The site is centrally located to Frankfurt and Hanau, both cities are easy to reach by bike. Everything is very clean and the site is in very good condition. See the place also rather for short overnight stays than for a longer stay
Unfortunately, there is no restaurant on the site and not much that is useful in the immediate vicinity
However, you can cycle directly along the Main to Frankfurt (approx. 14 km)

If two drivers meet there, it's the end! Especially as the departures are not completed by 11.00 a.m., so that arriving drivers should not have any oncoming traffic from 11.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon. The lunch time from 12.00... to 15.00 is completely antiquated. The pitch is tubular and uneven on grass. For a pitch with electricity, 6 kw/h per day, this pitch is overpriced. The busy main road can also be heard at night. Sanitary facilities only at the entrance area, longer distances depending on the pitch. 5 showers each for men and women and WC for women 4 for men 3 are tightly dimensioned for the pitch occupancy, but were clean.

The proximity to Frankfurt is wonderful - shopping, apple wine and Frankfurt ribs with cabbage in the big city and then back on the pitch in no time and relaxing with a view of the Main :)
The cleanliness and facilities were exemplary and the operators were very nice. Shopping facilities are approx. 2 km away.

The best way to change banks is to take the ferry 1.5 km away and cycle almost car-free to the city center. The site is long and narrow, fairly flat. It is not quiet due to its location between the Main River on one side and the highway and train line on the other. The constant need to open and close the gate... is a bit annoying. Card payment should also be possible from 2019. Cycle path to Mainkur station (simply cycle parallel to the B8 to the bus stop "Bahnhof Mainkur", cross the intersection and turn right behind the kiosk) 1.3km. Right on the banks of the Main, it is very idyllic - if it weren't for the noise of cars, airplanes, trains and everything else driving around. However, if you are visiting Frankfurt for sightseeing or cultural events, this won't be a problem. The cleanliness... of the sanitary facilities should be emphasized, but the area around the open-air shower smelled very strongly of camping toilets during our entire stay. Washing the dishes was not exactly pleasant. For us, the access road with our 2.50m wide and 7.25m long caravan was a stressful affair. With cyclists pushing past and oncoming traffic, it is really very narrow here. However, the site itself is very tidy and clean.
