Good room for tents, and the site has a good pricing.NegatywneThe pool isn’t big enough, so you can swim (but the area is very good)Nice and cleanwe would come back another time - it is one of the very best places, we have been on

Suitable for large homes.NegatywneBread rolls on the square.Nice place to relax. We spent a relaxing weekend in August. We were able to accommodate our large camper van (9m) wonderfully on the spacious pitches.
The first evening was so quiet we couldn't believe it.
The hidden, tiny bakery in the village is amazing. Sanitary facilities super modern, spacious, well maintained and cleaned around the clock. Indoor pool small but nice.

This was not possible at many places this year. Friendly welcome, personal atmosphere, even when arriving shortly after work. It was totally relaxed and above all quiet, despite the proximity to the A44. We would gladly stay again and for 2-3 nights. The restaurant on site is great.NegatywneYou should use the GPS coordinates. There is only one sign in the village indicating the campsite (we didn't see any more). Otherwise you can follow the small signs to the leisure area. We almost took a dirt road. But it's linked to Google Maps... and who doesn't have a cell phone 😉Overnight stay on the way northWe were there for one night, but for the next trip from the south to the north, we will certainly take 2-3 days for this beautiful place.
Great restaurant, small wellness area with pool and top sanitary facilities.
A reasonable price for an overnight stay.
We would love to come back ☺️Przetłumaczone automatycznie. - Frank V.June 2020PozytywneLocation, restaurant, size of the site and the individual pitches. Facilities. Cleanliness.NegatywneNo disadvantages found so far.Beautiful, clear, clean. The campsite's location is ideal for nature lovers, cyclists and hikers. Embedded in fields and forests, you can set off directly from the campsite into the countryside. Designated hiking trails, all of which can also be used by trekking bikes, are right on the doorstep.
The sanitary facilities are very... clean and spacious (1+). We tried the restaurant twice and ate very well twice. Top service. The site is manageable, quiet and also very nice for dog owners. Well-kept and large pitches, some with digital TV connection, water, waste water and electricity, as well as grass stones and paved terraces, round off the stay. The wellness area was closed. We will certainly be visiting this site more often. Also to eat a good schnitzel again.Przetłumaczone automatycznie. - Markus H.May 2020PozytywneSmall site, friendly and helpful staff, very quiet facility. Small but nice !!!!NegatywneIf we haven't found one, it would be whining on a high level.Happy Whitsun weekendVery nice small and quiet site, idyllically situated between fields and forest.
The sanitary facilities are very clean and the showers are spacious. The staff are always friendly and helpful.
The restaurant with its terrace and interior is very cozy and invites you to linger. The menu is well laid out... and offers something tasty for everyone to eat. The dishes on offer are delicious and the price-performance ratio is right.
However, you shouldn't expect a culinary highlight. In my opinion, you don't have to.
Due to Corona, we were unfortunately unable to use the wellness area, so we cannot give a rating here either.

