The sea is crystal clear, beaches are clean and well maintained. Sanitary (in general) super clean.
Suitable for couples but also for families with children or dogs.
A huge thumbs up for the Splash Bar team!
We'll definitely be back next year! :)Przetłumaczone automatycznie. - Marianne K.August 2023PozytywneVery nice locationNegatywneNot specifiedWomanWe had a very nice time on this beautifully situated terraced shady campsite, terrace with sun loungers and a lovely pool. - Mathias L.July 2021Pozytywne-Location on a small peninsula -super snorkeling areaNegatywne-Demanding journeyBeautiful campsiteAfter a very interesting drive (often quite steep and narrow), we arrived at a beautiful campsite on a small peninsula. We had reserved a pitch in the front row and one of the small exits (stairs) directly at the campsite. There is a small supermarket about 250 m from the entrance. Three restaurants... are within walking distance.
The site itself has a very nice children's pool with a slide (never overcrowded) with a bar/restaurant and a pool for adults (also with a bar), but it was always quite full.
The site is very clean, as is the very modern sanitary building! However, a second one would shorten the walking distances.
It was always very quiet at night! No noisy Czechs or similar.
The sea is beautiful, clear and full of fish! Snorkeling is a must!
The staff are all very friendly and the KidsClub is run with a lot of love!
We will definitely be back!Przetłumaczone automatycznie. - Eva M.July 2021PozytywneLocationNegatywneCleanlinessNo-go in corona timesThe pitches are totally unkempt, full of weeds and leaves. The wash house (only one for the whole site) is too small and very dirty. Nobody adhered to the existing mask requirement. Hair everywhere in the shower, calcified taps that you don't want to touch and no hot water for washing up.
We fled after just one night. Especially in Corona times, this place is unfortunately not possible for us!Przetłumaczone automatycznie. - Anita R.September 2020PozytywneWell-kept grounds, idyllic staircase to the rocky beach right next to our pitchNegatywne8 km long and narrow access road to the site, no direct pitch reservationIdyllic location with a few drawbacksWe really had respect for the narrow access road to the remote marina resort with our 13m vehicle. Fortunately, we only encountered a few cars. The campsite itself can also be quite cramped due to cars parked in the rental properties. The campsite offers both sunny and shady, small and larger pitches.... Unfortunately, we were only able to reserve one area, not a direct pitch. Our shady (therefore almost no view of the sea) Luxury Mare pitch was in the A-area and was uneven; with the size of our caravan, leveling it was a bit of a challenge. Overall, the campsite (including the sanitary facilities) is very well maintained and the staff are friendly. A real eye-catcher is the infinity pool, which is unfortunately used loudly and extensively at weekends by CP strangers/local children (although there is an extra children's pool and jumping into the infinity pool is prohibited). Sun loungers and parasols are included at the pool and the adjoining terraces facing the sea. From the cozy pool bar, you can enjoy the sunset and, with a bit of luck, spot a few dolphins in the distance. Due to the diving center, the campsite is mainly frequented by divers and snorkelers. We snorkelers were not very overwhelmed by the underwater world, as it was more varied at our previous campsite in Nijvice. This may be due to the daily trawl net cast by the fisherman, who throws it out at around 6 p.m. in the demarcated swimming and diving area and hauls it in between 5 and 6 a.m. with a lot of noise. The campsite has a small store that sells a few breakfast items (we switched to muesli, the bread rolls were one big doughy mass). A pizzeria and barbecue outside the campsite round off the catering options. Apart from the little things mentioned above, it was a successful stay at the campsite.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Jens B.August 2020PozytywneLocation, sea, view,NegatywneApproach, noise pollution from the jettyCamping vacationIt was our first time in Croatia and we really enjoyed it. The landscape is amazing, as is the Adriatic and the weather. The campsite is wonderfully situated on a small headland and is therefore surrounded by the Adriatic all around. We had a jetty right next to our pitch from which you could also swim.... Unfortunately, a lot of younger people who met up there also knew this and sometimes listened to loud music and singing for 7 hours at a time. As the quiet regulation only applies from midnight to 7 a.m., no groundsman intervened, so we had to resolve the matter ourselves. Unfortunately this was only successful for a short time, usually only until the next day.
Otherwise, everything on the pitch was well maintained and in very good condition. It was constantly cleaned. The prices at the beach bar were a bit outrageous (0.5 l Coke 28 kuna) but the pizzeria in front of the campsite was very reasonable. We liked the ice cream best at the first restaurant next to the Lito market. The Lito market was also a good place to shop, although we went to Plodine, Lidl or the weekly market in Labin for larger purchases.
The beach is very rocky so bathing shoes are essential. The two pools are also well maintained, although the infinity pool was almost always full. But in return you have the Adriatic Sea.
The surrounding area is very hilly, so cycling here is reserved for fit athletes or e-bikes. The approach is also recommended for experienced cyclists and is a real test for the brakes. At the caravan check-in, there was an odor guarantee for the brakes due to the overrun brake system.
There is not much you can do in the vicinity without a car or moped. There are no sports or games facilities on the site. Apart from sunbathing, swimming, diving and boating, there is not much to do here.
