- Björn B.July 2022PozytywneQuietly located on the outskirts of the village Center easily accessible by bike, but also on foot or by bus Mountain railway ticket includedNegatywneToo bad that only the buses in Oberstdorf and not also in Kleinwalsertal are included (but this is not due to the CP)beautiful place in beautiful OberstdorfIt was our first time in Oberstdorf and we were delighted with the place and the campsite. Pitching on the pitches is indeed highly regulated (criticism from other campers), but you have perfect, level pitches with an immaculate lawn. We wouldn't have pitched differently even without the regulations. If you use the cable car tickets, the campsite is good value for money.
We'll definitely be back again.Przetłumaczone automatycznie. - Thomas H.July 2022Pozytywne- the nice owners - the clean site and the well-kept grounds - the peace and quiet and the magnificent surroundings - the feeling of being warmly welcomedNegatywne---We love this place and will be back! ! !We are "repeat offenders" and will definitely go there again at the next opportunity! - Claudia K.April 2022PozytywneGood location by bike 8 minutes to the center, bus stop almost in front of the door, very clean sanitary facilities, very friendly team and quiet campers Bread roll salesNegatywneThe three of us agree ... no disadvantages identifiedWonderful recoveryWe are about 40 years old and our son is almost 9 years old. We have been here twice and were again very satisfied. Our son immediately found other children to play with! There is no animation here but you don't need that here either! We like that it is very clean and quiet here and you can sleep really... well at night! The team is very friendly, even in the bistro! The food there was always excellent and well worth a visit! Clean sanitary facilities are very important to us and there's nothing to complain about here! The washing-up area was also always clean and other campers were very considerate! We also think the location is great! For those who don't want to buy bread rolls in the morning, you can also buy them directly on site, they taste delicious :-)!
We will definitely be back and are really looking forward to it. Unfortunately we didn't manage to use the sauna, but next time we will!

- Michaela J.June 2021PozytywneGreat location (Oberstdorf can be reached by bike & on foot), very well-kept lawns, clean sanitary facilities, very nice staff at reception/shop, delicious bread rolls, sunny spots, nice inn and of course the included mountain railway tickets are absolutely idealNegatywneActually none. The immediate surroundings of the sauna barrel could be made a little nicer, but it's not a wellness campsite....Beautiful place in a top location and countless possibilities for leisure activitiesThe many negative reviews have prompted me to write a review myself... of course I understand that everyone wants to pitch their awning & it's annoying if it doesn't quite fit on the paved area, but all the other things I absolutely can't understand... We had a 4m caravan & so our awning fitted & we'll... be visiting the site again this year with our van. And due to the regulations for pitching, the site has very nice well-kept lawns & not huge muddy areas like other sites. The sanitary facilities were spotlessly clean at all times, with the code at least no external people go to the toilet and... all the staff at reception were super friendly & helpful. I can't understand the points of criticism. Furthermore... yes, if you only stay 2 nights, there are cheaper or more luxurious places, but people - it's Oberstdorf. The hotels there are also more expensive than in the middle of nowhere and if all the cable cars up to Kleinwalsertal are included from 7 nights (after all, the operator doesn't get them for free either), then value for money is absolutely given. You have soooo many possibilities for hiking, biking and much more, Oberstdorf has many nice stores, many restaurants etc., great destinations in the immediate vicinity and you can therefore spend a great vacation with Rubicamp 👍!Przetłumaczone automatycznie.

- Christian K.October 2020Pozytywne- nice reception - Price in the normal range - clean sanitary facilities - good connection to the center, either by bus or 20 min. on footNegatywne-Everything in orderYou can spend a few days here without hesitation. Still quite busy in October, but despite Corona there is always a toilet or shower free.
I can't understand the sometimes rather petty complaints of some commentators here. I think they were trying to find a fly in the ointment. They were always friendly... to us. Showers were warm, water pressure could be higher, but to call it a trickle is ridiculous. Visually, the place is also nicer than the other one next door.
Bread rolls very tasty.Przetłumaczone automatycznie. - Michaela R.September 2020PozytywneWell-kept place Friendly team Delicious food in the camp's own bistroNegatywneNone found during our stay!Beautiful place! This was our first visit to the Rubi camp and I had my fears due to some very critical reviews regarding the friendliness of the campsite operators, but I suppose it's a case of calling a spade a spade.
