- Bernd S.September 2024PozytywneSanitary facilities always clean, bread roll service, quiet locationNegatywneAbout 2 km outside of Damp on the Baltic SeaGood campsite at a reasonable priceQuiet and inexpensive pitch on the Baltic Sea, about 2 km outside of Damp. Good facilities, water and electricity on site, some with waste water, bistro near the Baltic Sea.
The site is long, so a bicycle is an advantage.
During our stay, the dyke was being repaired, which was damaged by flooding last... year in October. I had imagined the construction work to be worse, but it was hardly disturbing.
The 3 sanitary buildings are cleaned twice a day, cleaning times are posted!
Otherwise: no reason to complain, everything was great.Przetłumaczone automatycznie. - Sabine P.May 2024PozytywneSee commentsNegatywneI personally find no disadvantages. We made the right decision 👍Hi, we visited the site in January of this year and the boss took almost 2 hours to answer our questions and to look for one or two pitches with us that would suit us. In the end, we decided on this site as our future permanent campsite. The location directly on the Baltic Sea is beautiful, there are... 2 wash houses, an older one and a new one, both are very well maintained and are cleaned twice a day. There are also rinsing stations at both wash houses. Above the new wash house is a large, great sauna which is very clean, with loungers and from the balcony you can look out over the Baltic Sea. Washing machines and dryers are also available here. We got to know very nice and helpful permanent campers in the first few days and that hasn't changed since. Nina's shop sells bread rolls, beautiful decorations and anything else you might need, and of course delicious ice cream. There is a bistro on the beach, but I can't say anything about it as I haven't been there yet. We've been here for 6 months now and we haven't regretted a single day, we feel really comfortable here and we definitely made the right decision with this place, we would recommend it at any time without hesitation ⚓️☀️👍Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Dong-Hun K.April 2022PozytywneLocation, sanitary facilities, gastronomyNegatywneAbsolutely miscast position of night watchmanNice place in itself, but still no recommendationIn itself a nice campsite with a good location. But what is not at all acceptable is the "night watchman" who "welcomed" us with a convincing demonstration of downright rudeness and a complete lack of social skills (without introducing himself). It's a mystery why you would hire an a...hole to drive... away customers at a beautifully located campsite that could have the makings of a favorite.... Fortunately, there are many other beautiful places on the Baltic Sea!Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Belinda P.August 2021PozytywneVery nice, quiet pitches, friendly and service-oriented site operators, clean sanitary facilitiesNegatywnenoneStay August/September 2021We got a nice and quiet pitch, electricity available. Sanitary facilities very clean. Disposal and supply for our motorhome nearby. Bread rolls were also very good and not to forget the Strandkorb restaurant. Very friendly operators and staff and the food was very tasty and I can recommend it to everyone. There were also fish sandwiches near the beach.
I can definitely recommend the campsite.Przetłumaczone automatycznie. - Michael S.April 2021Pozytywnelocation clean sanitary buildingNegatywneDespite prior online booking, the parking space was given to othersProblems with the parking spaceWe had booked a pitch online before arrival, which was also confirmed by the site. On arrival this pitch was occupied. After 1.5 hours we were offered another "pitch", which was not really nice. The staff then said: "We're fully booked, so you'll have to leave"
After I was also not satisfied with this,... I was offered a tent pitch, which I accepted.
This should not happen, even if the site operator told me that they had been overrun.
