- Thomas S.May 2023PozytywnePeace and quiet Cleanliness Bread roll serviceNegatywne(nothing)Quiet and right by the seaIf you are looking for relaxation and peace and quiet, this is the place for you. Only the sound of the sea and occasional planes arriving and departing (not disturbing!) provide some background noise. All the facilities are well maintained and clean, the service is friendly and unagitated. Pure vacation!... - Two comments: The access path from the road is very dusty; this is not for sensitive natures and is simply part of the Danish remoteness. And due to the elongated layout of the campsite, there are a few campers who actually drive to the sanitary facilities instead of walking or cycling; but this is more due to the ignorance of the campers than the campsite.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.
- Heiko R.June 2022PozytywneIf you are looking for peace and quiet, a magnificent view of the sea from almost every pitch and plenty of nature for cycling and hiking, this is the place for you. Every morning we enjoy looking out over the sea with a cup of coffee, our legs up and enjoying the peace and quiet. The campsite can be reached via an approx. 1 km long, easily passable forest path. This means there is no road noise here. The sanitary facilities are clean and technically perfect. There is also a washing machine, tumble dryer and washing-up facilities on site. The kiosk on site sells the essentials and fresh bread and rolls. The nearest small supermarket "Min Købmand" is in Balle, which can be easily reached by bike through the forest in 6 km. There is a swing and a bouncy giraffe for children. Older children will enjoy their adventures in the forest. You can be online via the campsite's WLAN (for a fee) or via LTE in the northern part of the campsite. The sea gets quite deep very quickly, which is ideal for fishing from the beach or by boat. The beach is made up of fine to coarse gravel. However, the part with the fine gravel is wide enough for sunbathers and for lingering while swimming. The new owners are very nice. Diana and Uffe speak Danish, English and a little German.NegatywneThe place is not for people who need to be entertained or are looking for luxury. A few airplanes that fly by from time to time at an altitude of about 600m north of the campsite to land at Tirstrup (Aarhus Airport) disturb the peace and quiet slightly - but that's complaining on a high level. The sanitary facilities are a bit outdated. The nearest towns are Ebeltoft and Grenaa. They are approx. 15-20 km away and can also be reached by bike, even if everyone apart from us seems to prefer to take the car, as it is a bit up and down here in the "Mols Bjerge". Cell phone reception is not possible everywhere. The sea is not suitable for children who can't swim, as it gets deep very quickly. If you are looking for peace and nature, this is the place for you...There is a saying here - once Rugaard always Rugaard.
We have been coming here every 2-3 years for many years. We enjoy coming back every morning with a cup of coffee, our legs up, looking out over the sea and enjoying the peace and quiet.
We do all our shopping by bike, including trips to Grenaa and Ebeltoft.Przetłumaczone automatycznie. - Annette K.July 2015PozytywnePlenty of space on meadows and on the beach, quiet and ideal for a self-determined vacation by the sea.NegatywneToo far from the nearest town without a vehicle. The sea on the doorstepIf, like me, you want to go to the sea in summer, have some peace and quiet and don't need any entertainment, you're in good hands here. The groundsman is friendly and helps wherever he can. A small store provides you with fresh bread rolls and everything you need. Very suitable for e.g. anglers and anyone who wants an independent vacationPrzetłumaczone automatycznie.
