The campsite has a great location. The lake and the beach are very nice but unfortunately it has nothing to do with glamping here. The wash house is a nightmare. There are three showers for women for which you have to pay 50 cents ... In one shower you can bathe after a... minute, in the second shower the water is not warm. So it's a shower that works and is naturally very popular with all campers. What's more, the wash houses are only cleaned once a day, if at all. Toilet paper is not refilled. On request, you get a whole pack printed in your hand with the request to hand it out.
The washing-up areas are dirty, the garbage can is overfilled and would only be emptied after two days.
We were told two years ago that a second sanitary block was being built. Unfortunately, nothing has happened since then.
A real shame.

We rented bikes from a very nice rental shop at Schmalensee, but we hardly... used them because there was enough to do without bikes, or interesting destinations were further away for us. You can't cycle so well with children as there are no cycle paths in some places.
Four of us spent the night in an igloo hut, which worked well. Unfortunately, there are no partition walls/doors and you can't ventilate across with windows, so it gets a bit warm in the summer (the windows are all on one side). In addition to the various rental properties, the large, very well-kept complex also has spacious, separate motorhome pitches, some on gravel or grass. There are plenty of places to sit and relax by the lake. You can hire bikes and canoes/kayaks. Great experience with the children, I can only recommend it to everyone. Fundamental things are not in order here. The access road is an adventure for large caravans. The paths are rutted and not illuminated. The first pitch was inaccessible due to a 10cm ledge. The number of toilets and showers... is too small for the size of the pitch. The bistro closes early and there is no restaurant. There was no information about the fact that hot water for showers costs 50 cents, that bread rolls have to be ordered, where dishes are washed and what else the site has to offer. A site map or a simple information sheet would have been helpful. Conclusion: There is still a long way to go before the "Ferien Ressort" is a reality. At the moment it's more of a farm with a few pitches and lots of raisins in the head. Thank you for visiting our campsite. We have taken over this site on 01.01.2021. This site was previously a permanent campsite with 5 - 7 tourist pitches and no infrastructure. The first construction phase was characterized by gutting the old growth, new site structure according to the B... - plan, new rental units, new disposal station for grey water, new waste disposal area, new development of the site with water, sewage and electricity, new electricity columns, new seating, new fire pit by the water, brand new tent meadow (this did not exist before), new pitches and two new roads. In addition, there are 23 new rental units, tipi tents plus sanitary unit for tipis, caravans, igloos and our Eestivillage. All this in times of Corona, material shortages, craftsmen's businesses
complaining of overload and and and. We and our employees are very proud of what we have achieved, we hear that from a great many guests, but above all we also hear that from surrounding mayors, offices and even tourism representatives in SH. All this within 5 months, in wind and weather, 3 times the construction sites were completely flooded. As of this week, the site lighting and two new dishwashing stations have been completed and are now in operation. A new playground will also be completed before the fall vacations. Our restaurant will be open from 17.09. Shower info is on the website. A new sanitary block will be built over the winter in the second construction phase.