Then you have to ask yourself whether such problems always happen when they are fully booked and the guest cannot be sure of getting a pitch, despite having booked in advance.Przetłumaczone automatycznie. - Uwe S.July 2018PozytywneClose to the Baltic Sea, good price/performance ratio, short distancesNegatywneMany permanent campers - short-term connection difficult, Water/drainage only at a few tourist sites (ask!)Good location, infrastructure OK, quiet during the week, many permanent campersCP is located directly on the Baltic Sea with its own access to the water. Tent pitches and other short-term pitches directly behind the dyke (25m to the water). CP is mainly occupied by permanent campers. There are three tourist pitches in this area near the water. There are also three tourist pitches... in the middle. The other tourist pitches are on a meadow on the land side. These are without water and waste water. We spent 3 weeks on a tourist pitch near the water. The site has two sanitary buildings. Both are cleaned daily and are OK. However, the toilets could be a little better ventilated. Overall, everything works well and there is always hot water. Not a revelation but OK. There is a snack bar in front of the water. This is also OK and serves solid food at reasonable prices. The owners and operators are always friendly and helpful. However, it is a small family business that lives in symbiosis with the permanent campers. The permanent campers on the site are friendly and helpful. Occasionally they party a little longer on the WE. But even that is kept within reasonable limits. The garbage collection times are tight. That's true. But it's not that bad. You can drop it off every day from 10 - 11 am and get new bags straight away. Overall, we were very satisfied and had a great vacation.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Klaus S.May 2018PozytywneWe can highly recommend the campsite! The majority of guests left all areas that were used clean.NegatywneFellow campers should leave their mess and uncleanliness at home. Unfortunately, the image of the campsite is not always good for onlookers.Super place. Recommendation!I spent a week on the course with my wife over Whitsun 2018. At the beginning of our week, we were almost alone in the row. Shortly before the holidays, the pitch filled up and the outdoor area was also very busy. The peace and quiet was somewhat impaired but we weren't at our caravan much as we wanted... to explore the surrounding area by bike and car. What struck us as particularly positive. The sanitary area was clean and well maintained at all times. No matter how full the site was. The cleaner was always there. Unfortunately, there are always campers who live out their culture to the detriment of others and thus always present the cleaner with new tasks. Everything was always put back in order very quickly. Hot water for showering and cleaning the dishes was also a welcome experience for us. The reception and allocation of the pitch were also quick and friendly.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Berthold B.March 2018PozytywneFresh bread rolls every day, free choice of pitch, sanitary facilities just around the corner.NegatywneThe times for waste disposalBeautiful Baltic SeaWe were here in the week before Easter, the first 2 days the weather was ok, but then came snow with nasty east wind, we then canceled the stay after 4 days, but for the weather no one can do anything, the groundskeeper has welcomed us friendly, the sanitary facilities were always very clean, only the... times for garbage disposal are too late and too short. The location is very quiet, the Baltic Sea only a few steps away, ideal for hiking or cycling, the place Damp can be reached on foot or by bike in a short time, to Kappeln or Eckernförde it is a little further, but by bike you can reach these places in 1-1.5 hours. veryPrzetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Anneli T.September 2017PozytywneQuiet location.NegatywneOnly sporadically manned reception. Times for waste disposal unfavorable and too short. Pitches boggy when it rains.Mainly permanent campersQuite a large permanent campsite with a largely separate small tourist section on a parceled meadow. In the tourist part there are no pitches with water and waste water connections, only electricity. As a vacation camper, you walk about 500m to the narrow natural beach. Another 1000 meters and you are... in the Baltic Sea resort of Damp. Mobilists will find 5 pitches with water and waste water connections close to the beach. When it rains, the site is very swampy. The reception takes some getting used to, as the groundsman has numerous other duties. One long-term camper reported that even after decades she could not tell when the reception was reliably manned. However, you can reach the groundsman by phone and then just wait for him. The sanitary facilities at the tourist section are getting on in years, but are sufficiently large and are constantly cleaned. Nevertheless, it smells of urine. Garbage can only be taken away in the morning from 10 - 11 a.m. - this is a problem if you want to be out and about in the morning. The garbage collection point is also located far outside the campsite and is difficult to access when it rains. The small self-service store was also only open for a short time in the morning (in September) and only had a very rudimentary range on offer. But there were bread rolls! For everything else, it's best to go to Kappeln. Internet (for a fee) worked well during our stay.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.

