- Stefan G.May 2024PozytywneProximity to the beach, cleanliness, friendliness of the staff, size and layout of the pitchesNegatywneIndoor facilities, opening hours of the restaurant and storeClean and solid campsite in incomparable proximity to the beachSuper nice site, just a few minutes' walk to the beach. Paths, hedges, pitches, sanitary facilities and main building were super clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't kind to us, so we would have liked more indoor facilities due to the rain and storm. But... we knew that beforehand. The coffee bar and the small park store are only open during reception opening hours. In my opinion, there would be significant potential for improvement here.
Otherwise we were very satisfied.Przetłumaczone automatycznie. - Harald M.June 2022PozytywneThe location of the CP and the proximity to the sea.NegatywneNone. - Jerry C.February 2021PozytywneActually a nice campsite, close to the sea but due to a booking error on the part of the site management everything ended badly.NegatywneDealing with the customer - despite incorrect booking by the site managementThe customer is just a number here!We had reserved 2 motorhome pitches in advance and booked an additional apartment on arrival for friends to celebrate a birthday together - within our family. We were promised an apartment for 3 nights (Bungalow N°3). On arrival, however, we were allocated a different apartment. Everything seemed fine,... we paid in advance, until we found out on the last day that the site management had made a mistake in allocating the apartment and so we were sent off without any ifs or buts and had to leave on the day of the birthday. The site management had rented out the wrong apartment and yet no one made the slightest effort to solve the problem in our favor. We had to leave early without an alternative, although we had actually booked for two more nights. The customer is just one number among many here. We will never stay at this site again - this is not how you can or should deal with customers. The site management definitely doesn't care about dissatisfied customers.
Apart from that, there is nowhere to fill up with water on site, although this is stated and paid for. Never again!Przetłumaczone automatycznie. - Herbert S.September 2020PozytywneProximity to the beach, cleanliness, friendlinessNegatywneNot a store for a quick purchase in betweenWe were very satisfiedThe pitch is really ok for the price! The pitches are quite large, ours was certainly 120 m². Water, waste water, digital TV. However, I only found 3 German channels: ARD, ZDF, WDR. But no matter, we only used it for the news. The sanitary facilities are sufficient in number and always clean. Shower... water runs for 4 minutes, which should actually be enough. Via PLUS Lohman in Breskens there is a shopping and delivery service (order via app, pick up at reception from 08.00, delivery costs are waived). This mitigates the lack of a shop on the premises. However, you shouldn't insist on getting exactly the bread rolls you ordered - we called it the "bread roll lottery". A stroke of luck: while we were there, there was a special offer of 4 rolls for 99 ct. Otherwise, you can be in Cadzand in a few minutes by bike.
The huge beach is just 5 minutes away, as is the cycle path network. There is a great app for this, with which you can easily plan your tours (FIETSKNOOP). Knokke-Heist is not far away, Sluis is worth a visit, Aardenburg and Oostburg less so, Breskens - well. Cadzand-Bad is ok for pizza and ice cream and has a large bike store. But attractive is different! But that has nothing to do with the campsite, which is definitely recommendable.Przetłumaczone automatycznie. - etheike K.October 2019PozytywneWheelchair accessible Close to the beachNegatywneNo discounts even in the low seasonTop space for wheelchair usersThe sanitary facilities for wheelchair users are absolutely great. Very clean and equipped with plenty of grab rails and shower seats. The emergency call in the wheelchair toilet is very well installed. Everything is really great here - however, the site is quite expensive, even in the low season. There are no discounts, not even a discount like the ACSI sticker might suggest.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Heinz O.July 2018PozytywneLocation, quiet at night, cleanlinessNegatywneLots of traffic on parking spacesBeautiful beachThe campsite is very close to the beach, where dogs are allowed to run off the lead before 10am and after 6pm, even in season. Toilets and showers clean and well maintained. We were a bit unlucky with our pitch, which was at the entrance and exit and was very busy, but there are also quieter places, The purchased WLAN did not always work well.