- Fabian W.April 2023PozytywneNothing was bad, but nothing stood out positively eitherNegatywneSanitary facilities are getting on in yearsReach Monschau by bikeJust right for a visit to Monschau. The sanitary facilities are a bit outdated but ok, the large pitches were enough for our camper, but as we only spent one night there, we didn't need much space.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Sascha S.December 2022PozytywneCentral, infrastructure nearby, wonderful landscape, dogs allowed, dog shower, but only cold. But FREE of chargeNegatywneBad and expensive showers, poor condition of the paths, some path lighting without function, unhealthy green-looking pool that is opened or closed at the whim of the operator, chemical emptying directly next to the sinks and showers. An unpleasant smell that makes you feel sick due to the lack of windows (at least in the men's toilet). Several times no hot water and heating in the sanitary area, as the oil for heating was supposedly empty. No winter service, although the hotel is open all year round. Icy entrances even to the sanitary facilities. Paths washed out in summer with corresponding risk of falling in the dark. Especially during the fixed midday rest period, to which camping guests are more than clearly pointed out and in the event of disregard according to the site rules, warnings and expulsions can be issued, the site is often sounded by tractors and wheel loaders of the site management, especially at weekends.... Barbecues only allowed until 9.30 pm No playground, children are not allowed to play in the pool. Children are not allowed to enter the sanitary building unaccompanied2 star camping at a 5 star+ priceOnce you have been taken in by the feigned friendliness, the misanthropic site management quickly reveals itself. If you don't want to spend your free time in an autonomous dictatorship, this is not the place for you. Sanitary facilities mostly acceptable, pool permanently full of algae and unhealthily... green. Dumpster right next to the pool, with the corresponding odor nuisance, only separated by a wooden fence A pricing that in no way corresponds to the condition, the facility and performance. First as a tourist, then as a permanent camper, I experienced unbelievable things on this site that I thought would be unthinkable in 2023. From spring/beginning of summer, loud music on Fridays and Saturdays from below the campsite, which is probably a youth campsitePrzetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Don A.August 2022PozytywneClose to the Vennbahn and very quiet location on the outskirts,NegatywneUnfortunately no infrastructure for cyclists and hikers, expensive, shower tokens required.Too expensive and unfriendly to cyclistsStrange that a campsite so close to the Vennbahn treats cyclists so neglected. No seating at all, no covered area for bad weather. For a battery charge for e-bikes worth 30 cents, a hefty €3.50 is charged for electricity. Overall, the pitch is very expensive for what it offers. Additional money is also charged for shower tokens. And they don't even work reliably.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.

- Jürgen S.August 2020PozytywneOn the edge of the village with a wonderful panorama, well-kept camp with clean sanitary facilities, hiking directly from the site, also ideal for dog owners.NegatywneSome pitches for tourists are too small for larger caravans with full awnings. Some of the power connections are weak.Peace and relaxation guaranteedVery well-kept, partly terraced and very green site with 160 permanent/seasonal and 60 tourist pitches (some of which are only suitable for motorhomes and tent campers).
Two very clean and well-kept sanitary buildings. Restaurant currently closed due to Corona. Playground equipment for small children... currently dismantled - but two public playgrounds approx. 500 m away. Quiet location on the outskirts. Beautiful view from some pitches. Very good infrastructure in the immediate vicinity (so shopping also possible without a car). Bus connection. 2 km long dog walk and various hiking possibilities directly from the site.
Good price/performance ratio - ACSI at times.

