- Gerhard R.June 2024PozytywnenoneNegatywneunfriendly, unbelievable arroganceNo place despite confirmationWe called at midday and asked to reserve a space for our motorhome.
We are told to come, there are enough places available. When we arrived in the afternoon, we were told with indescribable arrogance that everything was taken. You're out of luck. Try somewhere else. There's just a lot going on. That's no way to treat each other!Przetłumaczone automatycznie. - Matthias Z.May 2024PozytywneLocation to the cityNegatywneOld and dirty wash housesGood location, but nothing moreA somewhat winding campsite with direct access to the beach, the old town of Caorle is within walking distance. The staff are friendly.
The wash houses are a cheek! Old, dirty and absolutely too few for so many pitches...Przetłumaczone automatycznie. - Markus S.June 2023PozytywneVery good, beautiful location! Staff very friendly and helpful.NegatywneVery poor sanitary facilities, not cleaned enough. Watched the cleaning, just hosed down with water without detergent. Hygienic below any standard. What a shame actually:-(Too bad about the great campsiteWatched it being cleaned, just hosed down with water without detergent. Hygienic under any would. What a pity actually:-(Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Nini P.August 2022PozytywneGreat location on the beach, not too far to the center. Simple campsiteNegatywneCold water from time to timepleasant campsite!Simple campsite without a lot of frills. Right by the sea and quite natural. That's what I mean by camping!
Football and volleyball are possible directly in front of the beach, but there is a soccer pitch with basketball and a park with playground just around the corner. The restaurant and small store at the campsite are also good.Przetłumaczone automatycznie. - Michael J.August 2021PozytywneLocated directly by the sea; beach lounger included in the price; Caorle within walking distance; dog beachNegatywneOutward journey annoyingly long; only small and very small pitches without water (even if they are called Komfort); showers mostly only cold water and too few. Everything very outdated.Nicely located but very narrow and outdatedThe site can actually only be recommended for motorhomes or caravans with a mover. The pitches are small and the paths are very narrow. It is virtually pre
that you will break your car or caravan when maneuvering. We were lucky.
Also very poorly organized. They say on the phone that there are spaces... available and then shake their heads on site. Luckily we got a space after parking once! The family after us was unlucky, although they also said on the phone: come by, something is free.
Corona is being ignored. You can see that as a positive or a negative.Przetłumaczone automatycznie. - Sylvia B.June 2021PozytywneSmall and quietNegatywneSanitary facilities super old, defective, really bad. Somehow still nice, but far too expensive. Extremely too expensive. Because the campsite offers nothing. Price comparable to 4 stars, performance nothing 😉. So if it doesn't matter what the place costs, ok.RatingQuiet and nice. The restaurant on the campsite is very good and surprisingly cheap.
The campsite itself is extremely outdated. Far too expensive for that. No offers like ping pong or anything else. Beach closed/locked overnight.
Good location. Infrastructure rather zero. And far too expensive!!!Przetłumaczone automatycznie. - Peter K.June 2021PozytywneLocation is very good, staff very friendly with the exception of the bossNegatywneWe left after one day. The reason was the unfriendliness of the boss. The awning was too far out and various other unfriendly remarks. Unfortunately, this is not the Italian hospitality I have known for years. Not recommendedNot recommended. Boss of the campsite very unfriendly. But the staff was very friendly.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- luca c.September 2020Pozytywneseveral tree-lined courtesy clean quiet 3 km from the centerNegatywneif you can increase the umbrellas for people with dogs, that would be an extra pointConvenient and comfortableWith the dog is the ideal campground, but we saw several families, Besides that with the reserved beach is convenient in everything. For the center you walk about 3 km, it is good for your health. There is also a little train to the center.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Urs S.September 2019PozytywneClose to the town, directly on the large beach, beautifully laid out pitches.Negatywne-Nice place without frillsMunicipal campsite, rather small for this area, on the outskirts of Caorle. Natural terrain, partly terraced, with direct access to the sandy beach. The town center can be reached on foot in approx. 10 minutes. Pitches under tall pines and deciduous trees, often in alcoves. Some pitches are only suitable... for tent campers as they are not accessible by vehicle due to the terrain. However, there are also large flat pitches that can easily be occupied by campers or caravans. The sanitary facilities are basic but always clean and there are plenty of them dotted around the site. This is probably the only campsite in this area that does not have a swimming pool or annoying entertainment. With the campsite's guest card, parasols and sun loungers on the beach can be used free of charge. At the end of September it became rather uncomfortable on the beach because the entire beach infrastructure (parasols, sun loungers, checkroom huts, etc.) was dismantled with large excavators and tractors. Although the campsite is open until mid-October, the restaurant and the small store belonging to it were already closed in mid-September. We had reserved a pitch. On arrival, we were informed that our reserved pitch was unfortunately already occupied. As everything else that could have been accessed by a caravan was occupied, we had to make do with a pitch directly at the entrance opposite the reception. Otherwise, the staff were helpful and friendly.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.

- Nina S.May 2019Super campsite for a short vacationCamping SAnta Margherita is a very nice and above all a clean and well-kept campsite, you are in just a few minutes walk in the sweet town of Caorle, the beach invites you to linger but the sport is not too short! Great for short vacations!Przetłumaczone automatycznie.

