- Thomas S.May 2023PozytywnePeace and quiet CleanlinessNegatywneFew showersQuiet and cleanPerfect starting point for excursions to Ribe, Mandø, Esbjerg etc. Well maintained site. Especially the new sanitary building at the back with kitchen offers everything you need. We could only wish for a little more than just two showers. The front sanitary building at the reception is a bit outdated, but also in perfect condition.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Frank B.August 2021PozytywneThe new wash house at the back. Location in the forestNegatywneThe old wash house in the front areaBeautiful place between Ribe and EsbjergWe used this site to start our tour of Denmark and visit Esbjerg, Fano and Ribe. The site is very conveniently located for these destinations in a small village directly on the connecting road and the well-signposted cycle path between Ribe and Esbjerg, but any traffic is still only slightly audible....
The welcome was friendly, the reception has a small selection of groceries, a snack bar (which we didn't visit) and some information about the area. Bread rolls can be ordered in advance, for other things you have to go to the supermarket in the next village, but this is no problem at all.
The site is partly in the forest, other areas on medium-sized meadows with a few trees. Everything has more of a natural park-like character and doesn't appear to be laid out but rather cozy. You can choose your own pitch and the number of permanent campers is limited.
The wash house in the front area is very outdated and cannot really be recommended, but the new wash house in the rear area is simply great. Typical Scandinavian unisex toilets and wash cubicles, plus a kitchen with a lounge that leaves nothing to be desired. Whereas elsewhere there are just a few hotplates, here you have three fully equipped kitchens including oven and extractor hoods, plus a small terrace and a room with washing machine and dryer. The only disadvantage: there are only two showers. Although these are fully equipped bathrooms and even have underfloor heating, there are only two of them, so there can be a bit of a queue in the morning.Przetłumaczone automatycznie. - Fritz K.July 2021PozytywneThe location of the squareNegatywneNonePure tranquillityWe used the square as a starting point for exploring the town of Ribe, the oldest town in Denmark. The "People by the Sea" statues in Esbjerg were also easy to reach from here.
The site itself has everything a camper needs. Plush pitches, friendly operators, a small kiosk, playground and clean sanitary facilities.
The price/performance ratio was fine for us.Przetłumaczone automatycznie. - Anastasia K.July 2014Pozytywnenice and quietIt's a cozy placeNice cozy campground with great tent sites and a charming greenhouse as a rest area. - Thorsten H.August 2013We liked it very much. Very quiet and also a very cheap place. We'll definitely be back again sometime!Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Bärbel L.June 2010We stayed in one of the 4-person cabins for a week. The campsite has everything you need "for camping" (sanitary facilities, small store, snack bar, small playground, forest all around, enough distance to the neighbors) and no extras like a swimming pool. Accordingly, it is very quiet, reasonably priced... by Danish standards and is recommended for people who want to relax or go on excursions in the surrounding area. The campsite is in good condition and the sanitary facilities were clean. The host couple are very friendly. The 4-person cabin was spacious enough for us (two adults). The two benches at the table, which are intended as the two additional sheep seats, are too small for adults. Conclusion: RecommendablePrzetłumaczone automatycznie.