Yes, we had made a reservation for a week and also paid the required deposit in advance, according... to the operator's rules, but this is already stated in the reservation conditions. If you don't want that, then don't come here.
We received a very friendly welcome on arrival and an even friendlier farewell on departure. When we occupied our pitch, we were more than pleasantly surprised. How often do you have to put up with a surface that has been "rocked" by previous guests on other pitches? Not so here: lush green grass. It was wonderful to be able to walk barefoot on the grass. You can only do this if guests follow the rules set by Rubi-Camp and if it is mowed regularly.
The site has everything you need. Clean sanitary facilities, a good bread roll dealer (the rolls were very tasty) and a fantastic view of the mountains.
As for the friendliness of the staff, I can only say that the manager was always available for a chat and went out of her way when we asked for an extension. At first there was no regular pitch available, so we had to stand on the meadow, but then she rebooked us onto one of the very comfortable pitches (grass pavers for the vehicle and paving in front of the vehicle) without us having to do anything (presumably someone jumped off at short notice). I thought that was more than thoughtful. I was definitely very pleased. Especially as the weather forecast for the area was excellent.
The bistro offers hot meals two days a week in the evening and the food was simply delicious. Our stay here was perfect all round. Thanks to the Zeller family and their staff.Przetłumaczone automatycznie. - Manuela D.July 2020Pozytywneneat and clean, everything very well maintained, nice and friendlyNegatywnea separate bathroom for parents and children would be ideal, otherwise everything was greatcompletely satisfiedA great, clean campsite. The structure of the pitches with grass paving stones, paved awning area and lawn means that everything looks very tidy and doesn't get muddy even when it rains.
The sanitary areas were very tidy. The corona conditions were well implemented and were also easy for everyone to... understand.
The children's bathtub - which is available for both men and women - was wonderful. Our 1-year-old son also loves taking a shower. A family bath would have been ideal here so that we could have looked after him together.
The well-kept lawn must of course be mowed. This is also done every day - at least whenever someone leaves. It's not anyone's fault that our son takes his morning nap when the neighbor's property needs mowing...
The site is ideal as a starting point for hikes or bike tours. The proximity to parking lots P1 and P2 is also an advantage. From here you can easily take the local bus to Oberstdorf.Przetłumaczone automatycznie. - Britta W.July 2020PozytywneGreat location, very friendly team, everything perfectNegatywneEverything was greatAny time againWe felt soooo comfortable and would love to come back. - Angelika P.February 2020PozytywneEverythingNegatywnenothing to complain aboutSuper placeOn our winter trip through the Allgäu and Tyrol, we liked the Rubicamp the best. At first we were concerned about the negative reviews. I don't understand these "complainers". How did they behave to not get along with the lady at reception?
We were greeted in a very friendly manner with our dog and we... had no problems with anyone the whole time. All the staff were always friendly and helpful.
The site is very well maintained. The pitch is paved with grass pavers for the vehicle. There is a paved strip next to it. So you can get into your vehicle clean even in mud and snow. Next to it is a piece of green meadow, which was still green now because the owner makes sure that no foil is laid out there. We'll be back in the fall because we can be sure that we'll find grass and not just dirt like on many other pitches.
The sanitary building was also always clean and well maintained.
