The individual plots in the roundel are very large, with solid ground, their own electricity connection, fresh water, and gray water disposal. for caravans / motorhomes (all inclusive) In the lower and rear area is a very well-kept pacelierter lawn parking... space for several caravans / motorhomes. W-lan is free and TV also works well. There are plenty of sanitary buildings available and very clean, in the main house there are family bathrooms, washing machine and co. There is plenty of reading material to take away in the anteroom of the registration, including many books. During the week there are plenty of parcels that the permanent campers have sent to them. The office is not open all the time, but when it is, it is friendly and quiet. As a rule, people are always asked to enter the office AFTER each other. This is also consistently implemented here. This gives you a bit of a private atmosphere when you sign in and nobody is looking over your shoulder. The café offers wonderful and inexpensive food, as well as cakes made by master craftsmen. The **PLatzward** is friendly and helpful ... always on the go here, which is why the place deserves 5 stars in my opinion. Even the garbage area is tidy and clean. At the moment the place is fully occupied with caravans / campers, adults, children and dogs. Despite this, it is pleasant and, above all, PRECISELY clean. Shopping is a bit more difficult, as there is no bus connection to Datteln... So bring your own bike or car - there is a food vending machine that is checked every day. The prices are moderate. (to be paid by card or cash) the campsite is very clean and structured. Although it is a holiday AND soccer it is not noisy. Otherwise there are only family bathrooms here. But they are huge and absolutely modern and clean.

We didn't use the restaurant, but as busy as it was, it must be great. The operator is very nice and easy to contact, even if the opening hours of the reception are questionable. There... is no question that the money here is earned with the permanent campers, as there are only a few tourist pitches. These are completely decoupled from the tourist pitches. Our pitch (no. 13 in the traffic circle) was nice and big, even if very sloping. We even had to put 2.5 cm under the table in the awning on one side. The surroundings and the range of things to do in the Ruhr area are great. The site is on the edge of the forest, which is great for hiking. There is a large play area for children behind the sanitary building. We didn't find a kiosk or bread roll service. WiFi was free and very sparse on our pitch. The site is clean and tidy and this is also due to the fact that there are plenty of garbage bins that are accessible at all times. As the permanent campers and also the tourists with mainly motorhomes usually have their own sanitary facilities, the sanitary building is not very busy and therefore cleaning is unfortunately sparse. During the week we were there, it was only cleaned once. With the exception of the spacious showers, the sanitary block is not in good condition. However, the operator has recognized this and is currently rebuilding the wash house. As a result, we practically lived on the building site. Please take a look at the pictures. If you don't want to live with this, you can rent a private bathroom. In conclusion, however, the friendliness, the large pitches and, above all, the incredibly low price were convincing. It is always nice, nice place operator, the children have fun and we parents too. There is a great meadow with barbecue and a great playground and the forest invites you to go for a hike.... The wash house is clean and everything is very well maintained. There is also a nice restaurant where you can eat very well. We spent a total of 8 nights there and felt very comfortable. The location with the huge forest area is simply amazing and the big cities with their industrial culture are so close and quick to reach. The site... is very clean and well maintained. Everything was very uncomplicated and quickly arranged with Mr. Weber. Unfortunately, we didn't try the "Haard Oase" restaurant, but it looked very good and cozy. There is also a nice restaurant on site. With friendly service and bread roll service. We didn't eat there, but everything looked very good and the guests were satisfied. See you again soon Addendum October 2013: We were back at the weekend - for the goose market in Jammertal. New: we had our own bathroom on site! All together only 44€ from Friday to Sunday. Edgar N.październik 2011We stayed at Haard Camping with the Weber family from 30.9.-3.10.2011. This site had been on our wish list for some time and I can say it was worth it. Our pitch was at the front of the traffic circle, was very quiet and had all the amenities that campers need. Above all, the peace and quiet at night... was excellent. The sanitary facilities are a bit older, but were always very clean and lovingly decorated. The location of the campsite is brilliant, right next to the Haard, a huge, beautiful wooded area with countless leisure activities. The tour campers are located on a few plots, but do not have their own separate plot. The area is of course wonderful, the Haardt invites you to go on excursions on foot or by bike.
