There used to be numerous Eurocamp tents here, but these have given way to numerous mobile homes over the years. The site is large, some joggers do their laps here in the morning, there is a fitness park, aqua park, climbing,... aerobics and much more... with direct access to the beach, of course. The restaurant is packed every evening, there is an evening program that usually ends at 11 pm and, depending on the pitch, is hardly or not at all audible. The site also has a large animal park, so it's not uncommon to hear a peacock walking past the site, or at least hearing it calling in the evening - and it's very special.
What remains is the bitter taste that the sanitary facilities simply don't fit in with the overall picture. They are equipped with toilet paper, but cleanliness looks different. In addition, many toilets/shower cubicles are closed and seem to have been closed for some time.
If you look at the ratio of campers to mobile homes, this is perhaps the explanation. The CP concentrates on the mobile homes and the campers are in the minority. After we were given a rather unfriendly welcome at check-in, our mood was immediately a little subdued. The mood dropped even further when... we got to know the sanitary facilities. The little house looks like a bunker and is very unclean. We also don't have fond memories of the restaurant we visited in the evening. The pizza and burgers simply didn't taste good, but the prices were very high (pizza between €13 and €15). All in all, a campsite that we would not recommend, as the hefty prices and the star rating would lead you to expect something different from what you actually get. The number of stars corresponds to category 4. We were here with a caravan so I can't rate the mobile homes. I think we are among the discerning clients and we were happy... here. The campsite is really big, clean, with good facilities, on first impression it has a newer feel and cleanliness. There is a lot of greenery. The sanitary facilities could be cleaner, but I would rate it as more than average. There is a big pool, a super beach, clean sea, a shop with fresh pastries, a playground. The bar was also ok and the animation was more for local vacationers, mostly in French. The pitches are mostly separated by hedges. When we arrived there was a lot of confusion, we had to wait 5(!) hours with 2 overtired, cranky children until we finally got our reserved pitch! Once it was said that it was not yet clear which one we would get, then it was said that... it was not yet free etc. But after this disorganized start to the vacation, things got better! The beach was great, although there are even nicer ones on the island! Some of the facilities look old, but they are clean and well maintained! Unfortunately, there were hardly any German-speaking playmates for our big one, but he was able to find a few French-speaking playmates despite the language barrier. The entertainment and children's disco were great! The restaurant was first class, delicious and fresh food, nice staff! We were often guests there! The beach bar was also often visited by us! You should be motorized on the island, as there are so many great places to discover! The small animal park was often visited by us, a small attraction for our children were the peacocks with young animals running free on the square! Markus H.July 2010Unfortunately, we have to say that the quality has declined somewhat from year to year. Until 2009, the existing pitches for caravans, motorhomes and tents unfortunately shrank again and again and had to make way for the permanently installed mobile homes or tents for rent from Eurocamp at the campsite.... Unfortunately, we noticed in 2010 that the sanitary facilities were halved along with the reduction in pitches, so that you have a rather long walk to the facilities in the rear area. Dripping Hartz or lice droppings do not make the stay particularly pleasant. The pitches are not exactly generously sized for motorhomes and caravans. As previous guests have already reported, the disco noise is really loud. We are a young family ourselves, but it gets borderline here in the season. But we don't just want to report negative things. There is a varied program every evening, even for the little ones, who are allowed to join in diligently. The pitches are shady and the site is very well maintained. The beach is a dream, where you don't have to lie like an oil sardine. Out to the left, about 200 to 300 meters along the beach, you have a little more space even in high season. The excursion destinations and very beautiful pools (mountain streams with small pools that are very nicely heated) are very easy to reach from this campsite. The service is good, the reception staff are very friendly and speak 3 languages. Washing machine and dryer are sufficiently available, detergent is included in the price, small supermarket and store supply fresh baked goods daily, small bar with bistro, billiards, restaurant has delicious food, pizza is also available to take away, so you can also eat on the pitch, the swimming pool is supervised by a lifeguard, mini-golf course and beach volleyball on the beach. In short: apart from a few drawbacks, as mentioned at the beginning, the campsite is well suited for families with children.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
Urlauber J.July 2010Salü The droppings of billions of lice drip from the trees, or dead lice fall down. There are so many sticky drops that every object immediately becomes sticky (e.g. cars, bath towels, sun loungers, etc.) For an estimated 150 pool users and 1500 sun worshippers on the beach, there are 2 toilets that... are so filthy that everyone prefers to take a dump in the pool. The quality of the pool water would NOT survive a proper hygiene check and would be closed immediately. The toilets for the campers are in good condition from 7.30 am - 8.30 am, but only then and without exception ONLY then ;) In the evening there is a children's disco and entertainment program until 1 a.m. => BUM BUM BUM = loud. At 1.30 am the nearby public discoteque starts with its program until 6.30 am. And if you think that you can't or hardly hear it, you're wrong.
