- Peter und Beate M.September 2022PozytywneBeach and seaNegatywneSanitaryBeautiful locationThe site was still very busy in September. It is a small campsite with many permanent campers. The pitches are large enough and mostly under trees. The sanitary facilities are clean but in need of renovation. No importance is attached to this. The beach and the sea are very beautiful. The old Peastum is just around the corner. The pizzeria on site is chaotic, but tasty and reasonably priced. You can get fresh bread in the store.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Ronald V.September 2019PozytywneExcavations of Paestum Beach is clean long walks on the beach, even with the dogNegatywneTwo days must be paid for one nightThe surprise came at the end.We stayed at the campsite for 9 days at the end of September. It was very full despite the low season. The pitches at the back are relatively spacious and shady towards the sea, but difficult to reach for large WBs and also small in places. The beach is clean and in good condition for southern Italy,... even if there is always garbage lying around. You can easily go for long walks on the beach, even with your dog. The Paestum excavations are just a few minutes' walk away. The restaurant on site is inexpensive and good and there is a very good pizzeria nearby. Fruit and vegetables are available in the village. The sanitary facilities are outdated, like almost everywhere in southern Italy there is no toilet paper. However, they are cleaned every day and were always clean. It is likely that school classes stay in the rental accommodation. As a result, it often gets restless in the square. But the surprise came when we paid. We were charged for the day. If you arrive at 4 pm and leave at 9 am, you have to pay for two days. I've never experienced that beforePrzetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Luca S.July 2019PozytywneEasy commute by car, services very close, beach very clean and practically in the campground.Quiet and friendly.Relaxation culture and beautiful walksAn unforgettable place, in caravan with family 3persons, a 7 year old girl and a dog,we really enjoyed it. It is the second year that we return, and we will definitely return, the sea is ideal for learning to swim, Agostino's pizzas then are in themselves a great attraction.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Jürgen W.May 2019PozytywneHistorical temples within walking distanceNegatywneThe place makes an unkempt impressionClose to the historic temple complexPitch with mature trees. Clean sanitary facilities. As almost everywhere in southern Italy, there is a lack of toilet paper, toilet seats and urinals for the men. It's possible that a dozen school classes will set up camp in the pine forest. Then it gets restless in the front part of the square. The... restaurant is inexpensive and good. In the small town there is a mini market on the right and a little further on there is a fruit and vegetable shop (long lunch break until 5pm). It is incomprehensible why the place and beach facilities can be so littered. However, the square and the associated beach make a decent impression. The histor. The historical facilities can be reached on foot in half an hour. The best time to visit is in the morning (admission €12 per person).Przetłumaczone automatycznie.

- Gerit W.July 2018Pozytywnedirectly on the beach neighboring village to cycle to excellent train connection WLANNegatywneLoud animationTop locationLocated directly on the long sandy beach. The pitches are large enough and protected from prying eyes by hedges. The showers are cleaned daily but are quite old. The staff are very friendly and helpful with questions about excursions. There are several lifeguards at the water's edge. The pizzeria is... reasonably priced and the food tastes good. You can reach the excavations within a few minutes by bike, and you can also cycle to the next larger town. Tip: Take the train for excursions, it's cheap and you don't have to search for a parking space. All interesting towns can be easily reached this way. On the negative side, we remember the loud entertainment every evening. After a tip it became a little quieter.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.

- Gregor C.May 2018PozytywneInexpensive, right by the sea, free sun loungers on the beachNegatywneNoisy, beach not very clean.Super laage, the furnishings rather oldDirections: Coming from the highway, drive in the direction of Paestum. The campsite is signposted, but there are a lot of signs, which makes it a little difficult to find. The entrance is rather narrow at 90 degrees, there is no space to park in front of the reception, you immediately block the access... road. Reception: very nice and friendly, they speak German or English. Checkin very fast, DCC card accepted. Quiet: there are lots of Italians with children, so it is noisy. In addition, there are many dogs, some of which bark loudly. the site is flat, parceled out and with lots of shade. The pitches are not very large. Sanitary facilities are clean, but old and sometimes only poorly repaired. Minimarket and pizzeria right on the pitch. Otherwise there is a small supermarket just around the corner that sells most things. If you follow the road parallel to the beach past the supermarket on the right, you come to the fruit and vegetable store and the butcher. A little further on you come to the post office, where there is a cash machine. If you take the road to the left, you come to torri de mare with ice cream parlors, stores and bars. Beach: directly in front of the campsite, free of charge. The beach itself is not very clean, unfortunately there is a lot of garbage lying around, some of it broken glass! Too bad, because otherwise it would be a nice beach. By the way, there is also a lot of garbage lying around on the streets in the village. Excursions: Paestum excavations. Price per night: 2 adults + 1 teenager with caravan = 25 eur in low season. Wifi free, good reception at reception, otherwise frequent disconnections. Conclusion: if you like sandy beaches, you can relax here.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.

