Molecaten Recreation Park 'Kruininger Gors' is the largest recreation park in The Netherlands. Kruininger Gors, along Brielse Meer (Lake Brielle), is ideally situated for lovers of water sports. For over fifty years now, people have enjoyed wonderful holidays in this …pleasant and attractive holiday village with its private sandy beaches. Its numerous narrow lanes and small fields add to the special character of Kruininger Gors. This cheerful recreation village, often referred to as 'Het Gors', has its own sandy beaches along Brielse Meer (Lake Brielle). Besides a slipway, there are also moorings for small boats. Brielse meer simply is a paradise for lovers of water sports and anglers will certainly find some nice casts. Near the canteen with its cordial and welcoming atmosphere, are moorings for small boats and trailer slips and from there you can sail straight onto Brielse meer. You can also make a cycle trip around Lake Brielle, but you can take a shortcut halfway. A ferry, for pedestrians and cyclist only, plies between the north and south shores of the lake. There is an 18-hole golf course, Kleiburg Golf Club, on the north shore of the lake.
