Otherwise a quiet place for children brilliantPrzetłumaczone automatycznie. - Götz W.August 2021Pozytywne- Absolute peace and quiet - Clean WC and clean showers - Friendly staff - LocationNegatywneNoneTypical SwedenVery nice, typical Swedish campsite. The CP is located between road 195 and Lake Vättern. The road is audible but not disturbing at all. Only a few minutes walk to the beach. The staff are extremely friendly. There is a lot on offer for children. Toilets and showers are clean and are cleaned several times a day.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Marina&David K.July 2020Pozytywne- close to the bathing areaNegatywne- Road well audibleNice place on a beautiful lakeWe spent 4 nights here.
The site is close to a swimming area on Lake Vättern - highly recommended!
The bathing area and the crystal clear lake are really great (even if the lake is ar*** cold ;) )
The site itself is spread over several clearings in the forest and you are surrounded by greenery.
Unfortunately,... the highway is already clearly audible.
There are lots of things to do from the site and Jönköpping is not far away either.
The site managers speak Dutch, German, Swedish and of course English.
As is almost usual in Sweden, the sanitary facilities are very cramped (4 toilets / 3 showers)
We were able to go for a run with our dog directly from the campsite - great!Przetłumaczone automatycznie. - Christoph K.July 2019Pozytywne-fast directly at the lake - Sufficient number of toiletsNegatywneToilets partly provisionalBeautiful placeWe spent two nights here with our 2-year-old son. He loved the site and the playgrounds. Toilet containers and showers were set up at the back of the campsite. It's provisional but still clean and adequate. The lake is a 2-minute walk away. I have never seen such clear water in my life. It was simply wonderful.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Bernd B.June 2019PozytywneClean, quiet, beautifully situated. Small and fine.NegatywneNo disadvantagesSuper clean campsite with lots of peace and quietFriendly, German-speaking reception, quiet campsite. Sanitary facilities were super clean. There were games on offer, such as table tennis, WLAN, and we were offered bread rolls for the next morning right at reception. The pitch for the motorhome was large enough and the grass was freshly mown. Good value for money. Lake Vättern 150 m away, which we had almost to ourselves - no noise - perfect for relaxing.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Kiki s.August 2018Pozytywnefree W-LanNegatywneBushes of the highwayclear lake/elk safariWe spent 5 nights at this campsite, which was mostly frequented by Germans and Dutch people. The moose safari was an experience, the bread rolls were great. The sanitary facilities and shower trolleys took some getting used to but were fine. The free wifi and free showers were great. The beach was about 150 meters away. If you wanted to go to the beach with your dog, you had to walk about 800 meters.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Sascha M.July 2018PozytywneConveniently located and yet a little off the beaten trackNegatywnenone foundNice place in a relatively quiet locationThe site is divided into 4 larger bays. The bay towards the highway is sometimes a little noisier when the wind is unfavorable. Otherwise a lovely site with a short footpath to the small inland lake. Friendly staff and good, adequate sanitary facilities. There is also a small snack bar on site. There are play facilities for children throughout the site.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Sandra W.July 2018Beautiful, recommendable placeVery nice campsite. Very nicely laid out especially if you are traveling with children. Very child-friendly with playgrounds and a children's washroom. Large communal building with free W-LAN. Everything very clean and tidy. Nice staff with an open ear for questions. Approx. 300m to the water with a beautiful sandy beach. Thank you for a very nice stay.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Jürgen & Petra K.July 2018At Lake VätternWe stood on the right-hand side in the last field. Sanitary containers were set up for the summer. Very friendly reception. The sanitary facilities were basic but very clean. 500m to the beach with plenty of shade and a sandy beach. Unfortunately you can hear the highway. We stayed here for 2 nights and then drove further north.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Marcel Z.June 2018PozytywneClose to the lake, clean sanitary facilitiesNegatywneStreet you hearGood camping 150m from the lakeFriendly owner, speaks German, clean sanitary facilities, free wifi, bread rolls to order in super quality, highly recommended!Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Heike B.July 2017PozytywneQuietNegatywneA little too boring and a little too expensiveOkay for one night...The operator was really, really nice, first of all. However, the place wasn't exactly cheap, the price-performance ratio wasn't really right, sorry. It was okay for a one-night stay on the way from the east to the west coast, but the beach was dead, no kiosk, no people. The beach itself was quite nice.... On the pitch itself, the trampoline shown in the previous photos was no longer set up. Our children in particular found this regrettable. One night and onwards.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Thorsten M.July 2017PozytywneLots of leisure activities without the hustle and bustle. Short walk to Lake Vättern. Very friendly operator!NegatywnenoneSmall rustic place on Lake VätternWe were at the campsite because we wanted to visit Lake Vättern and go to Skara Summerland. We were greeted very friendly on the phone and even in German. The operator seems to speak all languages. The reception was also very warm and friendly. We were given a pitch on the front right-hand meadow. The... pitch is not parceled out, so there is plenty of space. It's nice for the children that there is a small playground on each meadow. Even though the site is not directly on Lake Vättern, you can walk to the bathing area in a few minutes. The water in the lake was cold but nice and clear. The operator makes a real effort to offer leisure activities for his guests. Even though we didn't use it, we could have taken part in a moose safari and one afternoon there was even a helicopter in the parking lot for sightseeing flights at reasonable prices. Only the number of toilets/showers (as so often in Sweden unisex) could be a bit bigger, sometimes you had to wait a moment. The sanitary facilities were simple but always clean.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.

