The quiet atmosphere in the low season was a big plus. There were hardly any people, which made for a relaxing break. My pitch was simply fantastic! With my own terrace right by the sea, I was able to enjoy the breathtaking sunsets.

In the low season, the offers on the site are unfortunately limited. The mini market was not well stocked, which made catering a little difficult. It would be better to use larger supermarkets nearby. A major drawback was the cold shower. This was particularly unpleasant, especially after a long rainy day.
Quiet time out by the sea
Despite the disadvantages mentioned, I would come back at any time. You shouldn't expect too much in the low season, but the peace and quiet and the beautiful location still make the stay very pleasant. Ideal for anyone who wants to escape the hustle and bustle!

The pitches with a lakeside terrace are unique and limited. We were lucky enough to get a pitch for two days, but then had to move. It was worth it! Pool, restaurant and mini market (fresh baked goods) were in operation, sanitary building made a well-kept impression. Antignano train station can be reached by bus or on foot (Livorno, Pisa, Florence).

I can't understand what my previous reviewer described from the off-season October 17-23. It was also quite full (fall vacation and mostly nice weather) The staff had it under control.

Pool too cold, seemed unheated. Pitches small and very shady. Cliff with many steps to the sea. Rocky coast, swimming hardly possible. Pitches at the top very noisy due to road and train traffic. Hardly any opportunities to take the dog for a walk.
Place too loud
Unfortunately, we didn't get the pitch we wanted, although there were some available. That's why we checked out the next day and drove 20 km south to a campsite by the sea and didn't regret it.
The dog area is also getting on in years and needs to be renewed, the wooden equipment is wobbly.

Completely exaggerated, bad price-performance ratio. 80 euros for a pitch with terrace in the 1st row. The restaurant is mediocre. "Dog friendly" the designated place for dogs opposite the busy road is miserable. Showers only possible with a card. Annoying...
Not again...
Many people have made little effort here. We won't be visiting this place again.

Wir haben einen großartigen Aufenthalt im Miramare Camping Village in Livorno erlebt! Die Lage ist perfekt, direkt am Meer mit einem atemberaubenden Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang. Die gesamte Anlage ist sauber, gepflegt und bietet alles, was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub braucht. Besonders gefallen hat uns die Freundlichkeit des Personals, das immer hilfsbereit war. Auch die Animation für Kinder war hervorragend - unsere Kinder hatten eine Menge Spaß und wollten gar nicht mehr weg! Der Poolbereich ist sehr schön gestaltet, und die Stellplätze sind großzügig und gut beschattet.

Ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt!
Wir haben eine wunderschöne Woche im Miramare Camping Village verbracht und können diesen Ort nur wärmstens empfehlen! Die Kombination aus Meer, Natur und gutem Service war einfach unschlagbar. Das Personal war stets freundlich und aufmerksam, die sanitären Einrichtungen immer sauber, und die Angebote... für Familien haben unseren Aufenthalt zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis gemacht. Unsere Kinder haben den Poolbereich und die Animation sehr genossen, während wir Erwachsenen die Ruhe und die Schönheit der Umgebung zu schätzen wussten. Ein weiteres Highlight war das Restaurant, das leckere lokale Spezialitäten serviert. Wenn Sie einen entspannten, familienfreundlichen Campingurlaub suchen, dann ist das Miramare Camping Village definitiv die richtige Wahl. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

We love this campsite!
We like the fact that the campsite is rather small. Very friendly staff, clean and modern sanitary facilities, our pitch with sea view was fantastic, the view and the sunsets breathtaking, big enough for our camper van, separated by hedges, two loungers, a table and four chairs on the veranda. The restaurant... belonging to the campsite is also highly recommended. It should perhaps be mentioned that the store was only minimally stocked at the time of our stay. We understand this, however, as otherwise too much fresh produce would spoil in the low season and have to be thrown away. We had a great time and will definitely be back!

The site is located on a busy road and next to the railroad. The site is easy to find with the satnav. The reception is very friendly and helpful and this also applies to the entire stay. The pitches are very small and not really suitable for large WOMOs and WWs. The pitches with a sea view are unique... and the size of the pitch doesn't matter as the terrace is very large. From this terrace you have a view of the harbor entrance of Livorno and the sunsets are fantastic. You can park your car by the WW, but it's very cramped and not practical. There is a parking lot, but it costs 10 euros per day. The parking lot is closed off but not necessarily safe. There is a steep staircase to the sea and sun loungers can be hired at the bottom. There is a ladder into the water for swimming and the sea is very clean. There is a pool next to it but it is relatively small. The restaurant is good, but the offer is always the same. The store sells fresh baked goods in the morning and a small selection of groceries. The sanitary facilities have been improved but are not very practical and are clean during the week. At the weekend there are lots of Italians with children and lots of dogs and that's when the peace and quiet comes to an end. The site is well suited for visiting the surrounding area and the cities of Lucca, Florence and Pisa. You can also enjoy Tuscany to the full on visits inland.

