Always enjoyed coming here, also because of the good food in the restaurant. Unfortunately that was no longer the case. An overpriced restaurant with Spanish cuisine in the middle of the Tyrolean mountains. Fortunately, there are very good restaurants with Tyrolean cuisine nearby. Mostly just as a stopover for our onward or homeward journey. This time we stayed for a week and were well served. The reception is very friendly and helpful. The pitches are spacious and the camper van can be parked easily and without any problems.... There is electricity and water nearby. The site has been made more accessible for tourists, as half of the site is occupied by permanent campers. I almost always had problems with the antenna connection and the disposal of waste water is also not optimally solved. The sanitary facilities are clean. Unfortunately there is no store on the site, but a Spar is not far away and opens early in the morning. The restaurant was open and specializes in mainly Spanish dishes. It does have a schnitzel on the menu but it has nothing to do with a schnitzel, as is usual in Austria, and costs 19.50.

There are 2 wash houses which are getting on in years. There are plenty of toilets, but some were locked and therefore not usable.
It is an unattractive site for children. There is nowhere to play ball.
Noisy, hard-drinking Dutch people, who probably live there all the time or stay longer.

Unfortunately, everything is now neglected. The beautifully landscaped bathing lake on the site is not cleaned and maintained.
At our pitch, campers were constantly walking across our allocated pitch as they were then closer to the bathhouse. That's terrible. The grass should also be properly sown everywhere. There are a lot of permanent campers at the site. The free ski bus to Steinplatte runs directly from the campsite, the ski area is great, our boys (aged 12 and 14) were able to have a good time. In general, the site is easily... accessible by public transport. You can eat very well in the restaurant. A small camping store offers a small selection of food, hygiene and camping items. A Spar supermarket is about a 10-minute walk away. I can't say much about the size of the pitches, we had a lot of snow and no awning, but I think the pitches are adequate. The sanitary facilities are a bit old, but always clean. There is also a drying room for boots and ski clothing. We did not use the sauna. The campsite is in a quiet location surrounded by mountains on the outskirts of Waidring. The entire staff (as well as the permanent campers) of the campsite was always very friendly. The sanitary facilities... in the small wash house were modernized, the sanitary facilities in the large wash house were only partially modernized, but the wash houses were clean at all times. There is a restaurant on site, which we can highly recommend, and the campsite also has a store for the most important groceries (including a bread roll service) and camping spare parts. The campsite also has a small swimming lake and a Pit Pat facility (billiard golf). The individual pitches on the campsite are unfortunately very small, so that you can walk directly from your own awning into the neighboring awning! As we were here in the low season, the neighboring pitch was free, so we were not so cramped. All in all, a very nice campsite that we would visit again at any time, but due to the size of the pitches (especially in the high season) one star has to be deducted.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.

Supermarket... in the village. Cross-country ski trail leads past the campsite, Steinplatte ski area can be reached in a few minutes by ski bus.
