Bread service to order
Snack to order
Bar
Essential groceries available
Electricity, water, waste water on site
High hedges as a good privacy screen
Varied tree cover to provide shade
Everything makes... a good impression
The sanitary facilities are not at all good. There are three of them. Unfortunately, during our two-week stay, with almost full occupancy, at least one and sometimes two were closed.
The main problem is the cold water in the showers, washbasins and sinks. Nothing was done about this during our stay.
In addition, the state of cleaning sometimes leaves a lot to be desired.
Ok, this may be due to the large number of Dutch families who send their children, even small ones, to the sanitary facilities unsupervised and don't care at all about cleaning up their mess.Przetłumaczone automatycznie. - André E.August 2017PozytywneLarge, beautiful pitches. Very child-friendly. Fantastic location.Negatywnenear roadWonderfulWe were there with our tent and really enjoyed our stay. Ideal for families, the site offers lots of opportunities for children. Mini golf, football, basketball, badminton: everything is available for hire free of charge and without any red tape. Most of the guests come from the Netherlands. The site... is beautifully situated and the view of the surrounding mountains is fantastic. The pitches are large and nicely parceled out with high hedges. In my opinion, the sanitary facilities are only good for 5 stars, not very good but complaining at a very high level. Only the cleaning staff should be a bit more thorough. A blocked sink was only fixed after a few days on request (somewhat reluctantly). The daily pre-ordering of croissants and baguettes for the next day is a bit idiosyncratic but works. The small pool area is nice but not supervised. The rules are probably more recommendations for action and are not followed. The reception staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. Especially the dark-skinned gentleman who welcomed us left a lasting, very good impression. The surroundings are a dream come true for every mountaineer and sports enthusiast. One small drawback is the busy road that runs through the valley and is relatively noisy due to the topography. It didn't bother us, neither in the morning nor in the evening. At most, a would-be rocker on his Harley without any significant exhaust was a bit annoying. We would come back at any time and can recommend the place with a clear conscience.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Robert J.August 2015PozytywneLeisure activities for childrenNegatywneVehicle requiredBeautiful, somewhat secluded campsiteThe campsite is located in the "Rochetaillèe" district in the Romanche valley. Le Bourg-d`Oisans is just over 7 km away (cycle path available; more on this later). The campsite is beautifully landscaped and the plots - which are large enough - are separated by hedges. The existing mobile homes blend... in unobtrusively and do not dominate the site. The road can be heard from the pitches facing it. The pitches on the other side are quiet in this respect. In the middle of the square is the eponymous chateau, which houses the reception and - in the "basement" - the sanitary facilities. Although somewhat "aged", this was always clean, which also applies to the site itself! The reception (English-speaking) was very polite and courteous - TOP! There is a small store on site where you can get the essentials, especially baguettes and croissants, of course. We didn't try the restaurant on site. The campsite is very much geared towards a vacation with (small) children (including outdoor pool with slide, mini golf and table tennis etc.; everything is free), for teenagers the place and the location might be a bit boring. In this respect, the square is lively during the day and "heavenly calm" at night. The Romanche valley with its surrounding mountains, rivers and lakes is 100% geared towards sports in all their variations (cycling, MTB, hiking, climbing, rafting...). In this respect, cycling on the above-mentioned cycle path next to the road to Le Bourg is unproblematic, as every car driver always expects cyclists! In the village itself (several sports and bike stores) there is a supermarket (Intermarche) and several restaurants. The place can definitely be recommended.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.

Ideal starting point for hikes and bike tours. Nice pizzeria on site. For children: heated pool, soccer pitch, minigolf, badminton nets, volleyball court, fitness room. All free of charge. Unfortunately we had a rainy week: the drying room was worth its weight in gold!Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
