"More for families with children - The campsite is definitely great for families with children! Pool, lake with water slide, a train that runs around the site all day with music, entertainers who run around the site singing with ghetto blasters... But if you are looking for peace and quiet, this is not the place for you! Everything here is firmly in Dutch hands! English is still spoken at reception, but that's about it... The restaurant is quite expensive and the menus are only in the local language... without a Google translator you don't know what you're going to get to eat! The lake is beautiful, but of course a magnet for the kids, who express their joy loudly until late in the evening. Dogs are not allowed on the lake.

"Place is clean, quiet and equipped with a beautiful sandy beach - First of all, the site is clean, quiet and has a lovely sandy beach. There is a lot of play equipment which is unfortunately past its best, but the children clearly still enjoy it. The indoor pool itself is clean. The showers and toilets belonging to it are still at the stage of construction and are also well past their prime. As a German, you're a bit lost here. The place is firmly in local hands. Communication only in English. No problem for adults or young people with school English. However, small children have a hard time making friends. Our caravan stayed at the site for 6 weeks. And three families had the same experience.

"Camping with Golf Course - We had a nice trip with our family last September. What a nice campsite. Upon arrival, we were given a map with all available sites and could choose a site. We were already there in the morning and it was no problem to drive directly on to the campsite (this will probably be a different story in high season ...) We had a nice field selected with a playground for the children. The first few days the weather was still nice and we swam in the lake. I myself am a real golf lover and made a lot of use of the 9-hole golf course, which is located opposite the campground. A nice, not too big course, but definitely worth it! This vacation we have all enjoyed the atmosphere of the campsite at the reception, in the store and at the restaurant, the clean sanitary facilities (yes, even in low season!) and also for me a plus, the golf course near the campsite!

"Super stay at this beautiful park - We enjoyed a wonderful stay at De Achterste Hoef. We were on the waterfront and had a place with private sanitary facilities. What a luxury to have your own sanitary on your pitch overlooking the beautiful lake. We had great weather, so we walked straight from the pitch into the crystal clear lake for a swim. The campground is fully equipped and very well kept. The pool is relatively small, but great for swimming a few lengths. Activities are organized for all ages so everyone can have a good time. From the campsite you can cycle straight into the woods.

"Happy vacations - Had 2 weeks vacation on the back hoof. our 2 sons had a great time. large swimming lake, great pool. Participated in hexathlon the boys. Was well organized. Next year again :)

"Lovely area - Visited a few times and always have an enjoyable stay. Lovely small towns locally, often have the lake to ourselves (mid august and occupancy drops to pensioners who appear to book in for months). Great location for visiting De Efteling

Carefree camping Recreation Park De Achterste Hoef. Recreation Park De Achterste Hoef is a cozy Brabant family campsite, located in the south of the Netherlands. Where you can enjoy camping with your entire family. Our pitches are suitable for tents, …caravans, trailers and mobile homes. Each pitch is +/- 100 m2. No own camping equipment? No problem! We also rent out luxury chalets, cottages and cabins. Currently we have four luxury five-person chalets, 6 luxury safari tents, 7 Lotus Belle tents, an 8-person bungalow and two cabins (four person) at your disposal. Do you like an active holiday, luxury camping (on the waterfront with private sanitary facilities), tranquility, comfort or a family vacation? Young and old can enjoy a true five star holiday experience at Recreation Park De Achterste Hoef! Even your pets are welcome. Our wooded area just outside Bladel (just under Eindhoven, in the south of the Netherlands) and real Brabant cosiness contribute to an unforgetable camping or bungalow holiday at our five star Recreation Park De Achterste Hoef. A wide range of facilities at our five star campsite Our child-friendly Brabant five star familycampsite is set in the countryside south of the Netherlands. It is adjacent to a wooded area with many cycling and walking routes that extend far beyond the border of Belgium. The campsite has extensive facilities including an indoor pool and heated outdoor pool, an indoor playground, recreational lake with beach and water slide, spacious heated sanitary facilities including family showers, baby room, children's toilets and spacious disabled sanitary facilities. During the entire camping season, our professional recreational team organises all kinds of fun and entertaining activities, such as theater performances , lounge and disco nights (12+) in the Chillerzz and a little train that rides around the campsite. The kids can also enjoy hours of fun on our BMX track near our cableway, in the indoor playground and large outdoor playground with an air trampoline. Eating out? Our restaurant/pub De Achterste Hoef is open daily. You can also find fresh rolls and small groceries at our little campsite convencience store. Which is also daily open for your convencience.

Vanuit Eindhoven volgt u de borden Turnhout-Antwerpen. Op deze snelweg neemt u de afslag Bladel. Boven-aan bij het stoplicht gaat u links, en vervolgens bij de rotonde rechts. Volg de borden Eersel-Reusel. In Bladel, bij de tweede verkeers-lichten, ziet u …een ANWB-wijzer (richting Bladel Zuid), waarop staat aangegeven dat u linksaf moet naar De Achterste Hoef. U volgt deze landelijke weg ongeveer 2,5 kilometer tot een nieuwe ANWB-wijzer (richting Bladel Zuid) aan uw linkerzijde aangeeft dat u rechtsaf moet. Vanuit Tilburg volgt u de provinciale weg naar Hilvarenbeek-Reusel. In Reusel gaat u op de rotonde links en volgt u de doorgaande hoofdweg richting Bladel-Eersel.In Bladel ziet u bij het tweede stoplicht een ANWB- wijzer(richting Bladel Zuid), waarop staat aangegeven dat u rechtsaf moet naar De Achterste Hoef. U volgt deze landelijke weg tot een nieuwe ANWB-wijzer (richting Bladel Zuid) aangeeft dat u rechtsaf moet.