Sanitary facilities are very well maintained. Everything is there. Especially important to corona. Everything went well. We will come back when the great wellness area is allowed to open again. The pitches are large and the comfort plus a dream, the surroundings are just green and great for hiking. We felt at home.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Sarah C.December 2019PozytywneQuiet location / Good starting point for hikes / Well-kept, fenced siteNegatywneUnfriendly operators / Uncomfortable beds / WLAN does not work properly / Swimming pool too coldUnfortunately disappointing, we won't be backWe were really looking forward to our vacation with our 7-month-old baby and chose this place because it was outside and promised peace and quiet on New Year's Eve. And it was. The location was perfect for quiet days and as a starting point for hikes. Unfortunately, that was all the positive points.... Despite a binding booking confirmation, we were asked to pay over €100 more than agreed on arrival and there was no concession from the relatively unfriendly operators despite their error in the calculation. If we had known this, we would not have booked for the price at all. Annoying... It continued with the fact that the towels and bed linen we had booked were missing from the vacation home and we had to chase after them. That should be okay for the price. Furthermore, we unfortunately found that the beds were very hard and uncomfortable and we got up after the first night with back pain. It felt like you were sleeping on a sleeping mat on the floor. No comfort at all. My husband then spent the remaining six nights on the couch, but the uncomfortable nights meant that we didn't feel at all rested after the week's stay. As the vacation homes don't have an oven, it would at least be nice if the toaster had an attachment for bread rolls so that you could bake a roll early in the morning. Unfortunately, the attachment was broken. The rain shower didn't work properly either and the TV went on strike two evenings and was constantly on. There is no internet out there so close to the forest and the advertised WiFi is not really usable. You really are in the middle of nowhere. It's just annoying when things like this are promised but don't work. We tried the indoor pool but both the water and the room temperature were quite cold. Not really inviting. All in all, we were unfortunately quite disappointed and the high additional payment on arrival left a bitter aftertaste. For the price, everything should have been just right. A real shame.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Ruben S.December 2019PozytywnePool, sauna, peace and quiet, well-protected spaceNegatywneLittle return for the money, pure boredom for children, no store in winter, no restaurantFor us, only the accommodation price is at 5-star levelWe were there in winter. Between the holidays. The site was quite busy. The pitches are paved and there is also a small "terrace" in front, which is really good and helped against the mud. The water on the pitch was turned off, which was to be expected. This meant that water and waste water had to be... disposed of at the wash house. The restaurant was closed. Since no one was barbecuing and the site was supposed to be so full, the restaurant was closed: no Christmas dinner, no mulled wine - nothing. The pool - what actually brought us to the campsite: the pool was supposed to be 27 degrees, but it was just too cold for our children. The air in the "indoor pool" was simply too cold to make it comfortable. You are supposed to take a shower before bathing - but the existing shower is freezing cold. As the senior manager confirmed to us personally, out of fear that someone would shower there just to save money... The use of the sauna costs an additional €10(!) per day! Because to get into the shower, you have to pay €1 per person (turnstile). The cost-cutting idea is also reflected in the water interval of the shower: after 13 seconds you have to press the button again... The sanitary facilities are very chic and inviting. Everything is available, from a hairdryer to toilet seat disinfectant. There are 2 sinks for washing dishes and a water point. No store, no bread rolls. The playground consists of a swing, sandpit and a slide - right next to a construction fence and an excavator... Of course, everything will be different in summer, but for a campsite that describes itself as a year-round site and charges accordingly, what is on offer here at this time of year is thin on the ground. What's more, the junior manager knows how to treat his guests properly - the two seniors don't...Przetłumaczone automatycznie.Odpowiedź od Ferienanlage Erzeberg (Bad Emstal / bei Kassel) July 4, 2021Thank you for your detailed review. We are sorry that you were not completely satisfied during your stay, but almost all of the seasonal restrictions you criticized, such as opening hours of the restaurant, water temperature of the indoor pool, bread service, prices of the wellness area, etc. are completely transparent on our website. We would be happy to welcome you another time! Best regards from Bad Emstal, Kleffel familyPrzetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Nicola F.August 2019PozytywneClose to nature, clean, modern sanitary facilities, comfortable pitchesNegatywneBad restaurant, staff sometimes very reservedA question of demandsWere there in August 2019 with my parents - 1 cottage for the parents, 1 pitch for our caravan - cottage was great, clean and included everything you need, plus a beautiful view - the pitch was also fine - there was even a table and chairs, sewage and water on site. The campsite's sanitary facilities... are newly renovated and really good - only criticism: the water runs out every 2 seconds. The friendliness varied - while the owners obviously only did the "bare minimum" at check-in, the son (?) was extremely nice and friendly. Hiking trails lead directly from the site into the countryside - ideal for dog owners. We found the restaurant rather bad - old stone rituals with the service - food really bad - we ate Jägerschnitzel and had the impression it was Tetra pack sauce on pressed schnitzel - not worth it at all in our eyes.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.Odpowiedź od Ferienanlage Erzeberg (Bad Emstal / bei Kassel) November 17, 2019Dear Ms. Frädermann,
Thank you for your review and we are pleased that your family enjoyed their stay with us. Regarding your point about the restaurant, we guarantee, as you have already been informed by telephone, that our schnitzels are cut exclusively from pork loin, freshly breaded and fried in a pan. Our hunter's sauce is made with vegetables.

