The pitches are covered with nice grass, great for people with tents as well- Frank U.October 2018Ideal starting point for sightseeing in Sibiu and the surrounding areaCamping Sălişteanca in the small village of Săliște is a small, nice campsite near Sibiu (Hermannstadt). We stayed here at the end of August 2018 at the beginning of our tour of Romania/Bulgaria and then again for a few days at the beginning of October on our return journey. The site is small, quiet... and clean (the sanitary facilities are relatively new and very well maintained), the owner couple very friendly and helpful. There is a covered recreation room and a room with a table tennis table and other games. There is a small supermarket nearby where you can get (almost) everything, but there is also a small market in the village every day ... Restaurants are about 1.5 km away. The site is ideal for exploring the beauty and diversity of the region around Sibiu (including the old town and the open-air museum of Sibiu, the Fagaras Mountains with the Transfogaras High Road, the Transalpina ...).Przetłumaczone automatycznie.

Czyste i zadbane sanitariaty. Jest także pomieszczenie do zabaw dla dzieci i niewielka kuchnia. Camping znajduje się w bardzo urokliwym miasteczku, przez które przepływa rzeczka, a wokół niej ciekawe budynki, park, sklepiki i niewielkie bary... Wydaje się jakby czas tam się zatrzymał :) Ludzie uprzejmi, uśmiechnięci, pozdrawiają przybyszy...

- Joanna H.August 2015PozytywneClean, silent, cosy and safe place.NegatywneYou can't pay with credit card :-(Nice place and peopleWe came to this camping late evening, but the owner was outside, like he was waiting for us :-) We got our spot very fast and literally 10 minutes after arrival we could eat late dinner in our camper and rest. We got very good night sleep this night and very good hot bath next morning. Owner was super nice and talked good English. Our 2 dogs were more than welcomed and I can recomend this place for every tired Romania traveller.

They are very helpful. They have many guides and maps about place and mountains. Excellent equipments. I would recommend for every one: younger, elderly and parents with children. We spent there 4 nights. The best place because is near on... the mountains and city. Bathrooms are every day clean. Water is very hot. There is a place where you can play in table tennis, table football, billiards . Certainly in the future we will return to the Camping Saliste.

There is a cherry tree, amongst others, a picnic table underneath the grapes, a fridge and lots of possibilities for fun e.g. tabletennis. The owner is very very friendly and helpful. - Juliana H.June 2015Very friendly owners and nice campingareaWe had a great time at Salisteanca. Even it was already late in the evening, Iulian and his wife welcomed us very friendly. Toilets and showers were very clean, there was a room with indoor-activities (table-tennis and table-soccer), little kitchen available. The night was quiet and the owners are really... very helpful. Iulian recommended us great places to visit in the region and a beautiful route to Bucarest threw the mountains. Even if you need a place to stay just for the night, its perfect, because Salisteance is near to the highway. Thank you, Iulian and family, for the good time we had. Don S.July 2013This campsite surprised me in a very positive way! It's quite small but very clean and never got too full! We were there for 3 days! The operator was very nice but could not give any information, always referred to her husband! The shower and toilet were always clean and very spacious! There were also... some sockets for charging cell phones in the building! You can see many storks!