There are lots of hiking opportunities all around. The paths were easy to walk on, even with snow, because the flattened snow was roughened every morning.Przetłumaczone automatycznie. - Michael K.January 2020PozytywneGreat location, paved pitches, ideal at any time of year, the quality and management of the site matches the beautiful landscape.NegatywneNo, conspicuously negative reviews obviously come from people who do not adhere to the clear rules and want to do harm.Beautiful, well-kept complex managed with heart and responsibilityBeautiful, very well-kept facility, clean sanitary facilities, friendly hosts, helpfulness, very beautiful location, fantastic view, order and structure available, large pitches, no maneuvering problems, run with love and commitment by the very nice and helpful operator family.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Uwe M.December 2019PozytywneVery nice areaNegatywneUnfriendly and cold-hearted. Regulations that quickly turn a vacation into a flop. Full payment for early departure.Very unfriendly and only focused on making moneyHello, when I read the negative reviews here I have to absolutely agree. My wife was in Oberstdorf for rehab and I decided to spend the last 8 days there with my caravan. The reception was rather heartless about the information on the TV on offer, no more precise details could be given. The cleanliness... left a lot to be desired as there was garbage in the fresh water room for the whole time I was there and it was not cleaned up. The showers were a disaster or a trickle. The final straw was that they wanted to charge me for my wife and her visit because they accompanied me to my caravan after a walk to collect my wallet. The action lasted less than 5 minutes as the old lady was already standing at the site and said that she would charge the people on departure. My conclusion: 1. very unfriendly treatment of customers. 2. the guidelines should be clearly defined on the website so that you can decide for yourself whether you want to live with the homemade rules on your vacation. 3. having money is nice, but a satisfied customer who wants to visit the place again and thinks back to it with pleasure is even nicer and more value-adding. I will not visit Rubi Camp again as long as these owners run it, even though the area is very beautiful.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Michaela S.September 2019PozytywneMountain railroads included Peace and relaxation Delicious fresh dishesNegatywneSanitary could be cleaned 2x dailyNice quiet placeWe stayed at Rubi-camp at the end of August/beginning of September 2019. Great quiet place, very friendly welcome. That all 8 mountain railroads are included - great. The Zeller family did a great job organizing our 20th wedding anniversary. Flowers at the breakfast table and Mrs. Zeller and her granddaughter... served an extra piece of cake with small table fireworks (at the expense of the house) We also had nice conversations with Mr. Zeller. I also thought it was great to be able to dry our towels in the sanitary building. All in all it was very nice at Rubi-camp, we will be back. Small suggestion: sanitary cleaning twice a day would be goodPrzetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Rainer E.September 2019PozytywneCentral and mountain railroads includedNegatywneUnfriendliness, sanitary facilities insufficient and poorly maintained. Water pressure in the sanitary facilities not sufficient.Once and not againWe spent 9 nights on the pitch, actually wanted to spend 10 nights there and voluntarily left earlier. The sanitary facilities are absolutely inadequate when the site is fully booked, and the cleaning once a day (in the morning) is clearly not enough. The water pressure in all the showers is more of... a trickle; the operator was approached about this several times, unfortunately without success. The ladies have two showers with hand showers, one completely calcified, the second black with mold. One day we came back from hiking and were surprised that we had no electricity in the caravan. We checked everything and found nothing. So we went to reception and asked why we had no electricity on the pitch. The young lady then said, "oh, we accidentally found it this morning, now the power is back on." Unfortunately, I had packed the fridge full for the weekend the day before and had to dispose of a lot of food as the temperature in the fridge had risen to 16 degrees. When I asked the operator about it, the lady just said we were sorry. I then said it wasn't funny, to which the lady replied: "I'm not laughing either!!!" There was no compensation or concession when it came to payment. We booked a long time in advance and payment of the total amount was due in full at least 1 month before arrival. A deposit is ok, even 50% because of me, but the total amount? A refund (except for the tourist tax) in the event of early departure was also out of the question. The campsite is centrally located for all activities, but unfortunately it is no longer an option for us with this operator.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.

- Anneli T.September 2019PozytywneLocation, comfortNegatywneReservation of a pitch only if you stay for 10 daysWell-kept place in a very nice locationMy husband and I were completely satisfied with the Rubi Camp again this year. It was our 9th time here, but only our 3rd time outside the winter season. A quiet, well-kept site with large, comfortable pitches. Wonderfully situated with a beautiful view of the mountains. Just a few steps from the hiking... trails and - in winter - the cross-country ski trails. On top of that, it's right on the forest path to Oberstdorf. The sanitary facilities are good, all toilets were always open. The facilities are still clean - even when the site is full. There are no fixed closing times for the toilets. There is now also a chef here who conjures up delicious dishes on certain evenings. When we checked in, we also received another Bergbahncard, which allowed us to use the surrounding cable cars as often as we wanted for free. A great gift! This time, September 2019, the place was fully booked. The manager did everything she could and found a solution, much to our delight. But that won't always be possible: a full pitch is a full pitch. So it's a real shame that you can only make a reservation if you're staying longer than 10 days. Without a reservation, the only option is to go there on suspicion (I was given this advice the day before I arrived), only to find that the place is full: The place is full. This is already a problem because in this case you have to drive quite a long way back via the B19 to find an adequate campsite in another area. Okay, that's an organizational problem. Everything else FITS! We will gladly come here again.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
