The sanitary facilities are very open. Therefore uncomfortable in windy conditions. Expensive internet. But the basic price is cheap.

    Huge municipal campsite DIRECTLY by the sea. However, it is the side of the island facing the land and therefore there are no mega waves here. So it's risk-free for an Atlantic vacation with small children. There is also a lot of seaweed. But you can get to other beaches within 10 minutes by car, which have less seaweed and slightly bigger waves.