- Dennis G.June 2019Pozytywne-Super dog friendly ***** -Quiet -Not too big -what you need is there or to get in the village -bread roll service -Swimming pool -SaunaNegatywneCould not find any disadvantagesLong Whitsun weekend put to good use :-)We came across this beautiful campsite through the exclusion procedure. We had a very nice stay. And would love to come back. On arrival we were greeted personally and very friendly after ringing the bell and pulling in at reception. I assume from the owner, which has never happened to us before. After... a short check-in, we were able to go straight to the pitch we had reserved. The owner even asked for help with maneuvering. As we don't have a mover. The site itself is beautifully situated on the edge of the forest, about 500m from the village. There is a supermarket and a bakery. There is a drinks machine on the site itself for spontaneous refreshments. And there is a restaurant. Which we unfortunately didn't try. But it was also very popular with many hikers and cyclists passing through on the holiday. So I assume that the food is tasty. In any case, the prices were okay from what we read on the menu. We also used the sauna area one evening. You register at reception, pay €10, get a lanyard for the entrance door and your locker. And then nothing stands in the way of a relaxing session in the sauna, steam bath or infrared cabin. The small indoor pool is free of charge for vacation campers. And was very popular with many campers. It's especially good for kids. We were traveling with a dog. The site can be described as very dog-friendly. There were lots of dogs. You can run a nice dog circuit directly in front of the site, both shorter and longer. The paths between the fields are mown for this purpose. What we found really great. The entire sanitary area is brand new and super clean. Everything is made of stone and to a very high standard. Really great. We really liked this rather small site in the middle of nature and tranquillity. We stood diagonally opposite the reception with our caravan. Where you can also have a great conversation with the neighbors. Because everyone passes you on a walk at some point. If you want to be on your own, you should take a pitch further back.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.

- Ute C.October 2018PozytywneVery nice sanitary. Wifi very good and free of charge.NegatywnePitches too narrow and shady.Nice sanitary facilities, but unsightly pitches.CP with not very nice permanent camper area. The comfort pitches (100 m²) are very narrow and long, so unfortunately you are very close to your neighbor. There is also no planting between the pitches. The pitches are also very shady due to the tall trees. The inside of the wash house is very nice, modern... and clean. The showers with washbasins can be accessed via a turnstile with a coin slot (€1) and can be used for an unlimited period of time. The toilets and an additional room with washbasins are freely accessible. The washbasins are separated from each other by privacy screens; there are no individual wash cubicles. Furthermore, there are only 2 small dishwashing sinks that do not fit dishwashing bowls. However, the water/waste water connection at the pitch makes it easy to wash up in the camper van. The water and air temperature in the indoor pool was relatively cool in October and did not invite you to linger. Wifi very good quality and free of charge. Bread rolls on pre-order. Supermarket in town with very limited opening hours.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.Odpowiedź od Ferienanlage Erzeberg (Bad Emstal / bei Kassel) November 3, 2018How do you do? We would like to thank you for your review. However, we would like to add to your comment. Our pitches are balanced between sun and shade. The pitches vary in width and length.
(Up to 15m). Planting and characteristics can be viewed on our website under "Example pitches". The swimming... pool/water was approx. 25 degrees in October. The EDEKA is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. In the Sand district 3 km away, EDEKA and ALDI are open until 8 p.m. We would be pleased to welcome you again.Przetłumaczone automatycznie. - Susanne K.August 2018PozytywneQuiet, swimming pool included in the price, sanitary facilities super class!NegatywneThe course is on a hill, not for those with bad knees ;-)My favoriteWe (59/66 years old) stayed at the campsite for a few days in August. Every other campsite will have to measure up to this one in the future. The sanitary building was great! The swimming pool was great. It was possible to book a paved pitch, even with furniture. There was also extra satellite TV on some pitches.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.

- Bernd G.July 2018PozytywneQuiet location in the countryside, first-class sanitary facilities, restaurant and small indoor pool with wellness area on site, bread roll serviceNegatywneIf there is anything to criticize at all, it might be the lack of a waiting area - especially for caravans - on arrival outside opening hours.Beautiful, quiet campsite in the countrysideWe spent three nights at this campsite in July 2018 while passing through. We liked it very much, especially the beautiful, quiet location in the countryside. Particularly worth mentioning are the clean, beautifully designed sanitary facilities, the nice restaurant, the small indoor pool with wellness... area and the equipment of the comfort pitches with seating area, paved terrace and cable TV connection. The site is ideal as a starting point for hikes in the Habichtswald and the Edersee/Kellerwald National Park, as well as for visiting the city of Kassel with its wonderful parks (tip: Siebenbergen Island in the Orangery Park). We will certainly be back for a longer stay in the near future.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Susanne L.June 2018PozytywneCleanliness and friendlinessNegatywneNoneSimply superThe campsite impresses with its friendliness and cleanliness. We spent a short spontaneous vacation there. It was really very quiet there, but that's exactly what we were looking for. Several hiking trails start from the campsite and the swimming pool is small but clean and perfectly adequate. The price/performance ratio is unbeatable.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