- Markus K.June 2017PozytywneQuiet, friendly, affordableQuiet, inexpensive placeWe had a very nice time there over Whitsun 2017, standing on the grass behind reception. The sanitary building there is a bit outdated, but is cleaned regularly. There is also a more modern sanitary building. The staff are friendly and look after their guests. The short daily drop-off times for garbage take some getting used to, and the campsite store is only open for a relatively short time in the morning.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Christiane K.August 2016PozytywneEverything is completely uncomplicated and relaxed. Peace and nature right on the lake. Restaurant good and reasonably priced. Everything clean and intact.NegatywneIf you want to experience something in the evening, you have to go by car.Surprisingly nice vacation. Not to the Italian Riviera again. So we planned a Baltic Sea vacation for 2016. Son really wanted to go to Hansapark again. We have a 4m inflatable boat with AB, so we only have access to the water with a slip. Trigano should stay at home, it could rain for 2 weeks! After a few emails, we decided that... CP Dorotheental was ideal and booked a caravan. Booking, arrival, registration completely uncomplicated. Caravan already a bit old, but perfectly adequate for sleeping. Boat safely parked in the "parking lot" on the beach, quickly launched. Very pleasant stay in the restaurant! Damp can be reached quickly on foot, or even faster by boat. We then took the boat to go shopping and eat. Wonderfully quiet at night as it is on the edge of the forest. Sometimes over 30 degrees during the day, no snakes at night, no jellyfish in the water. In addition to beach life, we went on excursions to Fehmarn, Westerheversand, Pellworm, Denmark, Travemünde and Haithabu. We were thrilled and will be back. Preferably right away!Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Ute C.May 2016PozytywneNice sanitary facilities. Reasonably priced pitch.NegatywneShower cycle of 10 seconds. Very rough toilet paper. Garbage disposal only between 10-11 am.Affordable pitch with nice sanitary facilitiesQuiet, inexpensive site directly on the Baltic Sea. The site is mainly characterized by permanent campers, but there are also about 40 tourist pitches at the beginning of the area. The rows of pitches are partly separated by low hedges and are of sufficient size. In my opinion, there are no comfort pitches.... There is an older, angled and rather dark sanitary building in the tourist camper area which is fine, but we preferred the newer, modern and bright sanitary building facing the beach. Toilet paper (very rough kind), soap and hand dryer are available. Showers without coins, but unfortunately only a shower cycle of 10 seconds. This is unfortunately not very comfortable and should be increased for me. Bread rolls available on site, small store and snack bar available. Playground is outside the campsite, in front of the barrier. Waste disposal only between 10-11 am. There is an Edeka supermarket in Damp with higher prices, otherwise the nearest supermarkets and discount stores are in Eckernförde and Kappeln (20-25 km away). We found the price/performance ratio on the site to be okay.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Ursula L.June 2015PozytywneClean, child-friendly, close to the beach, large pitches, spacious paths even for large caravans or mobile homes, hiking trails as far as the eye can see.NegatywneI have not found any.Perfect for a vacationThe most beautiful and not too large campsite on the Baltic Sea coast.super well maintained and always strives to leave the guests wanting for nothing.the dog beach is really not too small in my opinion with 1.5 km.the store fulfills its purpose (every morning fresh bakery rolls no industrial goods)... and for the kl. shopping in between completely ok.The permanent campers are surrounded by beautiful high hedges (almost no wind protection tarpaulins) in an area of their own, but if you want you can also find a place there for your vacation stay. the wash houses are really very well maintained and also sufficiently illuminated, even at night. the area is simply ingenious. we always like to come back.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Esther S.May 2015PozytywneLarge pitches even for long motorhomes; lots of play options for children; free dog waste bags; helpful staffNegatywneThe signs on the approach are very difficult to read in the dark. The 1st camping was greatWe were camping for the first time and with a huge motorhome. But no problem on the comfort pitches. We spent the first night in the parking lot because we arrived too late, but that's not the site's fault. The children (19/6) were happy and we were relaxed. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The... site is clean and the new sanitary block is great, the old one is not so nice. The dog beach could be bigger and the outdoor run is very muddy after rain. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay, even though it was short. However, we still have no comparison with other campsites. The self-service store is of course a bit more expensive than a discount store, but not extremely overpriced.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Anki W.May 2015PozytywneProximity to waterNegatywnePermanent camping pitchesIs in orderThe campsite is okay for a weekend trip. The location on the water is nice, the proximity to the water ski facility and the riding stables and the way to Damp. The old sanitary building is very dark but okay. The permanent camping pitches are not so nice. We won't be back because of this!Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Kai R.August 2014PozytywneChild-friendly and clean.NegatywneThe old sanitary building is very dark.Gladly againWe would love to come back, but there are a lot of self-contained permanent campers. The old sanitary building is absolutely fine, but unfortunately very dark! For me the only annoying thing about this weekend! That could be changed with little effort. Otherwise clean, nice and tidy.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Eva B.July 2014PozytywneI can't think of anyNegatywnepoorly managed Many permanent pitches in a dilapidated allotment garden look Sanitary partly dirty poor waste managementUgly place, not recommendedVery ugly passage between the permanent campers to the beach, garbage can only be removed at certain times (1 hour in the morning). If you miss this, the garbage stinks in the awning. Reception was not manned, long search for an authorized person, pitch was described so inaccurately that we were initially on the wrong pitch, which in turn led to annoyancePrzetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Ralph S.May 2014Normal reception, unfortunately not recommended with larger caravans due to very narrow roads and bends. The high hedges on the roadsides do not make this any better. Mainly permanent campers who have completely "walled themselves in". We won't be back.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