We can only recommend this place, because apart from the noise pollution there was nothing negative for us.Przetłumaczone automatycznie. - Maria S.June 2020PozytywneLocation and clean waterNegatywneStaff unable to control the annual influx of drinkers from the Czech Republic.Brute forceArriving with a large caravan or camper van is only for very experienced drivers. An otherwise well-maintained Valamar pitch. The pitches were not cleaned this year. Campers do this themselves until the end of June. Food and drink on site are excellent value for money in June. Top beach and pool area.... However, every year the Czechs come to drink and this year they got us as neighbors. From 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., 15 adults with 9 children emptied 7 bottles of schnapps and endless beer on a Luxury Mare pitch. No attempt by the neighbors to stop the roaring was of any use. On the contrary. In a drunken stupor, the Czechs called for a German hunt. There were unpleasant scenes. The Czechs suddenly started speaking German with a Bavarian accent. They would drive us out of Croatia etc etc . Shortly before a brawl broke out, we fled from the square and other Germans took up clubs. Attention, the staff did not help. This happens every year on this campsite and is tolerated by the reception. If this happens, you should leave the site immediately. Older German permanent campers have already been beaten several times. A great place, sometimes a little cautious.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Jennifer Z.September 2019PozytywneVery nice and quiet location Clean, modern sanitary facilities Friendly staff (some German-speaking)NegatywneApproach Sea accessBeautiful place with an adventurous approachOn a small headland, the site has a very beautiful location as it is surrounded by the sea on almost all sides.
On the open side, access to the sea is via ladders, on the bay side you have to climb over slippery rocks, which is quite dangerous in places. There are very coarse stones on the "bathing beach",... so aqua shoes are strongly recommended.
The sanitary facilities are mostly modern and very clean and are cleaned regularly. During my stay (summer 2019), some of the ladies' showers had very little pressure and broken tiles. On the negative side, I noticed that there are washbasins for washing clothes, but without plugs and the plugs from the Bauhaus in Pula unfortunately didn't fit.
There is a restaurant at the entrance to the campsite that also makes very tasty pizza to take away. But the best thing for me was the fresh calamari.
As an enthusiastic sightseeing tourist, the only drawback for me was the location of the campsite. The road is very narrow, and there are also tractors and trucks or garbage collection vehicles coming towards you. So I didn't get out and about much in the surrounding area, which I thought was a shame. It gets even more interesting with a trailer. The verge is unpaved and in places it goes down 10-15cm next to the tar, so you have to be afraid of puncturing your tires. There would be enough space to widen the road a bit.Przetłumaczone automatycznie. - Walter W.August 2019PozytywneBeautiful location on a peninsula, excellent diving center for divesNegatywneNarrow access to the parking spacesVery nice campsite with good diving opportunitiesWe stayed at the campsite for a few days in August and felt very comfortable here. The pitches are beautifully landscaped with stones and plants. There is a professional diving center on the site. But the diving school in front of the campsite is also very friendly and good (and probably even better... for beginners). There are some beautiful dive sites right next to the campsite, so that even several dives don't get boring. The access roads to the pitches on the campsite are relatively narrow, so you have to maneuver well with large vehicles. The access to the campsite itself is a relatively steep road, but it is very well paved and so wide that you can easily get past other cars even with a large caravan. The pebble beach is relatively small and very crowded in high season. However, there are also other access points to the sea. I also thought it was a shame that you can't reserve pitches directly. The campsite is frequented by many Germans. And we had very nice neighbors.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Jörg B.August 2019Pozytywnebeautiful location infinity pool partly beautiful beach sectionsNegatywneSpace very narrow and noisy Cleanliness showers Location very remoteLocation nice, space very narrow and sometimes noisyWe stayed in August with 2 adults, 2 children (12 and 16) and a dog for 3 weeks on this pitch in area A (pitch right by the sea). The reception was very friendly, and the staff were generally always very friendly and helpful. We are ambivalent about the location, the often described remote location at... the end of the peninsula is already beautiful and unique, but after a while it is also a bit annoying if you have to drive 10-15 minutes for every return to civilization (shopping, excursions, etc.) to get to Labin in the first place. We found the campsite to be very crowded and noisy, pitches very cramped, we had the feeling that the maximum number of people should be accommodated here in the limited space. The relatively small main beach was always packed, but there are enough small bays around the campsite so that you can find a relatively quiet spot for swimming and snorkeling. Alternatively, we also found the infinity pool very nice, but here too it was sometimes very crowded. There is only one sanitary/rinsing building, so there can be waiting times. The cleanliness of the showers also left a lot to be desired. Place for dogs only conditionally suitable, run almost only with leash on the street. The dog beach is nice but very small. Restaurants at the campsite were ok, but we preferred to go to the hinterland for authentic Istrian food. Stores on site very expensive, but there are plenty of supermarkets in Labin.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Marco P.July 2019PozytywneFantastic location, great pitches, bar and pool, peace and quiet!NegatywneFew opportunities for young people, exciting journey (winding roads, but doable)Beautiful place in dreamlike surroundingsFour of us were there in the summer. Opinions differ widely within the family. Our children (11 & 13) found the campsite boring, but the sea fantastic. We parents also thought the sea was great, but the campsite was anything but boring. So our recommendation: great with small children, not so good with teenagers (unless a sports field is built).Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Falk K.July 2019PozytywneQuiet location in the countrysideRelaxed camping vacation in green surroundingsA really scenic site with plenty of peace and quiet to relax in. There are plenty of restaurants in front of the campsite. As we were here with the camper van, we took a cab to the nearest town of Labin, which worked really well. The clear water is ideal for snorkeling.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Stefanie M.July 2019PozytywneGreat natural bay, great for diving and snorkeling Sanitary building clean, staff always friendlyNegatywneFar off the beaten track, queuing for showers, overcrowded in high season No fixed reservation possibleWere disappointed......After a great vacation in the marina in 2017, we were eagerly looking forward to going there again in 2019. All in all, the place is beautiful, clean and friendliness is very important. The pizzeria there is recommendable, the ice cream parlor/bar great, the grocery store well stocked (you have to be... lucky with meat). We already knew that the place is far from the beaten track and the approach is somewhat spectacular. In general, we don't like the fact that it is not possible to reserve specific pitches in the Valamar chain. However, we did notice that some pitches didn't really fit the size of the caravan, so if you can't put up an awning, it does limit your vacation enjoyment. The natural bathing bay is completely overcrowded (at least in the high season). Then everyone brings huge bathing animals, air mattresses and boats, as well as these new-fangled submarines, and you can't even get through to the water because there's all this stuff lying around everywhere. Our impression was also that many non-campers stay there (although we can't say for sure whether the bay is actually private property of the campsite). We were really disappointed this year, but will definitely try it again in the future.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Bettina L.July 2019PozytywneSea, beach, great restaurants, very nice staffNegatywneToo loud, too crowded, too few sanitary facilitiesGreat sea, friendly staffThe location of the site is super nice, the staff extremely friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities are relatively clean. This could be better. From my point of view, the problem is that there is only one wash house. On some days there were queues of people waiting to shower. For me personally, the place was too full and there was too much hustle and bustle overall. If you like that, you're in good hands at Marina Camping.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.

- Ivan V.June 2019PozytywneFantastic location, swimming opportunities, peace and seclusion, new and beautiful sanitary facilities, mostly in clean condition,NegatywneDistance to nearest village, only 1 central main sanitary building, price.Fantastic but "off the beaten track"Probably one of the most beautiful campsites in Istria. Lots of shady spots, everything available on the campsite (bakery, restaurant, etc.), enjoy the "blue hour" at the beach bar in the evening, sometimes with subtle, themed live music until 11.00 pm. Swimming, snorkeling and diving are fantastic in... the clear water. The nearest village is approx. 10 km away and there is (only) one central main sanitary building, which is why we chose a more central pitch with our VW bus and not one on the edge with a fantastic sea view. A rather more expensive CP.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Martin B.September 2018PozytywneQuiet, ideal for relaxing.NegatywnenoneAn absolute dream to switch off and relaxVery beautifully situated CP on a small peninsula. We had a wonderful view of the sea from our pitch. The sanitary facilities were always clean and in order and there was always cleaning staff around. The friendliness of the entire staff, from reception to the groundsman, was above average. We really... felt very comfortable, there is nothing to complain about. Free and fast WLAN throughout the campsite. The pool directly above the sea with a magnificent view of the Adriatic and Cres is great. Access with a caravan is also feasible, despite some comments to the contrary from campers.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.

- Mario H.June 2018PozytywneGreat sea view, beach area and pool bar; great restaurant in front of the campsite; everything you need is within walking distanceNegatywnevery remote location, certainly nothing to stroll around or "quickly to the next nice place" in the evening; the journey is quite a challengeGreat offside location with super beach areaWe were given a super nice welcome and farewell for 4 nights in June 2018. The beach, although not very big, is super great! There are several places from which you can enter the sea via the pebble beach. Or you can take the direct access via a concrete "jetty" directly below the pool bar. Oh yes, there... is also a pool with pool water. If you sit at the pool bar, 2 sun loungers plus parasol cost 40 kuna or about 6 EUR per day - super fair, you don't even notice that you're on a campsite. However, it is important to know - especially for motorhome drivers: the location is super remote! I.e. 6.5 kilometers after the old town of Labin "somewhere in the middle of nowhere". But really great for switching off and for a few days at the beach. Pay attention on the approach: the last 6.5 kilometers after the old town of Labin are really tough! Steep downhill, some tight bends and a rather poor country road without a central reservation mean that you certainly shouldn't break any speed records here. You have to live with the displeasure of the locals if you crawl downhill slowly in low gear like me to save your brakes. Tip for dinner: the always full restaurant right next to the campsite barrier! Perhaps the world's best pizza! Bring your hunger with you! If you need a few everyday essentials, you are sure to find them in the small supermarket about 200 - 300 meters from the campsite gates. There is also an ATM there - so you can also withdraw Kuna. There is a small bakery on site - but we never tried it. We will certainly be back one day!Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