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Jörg D.May 2018PozytywneShort walk to the beach, clean place. Staff is friendly.NegatywneNot really cheap and some pitches not well paved. Even on request, no alternative offer in case of problems.Rather poor offer in the low seasonWe spent the Whitsun vacation here and the place was pretty full. There was still some entertainment on the Whitsun weekend (handicrafts, children's disco), but from Tuesday onwards it was over and there was nothing more for the little ones. The weather was quite good and we were able to do a lot, although... there were one or two thunderstorms and this shows how well the pitches are prepared. If the access road is higher than the pitch, you are quickly ankle-deep in water and the ground becomes a mass like on the Wadden Sea. The awning is rainproof all round, but woe betide it if it comes from below... as there was a persistent problem with the mud on this pitch, we asked the operators for another pitch. Without even looking at the PC, we were told "nothing available". At least we were asked if an employee should come by. They couldn't tell us exactly when, because you don't want to sit around the tent all day waiting.... An employee did come within an hour and brought some sand which he applied to the soft ground. So when the next thunderstorm came, the water level at this point was reduced by one centimeter. Fortunately, the day of departure was warm and rain-free and we were able to pack up the tent dry. However, everything on the ground was too wet to pack straight away, so we had to dry these things a little longer. It's amazing how efficient the staff are in this case, they were promptly at the site shortly after 11am to tell us that we had to leave the site by 11am. We are seeing more and more that the campsite operators along the Dutch North Sea are paving everything over with mobile homes, bungalows and vacation homes, good campsites are shrinking and as a camper you get the feeling that you are no longer wanted with a tent, caravan or motorhome. A pitch costs between 30 and 65 euros per night. In the case of CP Hoogduin, there are also the showers and the technology here is often on strike. We had several occasions where the box didn't work at all or only after 2 or 3 attempts, but something was still debited from the value key. As a rule, however, it was a game of chance when the box stopped flashing, so you always have to hurry when doing your personal hygiene. This works better with prepaid cards which are already included in the total price with a minimum credit and which you can leave inserted to decide for yourself how long the shower runs. The sanitary facilities are otherwise quite clean, but when the site is full they are also quite busy and there are sometimes queues in front of the showers. The advantage of this site is that you are directly on the beach via the dune, and Cadzand itself is about half an hour's walk or 5 to 10 minutes by bikePrzetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Claudia K.July 2017Pozytywne- beach - large pitches - sanitary facilities - locationNegatywne- Store opening hoursgreat location directly behind the dunesWe spent two weeks here and would definitely recommend the campsite to others! The sea is really only a stone's throw away and the site is quiet and well-kept. The pitches are large to very large and some are dog-free. The playground is nice and the sanitary blocks are modern. Hot showers are available... for 20 cents per 3 minutes, which is ok considering the generally not so expensive pitch price. The WLAN is unfortunately not free, but works very well. There is a bus stop in front of the entrance and the village of Cadzand-Bad can also be easily reached by bike or theoretically on foot. There is also a Spar there, as the well-stocked store on the site was unfortunately only open in the morning (in July), which is not particularly customer-friendly. There is a lot to discover in the area and the beach is a dream and not overcrowded.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Walter C.July 2017PozytywneLocation and facilities.NegatywneFunctional defects see above.Modern, very well-equipped pitchLarge CP directly behind the dyke/beach with many leisure facilities, store, restaurant. Very well sized, versatile, modern sanitary facilities. Well frequented even in the low season, full at weekends. Pitches on grass, spacious plots, all with electricity, water, waste water and cable TV. 28 € all... inclusive. Already quite full in the low season, so booking recommended. The malfunctions of both the barrier card and the shower chip were annoying. The young ladies at reception seemed overwhelmed.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Bernd W.June 2017PozytywneThe location, the beach, the possibilities for activities, friendliness, the placeNegatywneOpening hours minimarket and restaurantGreat locationThe location of the site is great, over the small road, over the dune = beach. Pitches are different, open meadow, fenced in with hedges. Good wind protection. Minimarket opening hours 9-12°° take some getting used to. Restaurant only open at weekends. Otherwise great surroundings; close to Belgium Knokke 10 km away. Great beach, shallow, therefore child-friendly. Will go there again. Advance booking strongly recommended.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Ralito C.April 2017PozytywneEverything important on site Excursion destinations are quite close (Bresgens, Cadzand and Bruges) Lounge / pub / reception PlaygroundNegatywneShowers 20 cents and then cold for a day (can happen - we are all only human !!!)Visit during the Easter vacations 2017Hello everyone, we had the place for a week and are very satisfied. Price/performance and contact were great, we went to the beach a lot as it was only 3 minutes away. The store was open every day until 12:00 and provided us with the most important things. In the evening Dutch meat platter from the snack at normal prices. Thank you, we will be back!Przetłumaczone automatycznie.