- Petra B.May 2018PozytywneGood location for motorcycle tours into the chilento.NegatywneOld, dirty, non-functioning sanitary facilitiesBeautiful location, very poorly maintainedLocation directly on the sandy beach is nice. Thank you for your review. We know that guests are becoming more and more demanding. You are the first person to have found our sanitary facilities dirty. If that had been the case, you could have come to us. We would have taken care of it immediately! And the price for 2 people per day costs less than a parking space in the city.Przetłumaczone automatycznie. - Monika M.April 2018Pozytywnenear places of interestNegatywneThe restaurant is not so goodcamping directly by the seaThe campsite is located directly by the sea with a beautiful sandy beach. Part of the campsite is under tall pine trees, which is certainly very nice and shady in summer. The paths are very narrow and it is difficult to maneuver. The sanitary facilities are reasonably clean, the only washing machine... was classified by me as too dirty to use. The restaurant on site is open, but the pizza is a little unkindly prepared and the other dishes were not particularly tasty. The place is otherwise well run and the staff is very friendly.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Christoph M.August 2017PozytywneCentral location for discovering the Cilento, directly by the sea, access to the beach possible directly from the CampeggioNegatywnePitch size partly tight, Sanitary blocks outdated, sinks and washbasins without hot water (high season)Old-established campeggio in the Pineta on Licinella beach with lots of patina##### Stay July/August, high season 2017, for three weeks with caravan and awning: It should be noted that the campsite can definitely be recommended. For details see description ##### The Campeggio is located near the World Heritage Site "Scavi Paestum" in the Licinella district. ##### Brief description... ##### Simple campsite divided by a stream in a pineta with access to the beach. Seasonal camping and simple rental bungalows characterize the site (**). The shady, semi-shady and sunny pitches for tourists are mostly parceled out (approx. 50-70 m²) and equipped with an electricity connection (6.5A), with sufficient space for caravans, awnings and cars on some pitches. (**) ##### The journey ##### via the Cilento highway (SS18) from Battapaglia/Salerno is signposted from Cappacio. But beware: we recommend checking the relevant internet map services beforehand. From the SS18 "Cappacio Scalo" exit, the village of "Licinella" is signposted, following the signs for "Paestum Scavi". In the village of Licinella, take the busy and narrow "Via Torre di Paestum" and enter Via Urarno; it is narrow and there is quite heavy traffic in the village. The approach from the south, i.e. from Agropoli/Sapri, is not signposted, from the Paestum exit follow the signs for "Scavi", then turn left towards "litoranea", from Via Nettuno follow the signs. ########## Site ##### The campeggio in the pine forest is divided into three areas: the old stone houses of the simple rental bungalows and the pitches for tourists in the central part of the complex (33-48 Eur/day for 2 people). Separated by a stream, the third part of the site lies to the side in the Pineta. The pitches at the back, as well as the pitches directly on the beach, accommodate seasonal and permanent campers. The gravel paths lead to the mostly sandy pitches, the parceled-out pitches are separated from each other by low hedges and eucalyptus trees. The four sanitary blocks from the Villagio's early days shine with their patina. All the toilets are made of pure ceramic, about half of them are standing toilets. Hot water is not available at the washing and rinsing points. The shower facilities (unisex, with inadequate hot and cold water pressure and some defective showers) leave a lot to be desired. Two of the four sanitary blocks are from the 80s, the other two from the early days of the campsite. One star for the sanitary blocks. However, they are cleaned daily (*). ##### Service ##### The campsite infrastructure may depend on the season (entertainment, restaurant, supermarket). Access from the campeggio to the beach is possible. During the season, the entire beach area of the Campeggio is reserved for sunshades and sunbeds for hire (10 E/T). It is not permitted to sunbathe or lie on a sun lounger with your own parasol in front of it, so you must use the public beaches to the left and right. In the high season, the beach of the Campeggio can only be used by guests who rent umbrellas for 10 euros per day; all others must use the public beaches. Please bear this in mind (*). ##### Good quality children's play equipment is available on the beach, with entertainment for children during the season. A small football pitch in the Pineta is used by the many youngsters for a game of Soccero, especially in the evenings. ##### Loud entertainment during the season, sometimes with live music, especially in the late afternoon and in the evening with a disco at the Ristorante, between 9 p.m. and midnight, but sometimes even longer. ##### During the high season, the price-performance ratio reaches its limits; 33 E in July and 48 E in August for a pitch with two people must then be paid for a pitch with no more than 6.5A electricity. ##### Shopping and restaurants ##### The campsite is located in the village of Licinella, directly adjacent to the lively shopping street "Via Torre di Paestum". It is therefore only a few steps from the Campeggio to the stores for your daily needs. A map is available at reception: Paneria on the corner (bread, pastries), Marcelleria (butcher's shop, right next door), Verdura (fruit, vegetables, opposite), Minimarket (next to Verdura); at Torre di Paestum "caseificio" barlotti (cheese dairy with mozzarella, buffalo, delicatessen and many other regional specialties).specialties of the region, terrace with lunch, gelati, cakes and delicacies of the region); Pesceria (at the Hotel Poseidon) fresh fish and Frutti di Mare. The hospitable "Mandetta" right next to the campsite (Via Torre) offers much-praised "tipico" Cilento cuisine both at lunchtime and in the evening, including pizza. ##### ... - Klaus M.May 2017PozytywneInexpensive pitch right on the beach in a pine forest. Very quiet. Excavations of Paestum within walking distance. Good internet.Negatywne-- none ---Super nice campsite near excavations in PaestumSuper nice, partly shady site in a pine forest. The pitches are parceled out and separated by bushes. Many pitches are under trees. The site is right on the beach. This is a beautiful sandy beach. It was very quiet, the loudest thing was the sound of the sea. There is a great pizzeria on site where we had a cheap and delicious meal. 17€ for 2 people + camper van is also quite cheap (May). You can walk to the Paestum excavations. We will be back.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.