We stayed at this site for about 3 weeks in August. Pitch first row with terrace and sea view.
Pitches very small, without the terrace it would not have worked at all, we had to park our car for 10 EUR / day on the parking lot outside because with an additional tent for our children no place on the pitch....
Unsuitable for dogs, there is almost no run directly from the site, but with a little effort (500m on foot along the busy main road) you can go into the forest behind the railroad line, where there are great opportunities for hiking (you have to do your own research here, information from the campsite is rather poor).
Pitches in the back rows directly on the road, very noisy.
Well suited for excursions into the hinterland, to Pisa, Florence etc.
Swimming pool rather small and overcrowded.
Sanitary facilities OK.
Restaurant on site also OK, but you can't spontaneously order a pizza to take away, you have to book a time slot for the evening in the afternoon and can then pick up the pizza. But the food in the restaurant is very good.
Store on the square quite ok, but there are also plenty of shopping opportunities in Livorno.

Quite nice for a short vacation
We were there without prior notice and were kindly given a last place. Unfortunately, it was on the street, which is very noisy and made it impossible to sleep at 6:00 in the morning.
Unfortunately there were no bread rolls for breakfast, so we set off on our own. The nearest mini market is 2 km away.
Nevertheless, we thank you for letting us stay at short notice.

However, we regret that the accommodation did not meet... your expectations. Unfortunately, we are currently in one of the busiest periods of the season, and, despite our best efforts, we had to show you the only options available at that time. We tried our best to accommodate your needs, considering your unexpected arrival and your insistence on finding a place. Therefore, it is challenging for us to understand the rating you assigned.

Regarding the facilities, the campground includes everything necessary for a comfortable stay, including hot showers, electrical hookups, and camper services, as well as various amenities such as a bar, restaurant, pool, minimarket, and more. Sandwiches are available both at the bar and the minimarket, where you can also find fresh bread daily. While reservations are not required for the panoramic terraces, they are recommended as seating is often limited. Our on-site minimarket is not intended to replace a full supermarket but is designed to provide guests with the convenience of purchasing essential items on-site. Please note that eating or drinking near the pool is not allowed due to the regulations of the Tuscany Health Authority.

Well-equipped and beautifully laid out site right by the sea, but without a really usable beach. Pool is there, but unfortunately still too cold.
If you're in the front row with your own terrace overlooking the sea, that's something.
Gravelled pitches with their own water tap, different sizes can be... booked.
You can hear the train at night, but not bad.

Sanitary facilities are ok and clean, currently being renovated bit by bit. Quite advanced on the inside, but not yet on the outside. The old washing-up/washing areas have little warm water (let alone hot). But water is a problem in southern Europe anyway 😒.

Pisa is easy to reach by car and was tolerably full at this time of year.

Happy to stay again for a short trip/transit.

Sunshade on the terrace falls over just looking at it, railings on the terrace rotten, half of the pool house door already rusted away and rotten, cleaning lady only on her cell phone instead of cleaning
Everything is outdated and unkempt
It's actually a shame, the space could be really good. At first glance, everything looks great. But you realize at the latest when you take a shower - ok, some things don't fit. The cleaning lady was present but that was it. That was really nothing! The condition at second glance - well. The door at... the pool house - you have to be able to ignore something like that for years. There were easily 30 centimeters of the door missing - rusted away. The terrace and the railings are rotten. That's a real shame! But the view and the beach were amazing! Really very nice!

Good in many respects, but...
Basically a nice place. On closer inspection, however, there are a few disadvantages:
the sanitary facilities have "only" been newly tiled, but are essentially outdated. Therefore problems with moisture, drainage etc. We even had no toilet paper for two days!
The hard-working service staff really make... an effort every day, but can hardly cope with all the defects.
The restaurant is delicious, affordable and friendly.
The pool is nice, but unfortunately also getting on in years (the rubber coating is coming off). The swimming cap requirement no longer fits in with the times.
Some of the pitches are quite small: we had to rent a second pitch with our camper van + awning. Tip: check in advance.
The beach offers wonderful sunsets, but it is very narrow and rocky. Swimming is hardly possible!
The access road is located directly on a busy arterial road from Livorno. So you have to be very careful!
