Aircraft noise, aircraft noise and more aircraft noise. This fact is not pointed out on the homepage :mess!
Campsite right in the flight path of the airport!
I would never want to stay there again ! even in the time from 02.00-04.00h at night aircraft noise of landing or taking off airplanes. constantly awake !

AIR NOISE!!! Very many pitches and few toilets/showers/flushing facilities

We stayed there for three nights to drive to London during the day because my car with over 2.5 tons is not allowed to enter. We were greeted very nicely by a young lady. A lot seems to be new on the site and it would be further embellished. Plots and parts of the site very nicely designed. My wife and... the kids loved the new wash house. But there are also parts of the site where migrant workers "lived", which didn't bother us. You should know, however, that the noise from the planes was very disturbing until late at night and before dawn. Some of the planes came in 1, 3 and 5 minutes apart and very low.

Nice CP, unfortunately located directly in the flight path of London Gatwick, approximately where the driveway is extended. London Victoria Station can be reached via Lingfield station in about 3 minutes, there are good combined tickets directly at the station. The sanitary facilities have seen better... days, but are clean. Fitters also live on the site, and there is also a small car repair shop on the premises, but this is not disturbing. A nice restaurant can be found via the public path at the end of the site across the meadow in a right-hand direction by a beautiful lake. Cash payment only, no cards.

Kemping przy farmie, ale spokojny. Brak możliwości wycieczek wprost z kempingu, bo tutejsze drogi nie mają poboczy. Największa zaleta to bliskość stacji kolejowej w Longfield i możliwość dojazdu do Londynu(1h - 18 funtów). Parking przy stacji - 5 funtów za dzień.

Nice campsite in the countryside, conveniently located not far from London. The only problem was the frequent overflights (Gatwick airport is not far away).

Good pitch on meadow and gravel. Used for one night when passing through. Very well-kept site with opportunities for excursions in the surrounding area. Airport nearby, but didn't bother us much as we were passing through.