- Roland J.August 2016PozytywneBeautiful beach with fine sand, gently sloping, great water Full, but not overcrowdedNegatywne- at the Woe sound from all sides at disco volume - we felt tricked because of the deliberately too small accommodation - unfriendlyBetter still further south ....We had booked a mobile home for 4 people in the first row to the beach. We were given a mobile home for 3 people, minimally equipped (for 3), clean, but very run-down. The double bed was just about adequate, the pull-out couch was worn out and too small for two children. As an alternative, the campsite... patron offered us a bungalow right at the entrance to the site, with a view of the scrap heap behind the office, so an alternative with 4 reasonable beds, but located where we at least would never want to spend our vacation. We then came to terms with the situation and decided not to extend for a second week (as originally planned). There was no discount. We were conned in the classic way, as we were sold something that was already untenable at the time of booking. The main thing is that the tourists book and then you see if they complain and how you can "help" them. We found the staff, especially the "boss", to be unfriendly and unprofessional. We were pleasantly surprised by the people in Cilento further south. Obviously not yet so spoiled by tourism, you will find perfect accommodation, warm and friendly people who are happy to create the perfect setting for a perfect vacation for tourists. So, our tip is to head a little further south, with equally great beaches and breathtaking nature. Apart from the great beach, the wonderful view of Capri and the world-famous sunsets, nothing made us stay longer. - At the weekend there is disco music from all sides - in the campsite's own "MArkt" there are really only the essentials. You have to leave the campsite to go shopping. Small supermarket and butcher nearby - unfriendly staff, we almost had the impression of not being welcome - no beach shells and own umbrellas allowed on our own beach. You have to walk a few meters further if you want to lie "individually". - The music animation on the beach can get on your nerves after a while On weekends, sound from all sides at disco volumePrzetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Robert F.August 2016PozytywneGood location, good food, friendly staffNegatywneGarbage on the street in front of the CP, garbage island at the CP is also no beauty but there is some kind of garbage separationCamping near the temples2013.06 Quiet campsite near the excavations. Sanitary facilities are old but clean, but hot water is not always available. Washing up only with cold water (at least in our wash house). There are sunny spots near the beach and shady spots further up. The food is good, the pizzas are excellent. The boss... can speak a variety of German :-), which he has learned himself in the 51 years he has been running the campsite. The excavations are too far away on foot, it's ok on a bike (interesting and impressive even for non-historians). The store only has the essentials, there is a store in the village. The beach is super big, unfortunately there are lots of cigarette butts on the cp. Be sure to try the buffalo mozzarella from one of the surrounding farms, it's incomparable (not to be compared with the white goop from the supermarket at home). The camper service is a bit complicated and can only be used with the help of the Cp staff, better to drive to a disposal at a highway station (is also free). Wc Cimik is ok. Update 2016.08 In the meantime the son has taken over the CP. The site is very clean, the wash houses have been partially renovated, 2nd WC Cimik will be added in 2017. The food is still very good and the staff are very friendly. However, the area around the campsite is quite full of garbagePrzetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Bianka B.July 2016Pozytywnedirectly on the beachNegatywneSanitary facilities in poor conditionoverpriced campsiteWe were here in summer 2017. The access road with caravans is very narrow. Some of the pitches at the back of the campsite can only be reached with a mover or you have to hang up and push. But it is quite quiet in this area. In the front part there is often loud music from the campsite disco. The pitches... are relatively spacious and shady. The campsite is right on the beach. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities are totally outdated and in poor condition, only moderately clean, toilet seats are in vain. We would not vacation here again.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