- Simone M.May 2016PozytywneClose to the beach, friendly and helpful staff, quiet and yet child-friendly.NegatywneAs a dog owner, I miss dog showers.Fantastic locationDirectly behind the dyke, less than 2 minutes to the sea, it couldn't be better. A great campsite for young families with children, but also for dog owners - whether young or old. Close to the Belgian border, Bruges is just over half an hour away by car, and Zeebrugge and Ostend are not far either. There are many nice beach pavilions nearby with different menus, pizzerias and other restaurants within walking distance in Cadzand.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Johannes T.August 2015Pozytywnetop locationNegatywneShowering only possible with rechargeable chipTop locationI was already on the course as a child when it was still privately run by the Dees family. It now belongs to Molecaten and has been extensively renovated. The location is great, right by the sea. The site has a section for mobile homes and permanent campers and many tourist pitches, only some of which... are permitted for dog owners. If these are occupied, dog owners can no longer access the site. The site itself is nicely laid out and the pitches are large, the sanitary facilities are ok. However, I find it annoying that you can only shower using a rechargeable chip. The staff are otherwise friendly.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Wolfgang K.August 2015PozytywneThe situationNegatywneStore times set incorrectly.Well-kept and quiet for relaxationA beautifully located site with good facilities. WLan is too expensive, but it is also free in the village. Otherwise everything is fine; if there are any problems, they are solved. You have to get used to the short opening hours of the store, but it works.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- ralf s.July 2015Gladly againWe stayed at this campsite in summer 2015 and were very impressed. The site is in a very nice location and is close to the beach. The staff are friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities are clean and well maintained. What we missed was a dog shower for our four-legged friend. The WLAN network is very weak. It was not the last time we were there. Highly recommended for a vacation with a dog and children.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Michael V.April 2015PozytywneProximity to the beach, friendliness, cleanlinessNegatywneNo continuous entertainment and brasserie during the Easter vacations, too few bicycle racks at Winkel, reception, brasserie.Great place with small compromisesWe stayed at the campsite in the week after Easter (2nd week of the Easter vacation) and were extremely lucky with the weather. The reception was very friendly, and even though the allocated ACSI pitches were not parceled out, we had a good rest and felt comfortable for 8 days. The information about... the campsite and the surrounding area from reception was very good and made it easier to plan possible activities. Various playgrounds, a football pitch, indoor playground and air trampoline meant that our children (7 and 9) were never bored. During the Easter holidays there was also children's entertainment and an open brasserie, but unfortunately both were closed during the week - even though many German families spent the remaining days of their vacation on the campsite. The sanitary facilities are a bit old, but always clean. If we ever come to Zeeland again, we will gladly return.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Karl J.March 2014PozytywneBeautiful location on the beach near Cadzand-BadBehind the duneVery nice and well-kept site about 15 minutes walk from Cadzand-Bad. The beach is directly behind the dunes and can be reached from the campsite in about 3 minutes on foot. Sluis and Knokke are easily accessible by bike. The staff were very friendly. Although only one sanitary building was open in March,... it was always clean and well heated. Hot showers with Sepkey for 0,2€/3min possible, but will be charged immediately on the chip at ACSI (1€/day).Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Ingrid M.March 2014PozytywneNice place, short walk to the beach, longer walks on the beach possibleNegatywneInfrastructure in winter (sanitary/WoMo supply)Beautifully situated site - only 2 minutes to the very clean, long sandy beach. Ideal for walks to Breskens and Knokke-Heist. Generously sized pitches, partly divided by hedges. The site is absolutely quiet at night, with chainsaws working on the edges of the site during the day. Unfortunately only 1... sanitary building half open (men's side). No fresh water supply possible for motorhomes; water can only be filled up with jugs/bottles until the end of March. Dogs are only allowed on one part of the site except in winter and there are not very many pitches during the season. No dog stations.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
