The site can be reached after a 20-minute drive along country roads through fields and forests, past lakes - pure idyll!
The spacious pitches... are connected by wide gravel paths and are also easily accessible for large motorhomes and campers.
The sanitary facilities are very modern and clean. In addition to WM/TU, there is a free 3-minute gastro dishwasher.
The facilities include a restaurant, playground, minigolf, amusement arcade, pedal karts and much more.
A public sandy beach with kiosk and pedal boat hire is just 2 minutes from the site.

Visiting Stockholm takes about 45 minutes by car and then by suburban train, but that didn't bother us. National park can be reached by car in 20 minutes.... Hiking trails possible from the campsite. Staff always friendly and helpful. Clean unisex sanitary facilities (common in Sweden), each with a complete small bathroom (pay shower, toilet and washbasin in one room, very good solution), although the washbasin is too small.
Tried the restaurant once with take-away, delicious!

The approach to the site is well signposted. We had booked one of the very large pitches in advance for 10 days. Our pitch was just under 300 m2. In Italy they would have made at least 3 pitches out of it. Just great!!! The other pitches... are between 80-100 m2 in size, some shady and some really sunny. Water and electricity are within easy reach. There are no waste water connections. The sanitary facilities are unfortunately far too few for the number of guests in summer, especially at peak times. The showers and toilets are in very good to good condition, but cleanliness suffers due to the sometimes heavy footfall. There are also few washing-up areas for the size of the site, but there is a kitchen with 2 stoves + 2 microwaves and seating for campers. We were always treated very nicely at reception and they always tried to help us. The proximity to Stockholm is unbeatable. You can drive to the next larger town of Västerhaninge and park for free at the train station. From there, you can take the commuter train to Stockholm city center every 20 minutes. The many nature parks are ideal for hiking. Paddling and boating are also great, but fishing is somehow not possible. It's not ideal for cycling/mountain biking. There are hardly any forest paths for bikers around the campsite. There are shops in Västerhaninge, 20 minutes away. We were there for a week to visit Stockholm extensively and are very happy with our choice. Numerous bathing spots on the island. If you want to explore the scissors, you need more than a week. You can stay on the site for two weeks without hesitation. Great recreational value! Lots of greenery on the site. The pitches are generously laid out on grass. Water and electricity connections are never far from the pitch. The sanitary building was very clean and tidy - everything was relatively new. The campsite kitchen is fully equipped, there... was even a TV and a dishwasher. The site is also generally very well maintained and clean. There is a separate dog beach for dogs. There is a small store in reception (drinks, sandwiches, ice cream etc.) The staff were also very friendly. You can also sit comfortably in the adjoining restaurant and the food was also delicious. The site is large and clean. As it was still low season, the reception was only open from 9.00 am and closed at 5.00 pm. The restaurant was only open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The food was not plentiful, but good. Communication in English was... good. Very new sanitary building and clean. Lounge with all amenities. Kitchen complete with dishwasher etc. Great for campers, and good for all campers in bad weather like we had. The site is well suited for visits to Stockholm. We were allocated a pitch with the comment that if we didn't like it, we should choose another one and let them know. The pitch has a well-kept and level lawn throughout, where we didn't get soaked even after rain. The open pitches are... very spacious. Electricity and water connections are never far away. The coast is about 200m away, but unfortunately there is no sea view. WLAN is free throughout the site. The wash houses are newly renovated and showers are free. We were here at the end of May in the low season and the pitch was only half full. Everything was very quiet, no traffic noise and we were the only ones on the beach. ....However, there is a public parking lot for an estimated 300 cars next to the campsite and it's not far from Stockholm. The public beach was clean during our stay, but the adjacent sunbathing area was littered with goose droppings. A few little things that ultimately had an impact on the rating. One of the two authorization cards issued did not work. The urinal didn't flush, the hand dryers in the ladies' and men's areas were defective and the lock on my toilet door was in need of repair, despite the new sanitary facilities. According to the brochure, reception should open at 9am in the pre-season. When we wanted to pay and leave at 5 minutes after 9am, there was a notice saying "opening at 10am". .... The bathing beach is shallow and is also suitable for bathing with small children. Starting point for beautiful hiking, cycling or fishing tours. In about 30 minutes by car you can reach various P & R parking lots, from where you can take the subway... to Stockholm. This campsite offers a good mix of magnificent archipelago scenery and good connections to Sweden's capital. In the high season, the sanitary facilities are not very spacious and there is not enough cleaning once a day. On arrival at the site, however, the tide quickly turned. We were welcomed in the loveless, dingy reception and allocated a pitch. On our first visit to the sanitary facilities, our faces fell asleep and we felt like leaving.... The toilets are filthy and the showers are an imposition. You can't even wash your hands after using the toilet as the tap is broken. 2 of the 3 toilets are permanently locked. The new sanitary building is very nicely decorated but unfortunately so dirty and disgusting that it is almost unusable. The urinals are full to the brim and nobody feels responsible for them. After the initial shock, we went to the beach. Super location with a great view. Unfortunately, it was just as unkempt and dirty as the rest of the campsite. You could hardly use the beach because of the dog mess. The garbage from the last 200 visitors was also lying around. I would strongly advise everyone against this disgusting place. It takes about 30-40 minutes by car to Stockholm city center. But there is also a train station in Västerhänige to get to Stockholm. Actually, this place is far too good just to visit... Stockholm. It is wonderfully quiet there and you can also go swimming on the beach or take a walk in the adjacent forest. From the neighboring village you can take the ferry to the archipelago island of Üto. The sanitary facilities are very clean and well maintained, there is even a dishwasher and an extra cookhouse with TV, all included in the price. Dogs are also welcome here.
