A hiking trail leads directly to Mariefred (2 km). Good starting point for a visit to Stockholm (1 hour by car).
Very spacious site with large pitches.
Mini golf, small café and mini store.
Mariefred offers all shopping facilities.
In the rear part are mainly permanent... campers. At the lake are the travelers mostly with motorhome.
There are probably new operators, so the previous comments about cleanliness are invalid.

The campsite is close to Stockholm, right next to a lake.
Unfortunately, we felt that there were too few showers for this site. There are four showers each for men and women and only one of them can be locked. The rest are in a large... room with a curtain in front of them. Unfortunately, this has more of a gym character.
The place is nice for guests with dogs. There is access to the lake for dogs and once you are off the pitch you can also go for a nice run.

Stockholm and the Scania Museum are also easy to reach from here. Although the campsite was not even half full, the washing-up sinks for dishes were very tight. There were often waiting times. Highly recommended for Tucholsky enthusiasts. The small town of Mariefred with Gripsholm Castle and Kurt Tucholsky's grave is easy to reach by bike or on foot. You don't need more than two days to see all the sights. The site is very open, i.e. the pitches are... not separated by bushes or hedges. Unfortunately, the number of showers (2 for men and 2 for women) is not sufficient. The same applies to the toilets. So you have to get up early so that you can shower in peace. We found the staff very friendly and funny, perhaps because we have lived in Sweden for 20 years and have become accustomed to the Swedes.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.

It is a small, beautifully situated site right on the lake. The pitches are large enough but not fenced off (hedges/bushes). The sanitary facilities were very clean and tidy. Shower with shower curtain - but didn't bother us. The operators were very... nice and their little store had everything we needed. There is a nice bathing platform/jetty on the small beach, a separate dog bathing area, a boat rental, a children's playground and barbecue areas by the lake. From the lake you have a beautiful view of Gripsholm Castle. The small village of Mariefred is 2 km away, easily accessible on foot or by bike. However, the reception was already very unfriendly and after promising to stay only one night we were allowed to move into a pitch with electricity and did without... a second overnight stay. The pitches are rather cramped and at least ours was in a rather rustic condition. The location is good - the campsite not so much.