- Christopher F.July 2016Pozytywnevery friendly, close to the beach, free W-LanNegatywneyou can hear the highwayBeautiful place near the beachBeautiful site divided into smaller "hollows". 2 troughs each have their own playground area in the middle and fire pits. One sanitary building and one sanitary container. Large pitches. Unfortunately you can hear the highway. 500m to the beach with plenty of shade. Super nice owner who is very helpful... and also has one or two good tips for excursions. Even offers moose safaris to see moose in the wild. Speaks German. Free W-Lan at the kiosk. Large lounge with table football etc. Table tennis table. We will definitely come back here when we are in Sweden!Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Nicole P.July 2016PozytywneVery clean and cozyMost beautiful place during the whole vacationFor us (and especially our teenage children) it was the nicest place of the whole vacation: very clean, very nice and cozy, as it is a rather small place, we enjoyed the bread service and the kids the good wifi :-) There is an elk safari about once a week, which we unfortunately missed. But thanks to the good information from the campsite warden we saw moose and caught fish! :-)Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Kai B.August 2015Pozytywneclean saniNegatywnenoneSmall but niceVery friendly campsite operator who also speaks German. The fine-grained beach and the harbor are about 5 minutes away. Bread roll service directly on site. Sanitary facilities in good and clean condition. Operator offers moose safari with tractor, highly recommended.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Reto K.July 2015PozytywneSpacious pitches Shade through tall treesNegatywneRoad noisegreat place! We spent three nights in Habo and really enjoyed it. The spacious pitches which we were allowed to choose ourselves are surrounded by trees which provide very nice shade. Unfortunately, the nearby main road is relatively audible. The small store on the site offers a sensational selection of fresh cheese, but unfortunately only the essentials.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Roland B.July 2015PozytywnePure nature, close to the lake, operators speak German, everything you need available, great customer service, great value for moneyNegatywnenot completely tidy, not a luxury campsite, beach not cleanThe almost perfect campsiteAnyone arriving at this campsite is greeted by two very nice Dutch people who built the site themselves and have now been running it for around 9 years. If you want a lot of luxury and fuss on vacation, you shouldn't stay here. But if you are looking for peace, relaxation and nature, this is the place... for you. The pitches are a good size, the infrastructure is good and there are also all the facilities for motorhomes. The reception is also a small store with regional food and a snack bar is also integrated. Directly adjacent is an open lounge with a fireplace and table football table, where you can receive Wi-Fi. When the Wi-Fi wasn't working, the owner got her smartphone and turned it into a hotspot -> perfect customer orientation! The sanitary building offers everything you need, only the number of showers might be too small when the site is full. The paths are gravel and the site is divided into three areas for camping vehicles, some of which also have a few rental accommodations. One area is reserved for tents. Two of the four areas have great play facilities for children (trampoline, wooden boat, ...) Lots of trees and a direct path into the forest are nice amenities. The cool Vetternsee lake is just a 3-minute walk away. The sandy beach was unfortunately full of branches, so barefoot is not such a good idea. Why the place didn't get five stars is quickly summarized: It doesn't look quite finished yet. The entrance area is not particularly tidy (around a private garage and a dog kennel) and the sanitary facilities, lounge area and reception also look a little provisional. But overall, this hardly detracts from the feel-good factor. An absolute recommendation, we would (and hopefully will) definitely go again.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Maik S.June 2015Pozytywne- Quiet location - Close to the water and woods - friendly, partly German-speaking staff - fresh bread rolls for breakfastGreat campsiteWe did a Scandinavian round trip via the North Cape and hereby state that Habo was the best campsite for us. You have Lake Vättern on one side of the campsite and a forest on the other. Hiking, sailing, boating, soaking up the sun on the beach - but you can also explore Habo or Jönköpping. There are... horse riding opportunities nearby and a visit to the husky nature farm is definitely worthwhile. The site was clean and the staff were very friendly and made every effort to make our stay as pleasant as possible.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Markus K.July 2013The campsite is beautifully situated in the forest with lots of nature and only a few steps away from the lake with its white sandy beach. The operators are very nice; we were also lucky enough to be shown real moose on a "moose safari". The washrooms are simple, but good and always clean. In principle,... the site is nice and quiet, occasionally you can hear the nearby road and railroad line. The pitches are very large and there are lots of play areas for children. The perfect Swedish campsite! Highly recommended.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