- Franz F.July 2018NegatywneThere is probably not much being done about it. By the time the dogs arrive at the dog run, everything has already been done in front of and on the pitchesUnhygienic due to inconsiderate dog ownersWe have been guests on the site for many years and many dog owners let their dogs do their business on every tree in front of the pitches. Children then play in the sand and the management advertises a dog-friendly campsite. Unteachable dog owners should be banned from the site. There are at least 20 dogs on a long lead in front of our campsite. You don't hear a lot of friendly hints or you shouldn't make such a fussPrzetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Elisabeth B.June 2018Pozytywne- Location - large and flat pitches suitable for large motorhomesGood CP close to the center without frillsWe were given a large, flat pitch in mid-June without a reservation. The staff at reception were friendly throughout. The sanitary facilities are basic but reasonably clean, always difficult on sandy ground. The market has a good, absolutely sufficient selection, we did not try the restaurant. There are many bars and restaurants within walking distance. If you can do without entertainment and frills, you're in good hands here!Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Helmut H.June 2018PozytywneThe location, to the center and to the beachSome new thingsThe staff are still very friendly. Must be due to the management this year. It is also very pleasantly quiet on the pitch. The toilets are clean and some of the sanitary facilities have been renovated. There is a store and a restaurant again. Lunchtime and evening closing times are not observed. The barrier is open during lunchtime and cars drive in and out unhindered. WLAN is now free!!!!!Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Alexander F.August 2017Pozytywne- no pools, no animation - direct beach access - central locationNegatywne- Occasional loud noise from municipal event center (sports field, open-air theater)A pearl by northern Italian standards! We were at the campsite in August in the high season and came here quite spontaneously. First of all, we were looking for a campsite that didn't offer any pool area or any annoying entertainment, as we didn't think it was necessary. When we go to the seaside, for example, we don't need or want a pool... - I can get one in a municipal outdoor pool. In any case, in my experience, a campsite that "only" offers the basics is rarely or never found in northern Italy. And the municipal CP Santa Margherita is ideal here, as it doesn't offer pools, entertainment and the like. A big plus point is that as a tent camper (we were there with the tent trailer) you always get a pitch. We enquired one day before our arrival and were told that it would be no problem to pitch a tent. The pitches are very different and are divided into different categories. We were on a pitch in the "Blu" category, which offered a bit of shade and was sandy. The sanitary buildings were cleaned twice a day and are spread across the campsite and there is also - depending on how busy it is, but not always - reliably hot water. For those who need or would miss entertainment: this compensates for the direct location of the campsite in the town. Everything a tourist's heart desires is within walking distance. However, the central location also has its disadvantages: There is a public sports field right next to the campsite, which is also regularly used for music events, theater performances, etc. in the evenings and causes corresponding noise. Depending on the pitch, this can be louder or quieter, but if you are looking for absolute peace and quiet, it can be a considerable nuisance. During our stay, it usually ended at around 11.00 pm. In any case, it didn't particularly bother us... The campsite has direct access to the sea and the price of the pitch even includes an umbrella and two sun loungers. There is a small supermarket on the campsite, which is well-stocked but, to our surprise, offered absolutely competitive prices for many groceries, such as cold cuts and cheese. You can also get bread and rolls here (there is another bakery just outside the campsite). There is also a restaurant, which offers good food at reasonable prices - also for "out of home". As a family with two children, we paid around €46 per night here in the high season and were very satisfied overall. If you're still looking for a reasonably "original" campsite in northern Italy and the sea offers enough entertainment, this is the place for you.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.

- vo h.August 2016PozytywneDirect access to the sea, close to the town, some nice large shady areas, no noise from discos or entertainmentNegatywneMorning noise levelIt was niceSome pitches are allocated without a reservation, so if you arrive in good time you can stay for a longer period without booking. The pitches are as varied as they can be in a natural area: sandy, sometimes more, sometimes less green and shady, sometimes with a view of the sea, sometimes on a hill. Outdated,... simple but clean and functional showers and toilets without toilet paper, the proximity to the beach and the city center are a real plus. The music from some dance bars sometimes reached the campsite, but it was bearable and just part of Italy. We found the vehicles that plow the beach every morning more disturbing. The tipper truck that came to collect the garbage every day around nine was also a good substitute for an alarm clock. But you get used to everything and in the end we liked it so much that we even extended our stay.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Karlheinz W.June 2016PozytywneWell located on natural dunes! You can reach the center relatively quickly.NegatywneNo shopping facilities on site. The place is OK so farIt always depends on what you expect from a campsite. If you come to this campsite, you should be aware that there are no pools, bars, pizzerias or stores on site! We have been coming here for over 10 years, there used to be a mini-market and a small restaurant, but this has not been the case for 3 years.... So you have to go to the stores outside the campsite to do your shopping and eat out. The site is quiet, the service is friendly and the sanitary facilities are adequate. If you want peace and quiet and are looking for relaxation and don't have high expectations, this is the place for you. There is a bus stop in the immediate vicinity and a tourist train is always on the move. The old town is very beautiful and the promenade is perfect for an evening stroll.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
