- Monika D.June 2019PozytywneClean sanitary facilities Quiet atmosphere Short walk to the beachNegatywneCold water in flushing systems Intermittent cold water in the men's showers and flushing facilities No toilet paperCampingWe stayed at the campsite in July 2019. We really liked this campsite. The staff are very nice. The beach is not too far away (5 minutes walk). In addition, it was also very quiet, but that may also be due to the low season. It is certainly different in high season. Unfortunately, we only saw later that... the pitches have a beautiful view of the mountains from the entrance on the left... just as a tip. Otherwise, all the pitches are well shaded. I can say that the sanitary facilities are really very clean. You just have to bring your own toilet paper!!! I can also say that the men's showers and dishwashers often had cold water.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Alexander T.August 2016PozytywneClose to the beach Close to the supermarket Proximity to CalviNegatywneNothingGreat place to explore CalviWe actually wanted to go to the Cle de Champs campsite, but it was too small for our mobile (3.15 m high). That's why we switched to the Paduella campsite. As we had been to other campsites before, we realized that the price for Calvi was still expensive compared to the others, but ok. Very friendly... and helpful staff. The sanitary facilities were very clean and there are large showers. Despite a sufficient number, there were short waiting times for showers in the evening. About 5 - 10 minutes walk to the beach, 20 minutes to Calvi. Geant supermarket within walking distance (approx. 5 minutes), Casino supermarket (approx. 10 minutes) within walking distance. There is a bistro on site which we did not visit. We would definitely visit this place again.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.

- Steven J.September 2015PozytywneCleanliness, friendliness, proximity to the beach, sufficient shade, lively place, surroundingsGreat campsite close to the beach with excellent sanitary facilitiesUpdate 2015: Still one of the best places on the island for me. However, if you prefer wild and romantic Corsica, this is not the place for you. However, this also applies to the other campsites in Calvi. After 1990, 2001, 2003, 2006 and 2007, I stayed at CP Paduella in 2011 and most recently in 2014.... Except for 1990, always in the low season (May/June). A TOP campsite in Corsica!!! The friendly reception staff speak good English. You have a free choice of pitches (at least in the low season), the pitches are all parceled out, sufficiently large and mostly well leveled. Nevertheless, you should bring levelling wedges if you are staying in a camper van. There are plenty of shady pitches thanks to the tall trees. The two sanitary buildings were always super clean. There are plenty of electricity connections. If you are traveling without a tent, you can rent a spacious tent (4-6 beds, fridge, stove, table and chairs, awning). No problem in the low season, even without a reservation. Road noise is to be expected at the very front of the campsite. Otherwise it is nice and quiet. It was dead quiet from 10pm onwards. Next door is the vacation village "Zum stubborn donkey". In the high season, noise pollution from events may be expected here. There is no organized entertainment on the campsite itself, at least in the low season (fortunately!). There is a soccer pitch and a volleyball court for youngsters, and table tennis is also possible. There is a playground for younger holidaymakers. There is a high ropes course in the pine belt in front of the beach. As already mentioned, the sanitary facilities are well maintained. The cleaning team went through there at least 3 times a day. There are also 3 individual washing cubicles in the front sanitary building. The water for washing dishes is sufficiently warm. Plugs are available The showers are great. Thanks to the squeegee, the floor is always clean when you use it. You can shop in the huge supermarket about 500m away (towards Calvi). There is only a small bar on the campsite (drinks and ice cream, baguettes and croissants to order). To get to the beach you have to cross the main road (with children it is best to cross the crosswalk at the traffic circle). Then it goes through the pine belt and over the tracks of the Bummel-Bahn (there is also a stop here) directly to the kilometer-long sandy beach. The walk from the CP takes about 5 to max. 10 minutes. In the low season there are also plenty of parking spaces directly on the beach. The beach is fine sandy and slopes gently down to the water. You have to walk quite far out to swim (ideal for small children). The beach is not very wide and was quite crowded near the town even in June. If you like it quieter, walk a few hundred meters to the right on the beach. There are nice beach bars, mostly with sun loungers and umbrellas for hire (expensive). It is highly advisable to take an umbrella with you in May/June. The beach ends practically directly in front of Calvi. Ideal for strolling into the town in the evening. It takes about 30 minutes from the CP. There is now an illuminated boardwalk right next to the train tracks that leads almost into the town. Otherwise, the campsite is a great starting point for excursions into the Balagne region (also by bike for the more fit) and to the Forret de Bonifatu. Take the train to Ile Rousse - an experience! By the way, the CP prices are extremely moderate by Corsican standards. It was my cheapest campsite in Corsica so far. An absolute recommendation if you are camping in Calvi!Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Thorsten B.August 2015PozytywneClose to the beach and quiet placeNegatywnenoneSimple, solid campsite without animationWe stayed at the campsite for a total of 4 days, absolutely quiet, no frills, sanitary facilities were cleaned frequently. The beautiful beach of Calvi is within walking distancePrzetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Michael F.July 2015Pozytywne- Sanitary facilities are very clean - Very friendly / helpful staff - Top price / performance ratio - Very good pitchesNegatywne- Sanitary facilities are overcrowded at peak timesRecommended campsiteWe received a very friendly welcome and were able to choose our own pitch. All pitches have electricity and are in the shade. The sanitary facilities were always clean but reached their capacity limit at peak times. Small but good restaurant and a small store. The beach is within easy walking distance. All in all, a campsite worth recommending.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Sabine R.September 2014Pozytywnegood, central but quiet location, good price-performance ratioNegatywneNo hot water when rinsinggood location, good price-performance ratio, quiet at nightSimple place in Calvi. On foot approx. 25 min. to the city center, to the beach approx. 10 min. on foot through a small pine forest... Very good value for money. Sanitary facilities are very clean, everything you need is there, the facilities are divided into men's and women's areas, individual washing... cubicles, washing machines, etc. Everything is very clean. The only drawback was that only cold water was available for washing dishes. Supermarket just across the street. For us it was a great place to spend a night before getting back on the ferry...Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Sascha T.July 2014Pozytywne-beautiful beachGreat place near CalviWe stayed at this campsite for several days in July 2014. We received a very friendly welcome at reception and were given a pitch for our tent and car in the rear area. The whole site is very shady due to tall trees. The sanitary facilities are clean but at peak times there can be long waiting times... in the HS. There is no pool or entertainment but that didn't bother us as the beautiful beach is a 10-minute walk away. From there you have a very nice view of Calvi with the citadel. The campsite has a small kiosk where you can buy the essentials. It takes about 30 minutes to walk to Calvi. Overall, a very nice place that we will definitely visit again.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Matthias B.September 2012Very nice, pleasant campsite with very clean sanitary facilities, which are cleaned several times a day; a very nice sandy beach, which can be reached on foot in 5 minutes. It is very suitable for families with small children as it slopes gently. It also has a breathtaking view of Calvi, a romantic town... with many beach restaurants and stores for shopping. Clavi can be reached on foot in about 30 minutes, a supermarket in 5 minutes. The only drawback was that the showers no longer had hot water. Very good value for money. The best campsite we visited in Corsica.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Anita C.October 2011A great campsite that I can only recommend. The price/performance ratio is totally right here. We would even say it's rather too cheap. The sanitary facilities are very, very clean. The only "minus" is that the hot water is only lukewarm, but this was the case throughout Corsica. Plenty of shade on the... pitches. Ok, the exit at the campsite is a bit daft as there is always a lot of traffic on the main road, but someone usually stops and you can get out. We also spoke English at reception and very little German. The town of Calvi is a 20 minute walk away. Various grocery stores in the immediate vicinity.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Timo K.June 2011A beautiful place. Large pitches. The reception is friendly, but less helpful if you don't speak much French (they only speak French). The sanitary facilities are really great. The cleanest I have ever seen on the island and for the price (around 20.50 for 2 people + petit bus + tax). Disadvantage of... the site: you have to cross the road to the beach, about 5 minutes in beach shoes). There was a German disco right next door that played "Ballermann songs" half the night. Up at the campsite you wouldn't have to listen to it anymore because we were right next to the fence.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Hermann E.September 2010Cleanest campsite sanitary facilities in Corsica, shady site, convenient location near town, beach and mountains, very friendly operator. We have been there 8 times.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
