- Gunter S.October 2019PozytywneLocationNegatywnesimple sanitary facilitiesin the dunes right by the seaPitches with sea view in the dunes above the beach, partly sandy, partly rocky. Very friendly operator. Natural pitches, not parceled out, spacious, large and easy to navigate. Sanitary facilities clean, simple, in a large hall, open at the top and with classical music. Not heated (we were here in October). No disposal of chemical toilets!Przetłumaczone automatycznie.

- Andreas S.May 2018Caribbean feeling in IrelandBeautifully situated site in a hilly area right by the sea, with an estimated 50 wildly scattered pitches, generally with a sea view. We received a very warm welcome (including in German!) and were allocated a suitable pitch, which was very convenient in this case. In front of the campsite is a fantastic... sandy beach (see photos) which we would not have expected in Ireland. As the addition of the name "Eco" suggests, great importance is attached to environmental compatibility. The entire ground is largely natural. Toilet cassettes with added chemicals cannot be emptied and plastic bottles may not be disposed of here. You can hike from the site to Omey Island, which is steeped in history. Directions are available at reception and the indispensable tide table hangs in the kitchen. Coffee and tea are also freely available in the kitchen and the milk is in the fridge (don't forget to feed the donation box). At the end of May, we paid €25 for a mobile home with 2 people and electricity. (Our dogs were free) The toilets and showers are unisex. Showers cost 1€. WLAN is free, but only available near the reception. The nearest shopping facilities are "Sweeney's Strand Bar, Shop, and Post Office" in Claddaghduff (3 km north) or in Clifden (11 km). We felt very comfortable here and would love to come back.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Alfred P.August 2014PozytywneLocationNegatywneSanitary areaDream bayThe campsite is situated on a beautiful bay with a large sandy beach. Well-kept and clean site. Very good drinking water. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Approx. 10 km to Clifden. Good base for excursions in the surrounding area. A. the access road is like a mogul slope b. 4 toilets and showers... are absolutely not enough. c. Sockets for hairdryers and razors in the sanitary area would be desirable. d. The constant music in the facility is as cheerful as a funeral.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Yannick C.May 2012Very friendly welcome, very pleasant setting for tents, c-cars or caravans. The sanitary facilities are very clean, but not fully operational at the time of our visit (additional painting work), which is not a problem for a small number of campers. Please note: water is actually drinkable, which is not the case everywhere!Przetłumaczone automatycznie.Odpowiedź od Clifden eco Beach Camping & Caeavanning Park October 22, 2012Thank you Yannick for your kind review !