- Hans V.August 2019PozytywnePool Sanitary facilities cleaned 2x dailyNegatywneWifi, only to restaurant goodWe will definitely come backA quiet campsite with built-in intex pool 6 meters in diameter but nice enough to splash and relax.
By bike you can take the little road behind campsite and be in Monschau center in no time, but beware it goes down sloping and steep (we rode 45km/h with bike).
The restaurant was only open Friday-Sunday... which was a pity. Do not stand too close to containers (near swimming pool) many wasps and bees, and in the morning on Thursday the container service (immediately awake).
Sanitary facilities well maintained, cleaned 2x daily.
Wifi is free (most go to restaurant on terrace in the evening for better reception).Przetłumaczone automatycznie. - Peter B.July 2019Very friendly staff and spotless sanitary facilitiesIn addition to the extremely friendly staff and the very clean sanitary facilities, the small pub on site also offers decent food and reasonably priced drinks.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Rosemarie S.September 2018PozytywneFriendly operators, quiet and yet all shopping facilities nearby.NegatywneWe did not notice anything detrimental.Simply a great starting point for hikingWe liked the location of the campsite and the staff were extremely friendly. There are all shopping facilities in the village, we were very satisfied and will be happy to visit the site again when we are nearby - which we did again after 5 years and can confirm everything that has been said. Together with the great hiking suggestions from Eifeltourisitik, it is always worth a visit.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Krebber H.April 2018PozytywneThe peace and quiet and the friendliness of the staff.NegatywneIf you get onto the almost impassable narrow and steep roadThere was nothing wrong with the placeWe were only on this site for one night but received a super friendly welcome. We had a nice place. There was nothing to complain about the sanitary facilities either. Everything was clean. We then drove to the nearby town and did some shopping. But be careful when approaching you quickly get onto a... road that is almost impossible to drive on with a caravan. There is no possibility to turn around. When I asked why this was the case, the friendly lady at reception told me that there was a better way but the town of Monschau would refuse to put up a sign there. So don't rely on the navigation system.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Joachim L.May 2017Pozytywne...I don't know....Negatywne...I don't know either....Fully in orderLocated on the outskirts of Imgenbroich, not far from Monschau. Very well-kept pitches with a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside. Very friendly reception. The sanitary facilities are very good and very clean. A lovely site that can be highly recommended. Good value for money thanks to ACSI. Tip: The mustard mill in MonschauPrzetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Stefan L.November 2016PozytywneClean place, clean sanitary facilities, nice and helpful staff, beautiful places,Negatywneno disadvantage foundWere here for the 5th time and will be backDue to the one or other bad review, I have to speak up now. We have been to the site several times and we will go again. Sanitary facilities clean, pitches large enough (also for our double axle), very caring and friendly staff and owner, with friendly contact we have been helped with all problems so... far. Good restaurant with delicious schnitzel variations. The location of the place is fantastic. You go out of the rear exit and are directly in the Eifel nature with countless hiking trails. Nevertheless, bakeries, numerous supermarkets, ATMs etc. are within walking distance. If you are looking for a campsite in a quiet location where you can leave your car and enjoy nature, this is the place for you.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Werner K.November 2016PozytywneNoneNegatywneEverythingThe worst thing we have experienced in 25 years of campingThe title says it all, we would never go here again. Outrageous staff, facilities totally rotten, no water, no waste disposal, overall impression grade 6. Supposed to be a comfort pitch, on request we received the answer "in summer". Can only warn against this place, pretty fakePrzetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Erwin G.July 2016PozytywneWell located, good restaurant, clean sanitary facilitiesVery nice place and good restaurantWe stayed at the site for 8 days in July 2016. After a very nice registration and reception, we were accompanied to our pitch by a member of staff. After we had finished settling in, we took advantage of the on-site restaurant and dined there. The food served there was a real treat, so we only went to... eat there. During the day we went hiking in this beautiful area and in the evening we swam in the campsite pool. In short, a great place, nice staff! We will be backPrzetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Roman R.March 2016PozytywneThe location for hiking and the proximity to Monschau and BelgiumNegatywneThe toilet block in the main building with all its furnishings and layout.Warm welcomeNow, having just returned from the Eifel, I'm a bit anxious to write a review here. We had already decided on this place in advance because we wanted to go hiking or geocaching (this modern scavenger hunt with GPS devices) in the area. We had also arranged to meet two other couples here over Easter.... As our hobby requires a bit of preparation, I didn't want to simply overturn our plan to meet here. So I booked 1 week from home for a relatively cheap €110 and another night via ACSI Card for €19. A very fair offer at first glance. When we arrived at the campsite, we received a very warm welcome and immediately had the right contact with the owner. Everything was great. But unfortunately that was it. The barrier stays down between 13:00 and 15:00. Come what may. I don't care, because we've already left and haven't come back yet. Everyone has to decide for themselves whether this is still in keeping with the times. Unfortunately, the pitches were "somewhat" muddy due to the recent rain. The ruts that guests leave behind with their vehicles will definitely not be gone by the summer. It would have been better to do without the revenue for the Easter weekend and protect the pitches. There were still a few free pitches further up. Well, we have an awning, so we don't have to carry the dirt into the caravan straight away. However, it was almost impossible to tie down the tent with pegs as the ground after the aforementioned 5 cm layer of turf knew how to defend itself vehemently against impact with thick gravel stones. So I was already looking forward to the evening shower. Unfortunately, the water had not yet been turned on at the pitches to fill the tanks. Several short walks to the main wash house followed. Never mind. Unfortunately, I was also able to take a look at the showers and toilets there and was disenchanted here too. (The second wash house was still closed, so I can't say anything about that) You have to have a plan B so that your clothes don't get wet, and the 5 toilets aren't exactly suitable for serving as a showpiece: Where to put your jacket during the meeting? The bottom line is a bitter aftertaste. For 19€ ACSI price you can otherwise spend the night on really good pitches. Unfortunately, I can't give a recommendation here, no matter how nice the reception was. With friendly camper greetings Roman Rochel from EssenPrzetłumaczone automatycznie.

- joe k.December 2015PozytywneBeautiful in the Eifel and High FensNegatywneSanitary and electricity consumption control, staff partly unfriendlyOnly something for small people and please do not consume electricity ...Actually a nice campsite. The sanitary facilities are clean, but not big enough for men over 190 cm tall. Even at the entrance you have to be careful not to bump your head. ATTENTION: On the tourist pitches, the electricity is simply switched off because the meter turns too quickly. No matter how many... consumers are connected. You won't find a short notice about this on your vehicle. So you first look for the apparent fault yourself - including dirty knees from the mud outside -... until you go to reception and are informed. In the end, the campsite staff make a mockery of it ... and anyway - the English use so much electricity - why don't they test it first? The easiest thing would have been to unplug the plugs individually .... oh well.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- H. Z.October 2015PozytywneLocation near the VennbahnNegatywneHorror plumbingRepulsiveLong-time campers like us are stunned: In October there was hardly any possibility to fill the fresh water tank, also the water drainage at almost all sinks (washing up, showers) did not work smoothly, and there were no plugs anywhere! The highlight: right next to the few wash-up basins is the chemical toilet disposal point! Where else on this continent can you find something so unhygienic and disgusting?Przetłumaczone automatycznie.

The site is in a very quiet location - ideal for relaxing. The pitches are very spacious and there is also plenty of room in the sanitary buildings. Oh yes, there is also a small swimming pool and WLAN ;-)). We can recommend the restaurant - tasty, cheap and good portions. We were there with our dog and we felt very comfortable.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
