It was only a short stay to visit Dubrovnik, but we really enjoyed it.
Attention dog owners: dogs are NOT allowed on the buses to Dubrovnik!!! That's why we gladly took advantage of the private cab service offered to us! 50 euros there and back, but with... a dog and directly to the entrance to the old town - with the parking prices in Dubrovnik there is not much difference!

Veliki prostran kamp sa dovoljno tus kabina,toaleta i sudopera tako da nema guzve. Izuzetno je čisto i održavano i cena je zaista pristupačna. Momci koji rade su veoma ljubazni i atmosfera u kampu je izuzetno prijatna. Ispod kampa je plaza ,a pored... ulaza u kamp je autobuska stanica pa mozete otici do Dubrovnika po ceni voznje od 2,5€ po osobi po smeru buduci da je cena parkinga u Dubrovniku 7€ za sat ovo je najbolja opcija. The site is located directly on the main road to Dubrovnik and has corresponding road noise in the upper area. However, the noise is hardly noticeable on the terraces facing the beach. There are also shady spots under old trees - the... atmosphere here is idyllic in contrast to the upper area. A little skill is required when approaching with a large motorhome or caravan. The campsites here are also located on beautiful flat plots.
The descent and especially the ascent from the beach require stamina and another shower.

On the negative side, we rated the steep path to the beach and that it was very small. On the first day, nobody had anything against... our dog swimming there. On the following days it was not tolerated and we had to go further to the right. Very idyllic location, had a wonderful pitch with a sea view.
The sanitary facilities were all very clean.
There is a bus stop directly in front of the campsite, with a bus to Dubrovnik... leaving approximately every hour.
There is a great restaurant in the village of Orasac, although there are only about 4-5 dishes to choose from, but everything is fresh and very tasty, plus the view is really breathtaking.
Of course, the climb from the beach to the pitch is a bit difficult, but we didn't mind.
You can either walk up to the reception and then down again via a road to the beach, or you can take a narrow path down to the beach (especially from the lower pitches).

Small road leads to the beach (small areas, pebbles, concrete, pizzeria), 15% gradient, hardly any parking spaces and walking uphill an ordeal in the heat! In Orasac, the restaurant Savonari (+385(0)91/5288738 or 7669871) is highly recommended, reservation is advisable, a breathtaking view towards Dubrovnik and excellent cuisine. The site is located above a small beach, the path there is a bit adventurous but the idyllic setting makes up for it. There are pitches for every taste, whether under trees in the shade or with a direct view of the offshore... islands. The sanitary facilities are clean and well maintained. An ideal starting point for Dubrovnik, with a bus stop directly in front of the camp. The bus runs every hour. Shopping facilities nearby, but you have to move your car.
